Frendz Hostel El Nido

a naked guy came into my room at 5am, peed on the floor, made sex noise and tried to get into a girl's bed. I told the reception, they came about 40minutes later, did nothing. Overall the hostel is nice, noisy but nice if you want to meet people. I juste felt so insecure as a woman.

On the good side: Lovely staff, great restaurant and nice roof. On the downside: Dirty rooms and bathrooms, 0% Mobile service inside the room and 80% of time no WIFI as well, not many common areas - no areas to avoid party, smoking outside the building only.

We had booked a transfer to Puerto Princessa through Frendz. We had to pay double because we had large luggage. But when it came to the day, they didn't even know that we were going with a transfer and we ended up waiting for over an hour before another transfer came. The communication was extremely poor and they didn't take us seriously. In addition, NO ONE else with this transfer had paid double for their luggage, even though they had even larger suitcases than us.

Douches en toiletten was echt smerig. Ik vond het geen gezellig wn knus hostel. Mooi op het eerste gezicht, maar niet wat ik verwacht had.

Absolutely disgusting

C'est clairement un hostel party, il y a de la musique à fond ce qui raisonne dans tt l’hostel. Il n'y a aucune sécurité !!! La clé de ma chambre n’a jamais fonctionné, ils étaient juste " désolés " ce qui fait que chaque chambre est toujours ouverte. Le locker dans la chambre est minuscule, on ne sait pas ranger son backpack et il n'y a pas de cadenas ou de code. C'est open ! Unfortunately my stay wasn’t as I had expected it to be. I had booked a superior twin private ensuite room what was confirmed to me twice by Hostelworld. Upon arrival I was a given a standard room which is a different, cheaper, less luxurious room category with less facilities compared to the room I had booked. I confronted the staff with my booking confirmation and the room I was given. I didn’t get a refund or a discount with the price difference of both rooms. The gave me a small F&B vouc...

Overall not worth the price. Had been recommended by multiple people but did not live up to expectations. Rooms small and damp, and the wifi does not work in the rooms. Big party and drinking culture if that’s your type of thing!

Had a terrible stay there! During the night some drunken English guys went were trying to fight some people. I told the security guard to help those people as it occurred with people with the hostel at the entrance. Unfortunately he didn’t do anything besides from playing on his phone. His name was Dagot, did I terrible job from my experience on. There were some people actually in danger and he didnt help as a security officer. Therefore I would not give even 1 star for security!

The hostel is big and well located but if you are +25 don't go, it is impossible to sleep, people entering and leaving the rooms at all hours, the doors make a horrible noise, two days of people having sex in my room and the hotel without doing nothing, I wouldn't go back

Hatte ein 6er dorm. 5 Jungs und ich… naja

We stayed at the beachfront property in a private room and it had insane views! Rooftop pool was very crowded at sunset but there are tables away from the pool which were spacious. Very seamless check in experience, people were lovely!

A really cool, social hostel with a great atmosphere and lots of activities to do. The rooms/beds were comfortable and clean. A great place to stay if you’re solo/ want to meet people- everyone was very friendly. The staff were helpful & friendly, and the hostel is located in the heart of El Nido town.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, but the hostel needs to change its policy because too many people from outside are coming here. There's no point in paying $25 here; you could stay in a $10 another hostel and come here to socialize.Super noisy at 9:30am every morning all people gather there for tours

Great social hostel particularly as a solo traveller. Amazing bar and pool and spacious beds. It’s right in the middle of el nido so perfect for going out or exploring in the day. An amazing start to the Philippines!

Super fun hostel, so good for socialising. Really enjoyed our stay here, defo book the Tour A with HaqqyLife it was so good!

Really beautiful hostel with an amazing atmosphere. Extremely sociable with a lot of seating downstairs in the evenings. However you will be waken up at 10am with chanting & we heard locals arguing in the room next door for hours. It’s clean & the staff are very helpful but it’s definitely not worth 20 pound a night! I would stay at a different hostel & just go over in the evenings.

One of my favourite hostels. Staff were amazing! I spilt coffee on my bed and they were so understanding and swapped the bed out straight away without any extra charge. Met amazing people here was such a good vibe and so social!! Rooftop pool is gorg and welcome drinks are strong

A good hostel with super nice facilities. Downside is the social atmosphere. Maybe too big for solo travelers and common area are not made for easy social hangouts with fellow travellers

Basic room for the price

Cannot recommend this place more. I understand why it’s so popular. The rooftop pool is amazing. And the communal area downstairs is perfect, always people and things happening there!! I didn’t attend any hostel events/parties but they seemed so well organised and popular. The rooms are always very well maintained and cleaned. And the staff were beyond brilliant! The location is dead centre in town so super convenient. Just overall, an amazing stay and vibe!

One of the Best hostel I have ever stayed. The personal there is so professional in the reception they are very kind and the guys for the activities like YD and all the others are simply amazing they really take care of the guests

One of my favourite hostels ever!! Very social, amazing people, welcome drinks, great view, nightly social events, beds with curtains. Note: no elevator and there’s 5 floors and in some rooms there’s no wifi/service.
