La peor experiencia de mi vida!! Llegué a las 11.30 PM y me dijeron que no tenía reserva.Les mostré las confirmaciones de la reserva así como los WhatsApp que habían mantenido conmigo para la hora del check in y aún así me echaron a la calle en plena media noche!.Tuve que dormir en un hotel muy caro que era el único que disponía de la última habitación.Según parece hay muchos casos como el mío en Nakel Yenu .Hostelworld se hizo cargo de mis gastos así que total confianza con ellos...
The worst experience of my life!! I arrived at 11.30 PM and they told me I had no reservation.I showed them the reservation confirmations as well as the WhatsApps they had kept with me for check in time and they still kicked me out in the middle of the night!.I had to sleep in a very expensive hotel which was the only one that had the last room.As it seems there are many cases like mine in Nakel Yenu .Hostelworld took care of my expenses so total trust with them!.

Location is fine for bus station and town, may get harassed by stray dogs. Rooms and bathrooms fine, however there was no running water for a whole day and staff didn’t seem to care, had to go to a cafe to go to the loo and water still wasn’t running until later in the evening.
We had an enjoyable stay in the double room. WiFi is unreliable but the facilities for cooking were great. Good showers and good size room. Kitchen was good, breakfast was solid and location is nicely between the bus station and the Main Street.
Was basic, very clean especially the bathrooms. Came in winter so no one to welcome us but it was very easy.
Fine - expensive for a dorm but pretty standard for Patagonia. The beds had lamps and there were lockers in the room. The showers were okay and the kitchen was usable, although some of the equipment needed a clean. Not much of an atmosphere but fine to stay for a couple of nights.
Hostel is a fine place for a short stay with comfy beds. Not much atmosphere or places to relax other than the couch at the front. Good for solo travellers.
Nice clean hostel with friendly staff. Short walk to town. A bit expensive was our only issue
Having no hand soap for people to use after the bathroom is just simply not ok. Trying to sell soap at reception is outrageous. You are going to make your guests sick. No lockers and no door locks is also a huge problem.
Simple hostel but could be better. The breakfast wasn’t that good. Still recommendable for a few nights if it’s cheaper than other options.

I really enjoyed my stay there. Beds were nice and comfortable, if you want to cook the kitchen has everything basic you need and even an oven. The only thing is that it wasn't social but it's also not main season anymore.
Fantastic stay at Hostel Nakel Yenu! Got upgraded from a Private Room to an apartment for free and it was perfect, great cooking facilities, bed was comfy and everything was very clean. The hostel workers were very kind and helpful, would highly recommend for a stay in El Calafate especially as the price was much lower than others.
This hostel is one of the best I have ever visited. Every staff member was wonderful to work with and they did a great job ironing out a small glitch in my reservation. The beds are very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Although I did not use the kitchen, it is well stocked with the necessary items to make a meal. I highly recommend this hostel when staying in El Calafate.
Great hostel! Reasonable price for expensive Patagonia. Me and my boyfriend booked a dorm but ended up with a 3 bed room to ourselves. Great kitchen and free breakfast, clean hostel and lovely staff. WiFi isn’t great and showers in girls bathroom were boiling (cold tap didn’t work!). Apart from that was great :)

Very clean and well kept facility with walking distance to downtown. Only downside was that even though it is not on a main street, the cars were a bit loud as we were street side.
Heel lekker eigen appartement voor een goede prijs! Geen sociale ruimte oid. Gewoon chill voor 1-2 nachtjes. Heerlijk bed! Wel klein stukje lopen (helling) naar centrum maar dat is prima te doen

Lovely place with nice staff. Everything you need. Close to town.
Good hostel a short walk from the bus terminal. Clean, helpful staff, and the kitchen was excellent. We stayed in a private room which was lovely, however, the shared bathrooms had no hand soap provided which was the only downside to this place.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist freundlich, das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und alles war sauber. Die Besitzer waren sehr bemüht und entgegenkommend unserem Wunsch nach zwei. Einzelbetten umzusetzen. Die Unterkunft liegt auf halben Weg vom Busterminal ins Zentrum, was wir für insere Reisepläne sehr praktisch fanden. Wir können das Hostel sehr empfehlen.
We felt very comfortable. the staff is friendly, the house is lovingly furnished and everything was clean. the owners were very attentive and responsive to our wish for two. to implement single beds. the accommodation is halfway from the bus terminal into the center, which we found very practical for internal travel plans. we can highly recommend the hostel.

Very well installed and very well treated by the host.
The place is nice. Staff were good. Clean and comfortable. However I DO NOT recommend booking an airport transfer through them. I have taken 2 taxis in El Calafate and never had to pay more than 15,000 pesos. This guy charged me 40,000 (which felt like he decided when I asked due to the hesitation) for a ride of similar length. He only accepted cash as well which I was not informed about. The real taxis charge with a meter and accept card. Otherwise a nice stay here.

Nice location near the bus terminal, nice kitchen and comfortable room.
The place is nice, but the staff is not very responsive. The location is alright, 1 km from the bus stop and about the same from the city centre. There are many rules about using the kitchen and the breakfast is almost nonexistent.
excellent place to stay. I wish there were a few more people but it was lovely 10/10 place and I rrecommend it very highly

En saison basse, l’hôtel est un peu lugubre mais toujours très bien confortable et l’équipe très arrangeante. Les horaires de la cuisine sont assez rigides, à des horaires franchement peu pratique mais elle est si bien équipée qu’on s’y fait.
In low season, the hotel is a bit gloomy but still very comfortable and the staff very accommodating.The kitchen's hours are quite rigid, at frankly inconvenient times but it is so well equipped that we do.

Nakel Yenu is located less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Calafate and about 15 minutes from the bus station.The place is cozy, very clean, and the staff super attentive, friendly and good-natured.
Hostel Nakel Yanu is an amazing place to stay. Valentina and the staff really take care of their guests and they're always ready to support and help as they can. We visited towards the end of the season and despite the fact the hostel was quite empty, they allocated all people to different rooms to give them some personal space. We really enjoyed our time there and felt like at home. Location is great as well, highly recommended!
