Hostyard Plantation Hostel

Really nice property for solo travellers and small group. The highlight is the location . Just sitting at the property is pure bliss and peaceful. The views from hostel is incredible

The location of the hostel is amazing.The scenery all around look like heaven. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They did what they can for the guests. There were lots of options for activities, for example yoga and sunset walk.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. The food and vibe are very soothing. Highly recommended for pet lovers.

Very nice hostel surrounded by tea plantations. Very friendly and helpful staff and great Indian food (lunch + dinner) 😋 This is the perfect place if you want to relax or walk through tea plantations and hike in nature. The cafe serves basic food and drinks. The only real downside for me was that there is no bed curtains, no hot water from the shower and dinner is served quite late at around 8.30pm. Everything else was perfect especially if you consider the price. Thank you so much 🙏

Hostyard is a truly special place—I loved it so much I stayed twice! Perfectly located in a peaceful tea plantation, right next to Kolukkumalai Sunrise Point. Boutique-hotel facilities, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, and great outdoor chill areas. The staff are incredibly welcoming, + really bring everyone in to feel like you're staying with friends and also helpful with organising hikes, camping, and outdoor activities. It's always booked up with return guests, and once you visit you'll see why...

I loved my stay here! The staff are super nice. They took us to see sunsets, helped with bookings and organised a Christmas party and gave cookies to all of the guests! The vibes in this Hostel are not like any other place I’ve stayed at. The only thing I would say is that the rooms weren’t as nice as presented in the pictures, but were spacious, clean and well maintained. I would recommend staying here if you want to be close to nature, relax, and feel a sense of community :)

Hostyard is an absolute gem! Tucked inside a peaceful private tea estate, the location itself feels magical, quiet, green, and the perfect escape from the city.
