MEININGER Bremen Hauptbahnhof

My stay was fine until there was an argument in my room and then the next day my things were stolen. Unfortunately I can’t give it a higher rating.

Really bad experience with staff because of malicious claim by woman seeking to change room.

Es gab keine vernünftige Möglichkeit die Kleidungsstücke unterzubringen und es wurde nicht mal ein Glas oder Becher im Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Betten / Matratzen waren zu weich. Insgesamt war die Ausstattung für den Preis zu spartanisch.

The dorms are a joke. There are NO lockers NO privacy at all and NO communal space at all. This is ridiculous how little space you have when you stay there considering how big the building is. One of the worst hotel I've been so far.

What is it with Meiningers and cramming a bunk bed in a double room (4 bed dorm). Zero privacy. Staff was friendly though.

A drunk guy pissed at the floor. I asked for a new room with at least a girl to feel safer and they said there weren't more free beds left for that night which is not true as i tried to book later a bed for that night at a only women room and they were available.I went to the new room they gave me, with all man again, and one of them was almost naked and switched on the lights at 2:30am and did lot of noise. i know this is not a hostel issue but it is when a solo traveller girl asks to feel saf...

Great location.

Sehr zentrale, saubere Unterkunft. Leider vollkommen überbucht von Schulklassen, die permanent auf den Fluren gerannt sind und geschrien haben. Die Betten sind sehr klein und der Duschvorhang hat leider auch nicht ganz gereicht, wodurch es zu einer mittelschweren Überschwemmung im Bad gekommen ist. Das Frühstück ist die zusätzlichen 15€ leider auch nicht wert (kaputte Kaffeemaschine, kein frisches Obst, wenig Auswahl, ekeliges Rührei etc.). Das Personal war teilweise super, andere leider...

Location within reason. Check-in and out was fine....stoic staff. 1st thing that hit me was when I stepped onto the elevator...it smelt SO badly like sewage! Worse...1st floor...the entire hallway...smelt worse than the elevator of sewage 💩 .The room was small for 4 beds...2 side by side...very close to each other like 6' so I opted for the top bunk that felt small.The mattress and pillow were good but there was a stong smell of mold at the head of the bed that did not go away.

it was amazing how it felt like a luxurious hotel but also had a kitchen for self-catering, and the price was perfect for a budget interrailing trip! was very easy to visit the Schnoor area and lots of other lovely parts of Bremen!

Good, chill hostel. It gave more hotel vibes, but that was okay for a relaxing night.

Alles sehr zufriedenstellend. Perfekt für einen Kurztrip.

Feels more like a hotel than a hostel. The staff was great and the room was very clean. My only request is that they put lockers in the dorms but other than that I had a lovely experience!

Very good value for money hostel, clean and in great location by the train station(but not so close that it could be dangerous). Would stay again if in the city. Bring a locker so you can leave your valuables in the rooms safe. Lockers are not free, even for the paying customers and you have to go to the basement to lock your stuff, besides some valuables that might fit in the room's locker.

Tolles und modernes Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Gleich ums Eck befindet sich der Bremer Hauptbahnhof und direkt vor dem Hotel die FlixBus Verbindungen. Ich habe in einen Mehrbettzimmer übernachtet. Das Zimmer, sowie das Bad war an sich schön und modern gestaltet. Für ein Zimmer, dass man mit mehreren teilt, war es allerdings nicht gut aufgeteilt. Ich hatte ein normales Bett, dass allerdings so nah an dem anderen Bett stand, dass man wirklich keinerlei Privatsphäre hat.

stayed in the private room. it was perfect ! spacious enough, clean, well equipped. and there was a kitchen which was amazing 😄

clean, nice looking, has games, drinks and food

Really excellent value! Location by the main train and coach stations is perfect & the facilities were top! Staff incredibly friendly and helpful!

Decent enough but definitely for an older crowd, lockers were too small to fit my bag or anything of any decent size in which was an issue for me. Area around the hostel felt a little unsafe but the location was good in comparison to the centre and bus station. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfy and the whole room was clean. Definitely book here if you’re older or want a quiet experience.

Nice Hotel with the option to book dorms. After 4 weeks in hostels, I appreciated the hotel standard bathroom! The location is very close to the center, although the immediate surroundings didn‘t feel too safe for me as a female solo traveler.

Quite possibly the nicest hostel I’ve stayed in, especially for the price. The location is super convenient (right by the Hauptbahnhof), but that does mean there’s some rail noise outside. Check-in was a breeze, the room was spacious and spotless, and the bathroom was huge, clean, and had an incredible shower.
