Very hospitable! Charlie (the owner) was super helpful. The post says breakfast included, it’s actually diner. Not a negative just something to know if you’re a breakfast person. Downstairs is a pool house, younger mid 20s on vibe. I felt safe going out even at night. It’s located right in the middle of a family neighborhood and the industrial zone. During the day go to the industrial market you will not be disappointed.

STAY HERE YOU WILL WILL NOT REGRET IT I was not even intending to stay in the city, but I had a problem with the bus and booked last minute based on the reviews. Charly is so kind and always wants to include you in anything from biking to the market, making food, going out, etc. He is happy to talk and is always cooking up something to share! Incredibly memorable and amazing even though I only stayed two days!!! 💕

Muy agradable mi estancia, es como si te quedaras en casa de amigos. Fueron muy amables y en definitiva regresaría.

Great experience! Crafted by a world traveler himself, the owner Charly has built the room for the hostel above his restaurant, with all the facilities you need. The room is spacious and on a large patio where you can do work too with fast wifi (90MB/s) if that’s something important for you. Charly and his employees Lalo and Ale are great hosts. Excelente lugar para descansar, desde que llegas te reciben como en tu casa, Carlos el anfitrión muy amable, siempre estuvo atento, buena comunicación a Pizza muy buena, el ambiente del lugar espectacular, 1000 % lo recomiendo en todos los aspectos, el mejor hostal

This is a great hostel! I stayed over 2 weeks and the owner Charlie was so kind. He speaks good English and made sure I have everything I need every day. He brought me a meal every day, always excellent food. This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in and I highly recommend it!

Este loco es una chimba, tiene una casa bonita en la parte de arriba del billar y la pasé muy bien ❤️. Charly es muy amable y atento. El trabaja mucho en su pizzaria, pero siempre encontró tiempo para darme atención también. Nosotros compartimos desayunos y comida típica, platicamos, nos movemos en bicicleta y todo fue muy divertido. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

I stayed 3 nights with Charly, and he really made our first trip to Guadalajara a memorable one! He made a lot of effort to make sure we had essential, authentic Jalisco experiences, like having delicious tortas ahogadas and birria, and even taking us on bicycle to see lucha libre (even though I'm super not a cyclist I felt safely equipped!). He also gave us recommendations for getting around and going to sites outside the city. And the late nights of pulque, karaoke, and good conversa
