Frendz Resort & Hostel Boracay

5 nights debited from the card instead of the 2 booked, lack of any helpfulness or understanding. Rooms below average. Strong recommendation to avoid this hostel. There are many much nicer places to stay without being scammed.

Sorry but during my stay, this is a motel. I requested a transfer to another room because I didn't felt safe. And the room I transferred on also has dudes having sex. I went to Boracay to get some rest but I ended up restless. I didn't felt safe at all so I had to checked out early. I think that's the price I paid.

Some of the staffs were rude and unaccomodating! People at the bar really know how to discrminate!

The bed had ants crawling all over it, woke up with bedbug bites all over my legs&back. The bathroom was very smelly and had mold. I stayed here in July 2023.

Very disappointed with our stay here. Booked it after our stay in Frendz El Nido, however they are no where near similar. Very run down and located near a derelict building site. Would not recommend.

Un des pires hostels que j’ai vu en 10 mois de voyage… Les salles de bains étaient dégoûtantes, il y avait des gros moustiques à l’intérieur et le soir un cafard géant se promenait dans le couloir. On aurait dit un immeuble délabré. Surtout le bâtiment avec les chambres. C’était vraiment impossible pour moi de rester plus d’une nuit et heureusement j’ai pu me faire rembourser une des deux nuits que j’avais réservée en avance.

Wow. I had an amazing time here at Frendz Hostel. This was the best hostel I’ve ever been to. Made so many new friends on the tours I went with Haqqy Life, partnered with the Hostel. I will be going back, I will be staying at Frendz again.

I liked being in the upstairs room where I had my own bed and no bunk. I felt like the rooms were clean, but I opted to use the bathroom in the common area as the one in the room smelled awful and was not very clean. Hostel tried to be social but it was kind of an odd vibe.

Great hostel and staff, the activities could be better we ended up leaving a lot of the nights but over a good spot

Amazing hostel personnel and amazing people there! Shared bathroom were clean, there were some night activities and the food was good.

Friendly staff and lots of karakoe- lots of the locals attend in the evening and which is nice. Beds were comfy and a short walk to the beach and restaurants - would stay again / recommend to others. Also security in the evenings

It’s located in a very dodgy alley not really safe for a solo traveller.There was no aircon in our room even after complaining 3 days in a row. The drinks and food are quite expensive. Unfortunately there isn’t many pros to being a guest at the hostel due to anyone being able to walk in, usually older men or locals being on the pool table. I’d recommend booking somewhere a lot nicer for similar price and if you’re keen to meet people and party then just head on over in the evening

Very social hostel, great for meeting people. Lots of good activities and tours. Staff were great and beds were nice. Good location right in the centre close to the nightlife.

Loved it. The vibes. The location the activities the people the staff. Everything. I don’t see one thing wrong. Love it and miss it
