Urban Nomad Potts Point

We checked in and it immediately smelled very bad. The website photos are heavily outdated and misleading. Rooms were dirty, smelled, and had mould. Beds also stank. Bathrooms were unclean and toilet paper wasn’t refilled for days. Cockroaches were in kitchen and outside. Kitchen was barely usable, very dirty, almost no utensils, fridges smelled of rotten food and didn’t work properly. We saw rats inside and outside. Staff seemed aware but unconcerned. We left early and do not recommend this...

I was a bit hesitant after looking at the Google reviews, but I found it to b perfectly fine for a hostel. The only complaints would be that the layout is a bit confusing, the check-in process (Goki) was a bit finicky, and the rooms/other guests were a bit untidy.

The free breakfast is at a different property about a 6 min walk away. But can’t complain given the price. Also there are literally no forks??? Eating my spaghetti with a spoon was interesting.
