It’s not what we were expecting at all. The pictures were looking humble but the actual state of the apartment was much worse. From the beginning when the “receptionist” welcomed us it was feeling odd. The main door of the apartment wasn’t closing, so anyone with access to the building could access the apartment were our room was as well. It wasn’t the cleanest, nor it was nasty, but there were a lot of things looking weird around. I’m sorry but we won’t stay here again.
Over priced for what it is
This hostel was unclean, so loud, kitchen was disgustingly unclean and amenities inside room were very basic and uncomfortable. Location to train station was the only saving grace.
Would have been great and totally worth it, but I fear my friend and I found many bedbug bites all over ourselves the next day, so that was a real downer. Had to do lots of laundry and cleaning after our stay here.
great location and felt safe, however it was quite a bit rougher than expected for that price between the 5 floor walk up and the lack of services.
Felt a bit dingy. AC leaked everywhere in our room. Fine place to stay for a very short time.
Not really a hostel, more structured like a student home. The AC just worked plugged in and out. The in between settings were broken. It was also the loudest AC ever. The window could use a mosquito net, cause we were attacked. Otherwise it was ok.
This place has no ac, but if you leave the windows open mosquito gets in. Very hot for Venice summer. There is a pest infestation. I got bitten throughout the night and had a bunch of bite marks all over my body. Possibly bed bugs or something else. Would NOT stay here again until they get this under control.
We stayed here so we were in Venice proper. The location was fine and the room and bathroom were clean. However, the kitchen was a virtual no go zone and of the four beds we booked, one was a sofa bed and one a camp bed. Then the rain started leaking through the roof onto the only proper bed. I wouldn't recommend this place for a happy stay in Venice.

The hostal was just a few blocks (and a bridge) from the train station and not too far from St Mark square. The host was very friendly. They could take better care of the building, the room was on the third floor and the entrance was an empty floor with leftover construction materials. The common kitchen wasn't clean, but we didn't use it. The shared bathroom was clean but w/o toiletries. Our room was clean and served for what we needed, to rest after a day of exploring.

Overall we had a good stay. Great location, amenities as listed, and friendly staff. The only issue would be the shared bathroom that was somewhat inconvenient when everyone in our floor had to share it, so there was always a waiting time for it in the morning and evenings. Otherwise, everything else was OK.

The owner was very nice, he even stayed up late to check us in for our delayed flight. However, the security of the facility seemed off and the facilities did not seem super clean. For instance the washrooms weren't dirty but we did not want to use the shower and the sheets had old blood on them. Also the security is questionable as everything uses a key and our code was very easy to guess to get onto our floor. Location was decent, close to a quiet canal and not super far from the square.
Buena ubicacion, las habitaciones son amplias y estan bien equipadas
The private room was really good, the staff was friendly all the time. was a excellent expirience would stay here again.
Location was ok- close to the train station. No elevator- was a long walk up with heavy luggage. The lone staff member was a little intimidating and gruff. We were allowed to store our luggage after checkout, before our train. Extra pillows and blankets were available .
Had a one nite stay there in late Nov 2023. It was value for money. Good location and the hotel staff was friendly. However the heater only last until 12 midnite. So did not have a good sleep afterwards.
We had a lovely time there. It was near the train station and near everything we needed to visit. The room was clean and warm. The bathroom could have been a bit better though, didn't seem very clean. We didn't get to use the kitchen but it looked okay.
Great overall value for what we received. Not in a main location but Venice is small so you won’t have a problem finding what you need. It has basic amenities and staff worked with us on our late arrival
Great location - close to everything within walking distance or catching transportation. RRoom needed attention with urinated bath mats and were taken care of. Kitchen area needs updated and stocked with table ware and serving sets. Big clutter - messy. Staff was kind. Young man who cleaned was courteous and front desk man was kind and carried some luggage up the stairs 3 flights. We enjoyed our stay!
Great place, in a super convenient location, excellent for the price, don't expect it to be super luxurios, only thing is that it has only one restroom on the floor and it's usually occupied, but besides that it's pretty good.
Great location, friendly staff, good value for money. Clean towel available too.
When reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned about staying here but it pleasantly surprised us! The hotel owner was nice and friendly, the room was clean and the location was amazing. For Venice, it was great value for a budget stay. There were very few mosquitoes when you kept the windows shut (as Venice is all on the water, there are obviously many). The AC worked however was quite noisy - we just put a chair against it and this stopped it rattling and meant we slept really well....
Very convenient location near train station
