ita not the best in KK. go to the hostels near city centre this one is just too far off and not that much perfect to make up for that

Area: close to a large mall so convenient for shopping + food Security: code at main entrance + keys for rooms Facilities: it is a tiny space with some rooms almost in the common area (tiny) so can hear everything if someone’s talking There’s some free breakfast with white bread and spreads, tea and coffee Laundry is available for around 10 MYR Staff is nice and helpful, especially with late check-in and information on what to do in KK

This was a great hostel for a short stay in the area if you don’t mind not having a curtain. However they have a bed bug issue that needs to be resolved.

Very nice hostel best one we stayed at in KK, not a huge amount of room but that gave it a nice homely feel to it.

The beds in the female dorm are great. The other female guests in the room were very considerate and friendly. Good location. The downside is that It’s very small so there’s only one table and one small couch for anyone to sit on. Not everyone can be in that area at once and a guy was sleeping on the couch in the day and during the night so that little entire area was not usable. I think because the cleaning staff let me in I had no idea about breakfast and in the morning there was no si...

Overall good. But they should have more toilets and showers. It is a very small place, not necessarily a bad thing.

The cleanest most modern feeling hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly to us and the room was immaculate. Free towels, great showers, plenty of bathrooms. Great central location. I wish we had stayed here our whole time Kota Kinabalu. Thanks team

Now that hostels have become an industry, this hostel breaks that. it was what a hostel used to be. I highly recommend it

This might be the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed, super lovely and helpful staff, big dorm, good common areas. Sociability depends a little on the other guests

Honestly the best hostel I’ve stayed in. I was in a double pod with my partner and we felt we had privacy even in a room with 5 other beds. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, we arrived very early and they allowed us in our room far before check in. We loved it so much we stayed here twice.

For this solo female traveller, Faloe was the perfect place! Folks were very respectful of the quiet hours (10pm-8am) and staff was incredibly helpful in every way. They really take pride in this place and it shows in the cleanliness and details. Amazing hostel! The owners/staff are SO friendly and helpful. They helped us book tours, answered questions, and overall made us feel super welcome. The hostel is very clean, and in a great location. It's social too. Our group had a wonderful time staying here!
