I want to think that if it was a mistake that they put "FREE BREAKFAST". Because there really isn't that. The spaces in the beds are very small, you can't even sit down. Very basic.

I tried to call the number listed and every time I did (twice) it was sent to voicemail. They texted me and asked for texts instead. However, they would read the messages and either not answer or answer much later. I was disappointed that the staff when checking in did not know the code to our room’s door. The bunks were ok, but did not have privacy curtains. The lockers were tiny and not in the room under the bunk like typically seen at hostels. I wouldn’t book here again.

Highly recommended hostel with exceptionally clean bathrooms and kitchen. From oven to kettle everything is available on the kitchen so you can cook yourself and don’t needed to spend a hefty amount for food in Edinburgh. I felt WiFi is a bit slower a in rooms. For £15 a nights, it’s extremely value for money.

10/10 highly recommend.The place is clean and well maintained.And very good value for money.Thr owner James is friendly and is passionate about his business and has top notch customer care.Smooth and easy check in process.Quiet and serene area away .I would not fault it any bit Will definetly be back and rebook..I enjoyed my stay so much.Kitchen facilities are also top notch so you can prep your meals with ease.

It is a very comfortable place and the staffs are very supportive. I had 1 pence left to buy an indome noodles left and the staffs are willing to help me, but remember to bring your own lock , because you have to buy a new lock otherwise for 4 pounds

Really good hostel. The beds were nice and comfortable. The showers were clean and private. Also, nice and helpful staff. Would recommend!

My partner and I loved the place, it was cosy, tidy, clean, and it’s a family run business. What else can you ask for? We also loved getting to know the owner James, and Michael who works there —they’re lovely people— lovely to chat with! We’ll be back!!!
