Travelers Haven Hostel Katunayake

arrived to be told our room was no longer available. the man at the counter was uncomfortable and rang somebody and tried to help which was the only saving grace - it wasn't his fault. this was a real shock until we got to india and had the same thing happen again. double check your bookings here!! there were a few cockroacks and lizards but its a sri lankan hostel so thats okay, the toilets werent very good but its a place to stay if you need to get to the airport early.

Une nuit vraiment reposante avant de récupérer mon avion. Chambre au frais espace douche toilettes parfaitement propres. Merci bcp à l’hôte. Cependant toute de même une heure de route à pied de l’aéroport si vous souhaitez ne pas prendre de tuc-tuc.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, der Inhaber war so nett und hat sich bei Fragen und Anliegen super um einen gekümmert. Es gab frische saubere Handtücher, was es in vielen Hostels nicht gibt. Die Betten waren angenehm und die Atmosphäre sehr toll.

Super friendly and kind host felt well looked after and the place is beautiful you can chill out I went for my transit stay but now wish I went back for my first day in srilanka rather than rushing getting to the coast. Got my parents to book it for their stay 100% recommend

Very nice and relaxed hostel perfect for right before or after arriving in Sri Lanka, close to Negombo which is surprisingly cool in my opinion. Staff is wonderful and was helpful at any turn - would recommend.

Only stayed for a night but it was perfect for our flight in the morning. the owner is super nice and also the room was pretty. we would come back!

This is such a nice hostel! The accompanying is perfectly set up with a nice garden and cozy dorms. Everything was super clean and the owner is the loveliest men, friendly and helpful. It’s so close to the airport too. Would definelty go again!

Such a hidden gem so near the airport, has everything you need and the owners are so lovely and helpful!
