Village charmant pour quelques jours de repos, très bon accueil, ambiance sympa et le cidre de l'auberge est excellent, goûtez le.. bref, on s'y sent bien alors je recommande fortement.

A lovely hostel with a view of the village and fjord, just down the hill. It was very clean and comfortable, making it nice to have breakfast or dinner looking out. Everything was very sensibly and functionally organized and the hosts couldn't have been nicer. There were only two other parties when we were there so it was calm and relaxed. We don't usually stay in hostels and the only downside was only one bathroom with shower, which might be a problem with more people but was another toilet.

Eplet is a peaceful hostel where you are free from disturbance. I used public transport to move around Norway and despite Eplet’s distant location, I was surprised at how easily I was able to get there by bus and also connect to other local points of interest/trailheads for hikes. Sitting in the Eplet garden, looking across the farm and down towards the fjord is the simplest of pleasures. The owners have evidently worked very hard to create such comfortable surroundings for their guests.

Loved the experience of Eplet Hostel. The living room is cozy and full of books, tour guides and the collection is very nice. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is an outdoor farm where you can pick fresh vegetables. We met a varied group of fellow travellers and it was a good experience. The hostel owner Trond Henrik is I’ll definitely plan to stay here for a week next time.

AMAAAZING! Heads up, there’s no food place nearby so come prepared

Excellent view, incredibly friendly and helpful host, LOTS to do in the area (even without a rental car like me). I recommend you do NOT arrive on Saturday or else you'll have to get a pricy taxi. Everything you could want is here as dar as a comfortable cheap stay in the fjords of Norway. I don't think I could have picked a better hostel in the fjords to stay at, this place is truly top notch.

Fantastische plek en erg gastvrije host. Niet luxe, maar dat mis je daar geen moment. Alles heel relaxed. Veel te zien in directe omgeving en daarna genieten van het uitzicht in de tuin. Noorwegen op z’n best!

This is a fantastic place to stay! The owners are lovely, the views are gorgeous, and it is the most peaceful place!

What is there to criticize about this hostel? I stayed there for 2 weeks, and couldn't be more grateful to have found this place. You're treated as a member of the family as soon as you walk in. The staff is welcoming & generous, the bathrooms and kitchens are cleaned daily (you could basically eat on the floor considering how spick and span it is, just don't do it) and the view is impeccable. There are also an unlimited amount of hikes, bike rides, swimming and sightseeing spots. It's paradise.

Absolutely amazing place! The Hostel Eplet is not a stopover on the way to somewhere, it is a destination itself! They have private rooms, a dormitory, and a small place for the tents in the garden. Nice kitchen, a terrace to have the breakfast or dinner with a view over the village and the fjord. Bike rent is available, with well maintained bikes. At the reception one can buy some basic grocery, and the local made apple juices and jams of various kind. The owner is super kind and helpful!
