The Sirena Insolente Hostel

Pretty decent hostel, good location not far from the beach, with friendly staff. Pretty clean too overall. However, the WiFi was down for my entire 3 day stay, and the stove/oven in the kitchen barely works so when multiple people were cooking at the same time it was difficult. For the price I would expect there to be WiFi and working appliances. If they do some repairs and maintenance it has the potential to be great.

Very social Hostel next to the beach. Great for surfing and chillin. Atmosphere is very social, we had one Pizza Night and more or less every evening campfire. Unfortunately our bathroom were dirty and not cleaned at all (stayed 1 week). Last night we found bedbugs in all beds of the dorm!!

Great hostel in Punta de Lobos. I spent a few nights here and because it was a bit before season it seemed quiet. The staff keep the kitchen incredibly tidy and it’s very spacious. The rooms are good size, but my biggest complaint would be the bathrooms are dirty, especially with the sand coming in and out from the beach. Overall would stay, but expect the social atmosphere to be hit or miss just depending on time of year.

This is a very social hostel. The hosts and other travellers were all friendly. I met some great people here. A short walk along a sort of busy road to the surf point and the viewpoint. Kitchen is spacious and there are plenty of spaces to sit and relax.

Entretenido lugar con muchos viajeros muy simpáticos. Los espacios son bonitos, lo único que estaban haciendo arreglos y construyendo lo que incomodaba un poco

Recomiendo muchísimo!! El hostal es precioso y muy espacioso, las habitaciones son grandes, cómodas y están bien equipadas. Hay muchas zonas para socializar, relajarse, leer o trabajar. La zona cafetería es top! Pero lo mejor de todo es el personal: todos súper amables y simpáticos. Me hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer momento! :)

Excelente, los espacios comunes muy cómodos, agradables para compartir y conocer gente. Cocina al aire libre, espacio para asado, fogata. La gente del staff muy agradable y dispuesta a ayudar.

The staff is very welcoming and helps with the surf rental and general advice. only downside is the location, which is a bit far from supermarkets or restaurants, so I'd advice you already have some food with you when you arrive (otherwise it's a 40 min walk to the nearest supermarket). 5 minutes from punta de lobos though, so if you have your food with you the location is great

Recomiendo muchísimo!! El hostal es precioso y muy espacioso, las habitaciones son grandes, cómodas y están bien equipadas. Hay muchas zonas para socializar, relajarse, leer o trabajar. La zona cafetería es top! Pero lo mejor de todo es el personal: todos súper amables y simpáticos. Me hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer momento! :)

Amazing place, just near to the surf spot. Very good and chill atmosphere here, sunset, good cooking, and a great team of volonteer !

Truly one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed. And with the kindest, funniest, and best people. I not only extended my stay but also returned two months later. Would recommend to anyone, whether you want to surf or just hang around the fire and chat (or both).

Amazing place, amazing staff, great location for surfing and amazing facilities! There’s a tiny mini market down the road and a spot to rent bikes near by if you need to get to town!

An absolute gem of a find !!! Hosts are incredibly welcoming, there are so many fun things to do here, and we would love to come back again even just for this hostel!

This hostel is soo cute and the common space is very charming. The rooms were clean and the staff is super friendly. They host a bonfire every evening where you can mingle with others.

Hands down one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! The location is quiet and right next to the paddle in by punto lobus. After surfing, the day was always concluded with a bonfire, where everyone, guests and personell came together and chatted. I felt really at home and will definitely return in the future!

So ein tolles Hostal! super angenehme atmosphäre und tolle mitarbeitende!! perfekte Lage zum surfen! und das Lagerfeuer macht alles noch viel gemütlicher :)

Muy buen ambiente, y el lugar es hermoso. Super recomendado para escaparse de Santiago unos dias.

it's a nice hostel! they have a great area to hang out with a big kitchen, common area and fireplace. They rent out surf equipment too but it's a 10-15min to the beach

My favourite hostel of the trip! Beautiful outdoor area to chill in, very comfy bed, right near the beach. Lovely fires in the evening. Only tiny thing for me is I wish you could use the kitchen before 9 am if you want to go for an early surf. Apart from that it’s perfect!

Unser Aufenthalt im the Serena Insolente Hostel war im Grossen und Ganzen sehr toll! Die Lage ist perfekt zum Surfen und der nahegelegene Strand ist sehr schön. Wir haben uns schnell mit den anderen Reisenden, so wie auch mit den Arbeitenden angefreundet und jeden Abend an einem gemütlichen Lagerfeuer verbracht. :) Das Badezimmer war teils nicht ganz so sauber, hatte jedoch alles was man braucht. Im Hostel gab es auch einen Pingpong Tisch, wie auch ein Balance Board & Workingspace. :)
