Local Hostel Manaus

The dorm room is hot like an oven when the AC is not on, however when asking the staff to turn on the AC, they said it can only be on between 5 pm to 9 am which is not mentioned on the ad. I left after 2 nights and found myself a nice hotel room near by with AC 24 hrs, private bathroom and TV fridge and including breakfast for just 120 R. so basically for the same amount of money I get a nice room in hotel instead of a bed in a dorm. (This hostel charge 25 for breakfast)

Das Personal war nicht sehr hilfreich wie man es sonst von Hostels gewohnt ist — die Atmosphäre war generell nicht sehr freundlich. Dafür ist die Lage echt super und gilt als sicher. Die Ausstattung ist in Ordnung und das Frühstück hat eine sehr große Auswahl und ist lecker (bis auf den Kaffee). Es ist ein bisschen überteuert für das was man bekommt, vor allem im Vergleich zu Hotels in der Nähe.

Staff was not friendly , the only good person here is BRUNA. no hospitality , you cannot check in early. I asked for a bottom bunk and they refused to put me in the other room where no one was staying just because nobody else was in that room. I asked to switch to a private and they wanted to charge me more then online. Stay somewhere else if you want friendly , welcoming staff.

Ich war da für 3 Nächte und dazwischen habe ich eine Dschungeltour gemacht. Das Hostel bietet netterweise die Gepäckaufbewahrung währendessen an. Allerdings wird der Gepäckraum/ die Schränke nicht verschlossen. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, die Straße wo das Hotel ist, ist sehr dreckig, und man fühlt sich nicht wirklich sicher wenn man das rausgeht. Trotzdem scheint für die verhältnisse in Manaus das Hostel einer der besten zu sein

Great hostel to base yourself for any Amazon trips. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The room was clean.

The location is great, close to the center and in a safe area, which is a big plus. However, the hostel itself isn’t very social and doesn’t organize any activities, so it’s not the best place to meet other travelers. The staff weren’t particularly friendly, though Ikata was amazing, super nice, chill, and always made an effort to help. She definitely stood out during my stay.

The Ac is way too cold

Really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is great (30 RS). Tours can be booked in the hostel as well. Totally recommend

Such a lovely little hostel. Very close to everything and the staff were phenomenal.

Stayed here as a stop over going to/from the Amazon. The breakfast they offer is good. We did our washing there as well. The staff was very accommodating letting me take out items I didn’t want to dry. Beds are comfortable, have outlets in the space. Lockers for your personal items. Vibes weren’t that social. A lot of people were in groups & very in/out since this is a main Amazon stop over. The area is very close to downtown sights if interested in exploring Manaus. Very clean!

Loved my stay here! The hostel is centrally located and had everything I needed. Staff were very nice and helpful, specially the gentleman, whose name I forgot, that worked afternoon shifts when I was there. Bed was comfortable and there are privacy curtains. The breakfast is not included but is worth the price, big variety and high quality. The only negative is that they turn the AC off during the day, so it’s impossible to stay in your room between 9:00-4:00ish because Manaus is extremely ho...

Os funcionários são super amigáveis e solícitos em ajudar, as camas tem total privacidade com a cortina e também com tomada e luz, super perto do centro e dos pontos principais da cidade. Os banheiros já possuem shampoo e sabonete líquido, e também é possível alugar toalhas e cadeado para guardar as coisas, com certeza voltaria a me hospedar lá!

The hostel is in the very centre of Manaus, really close to a beautiful square with theatre, live music and many restaurants. The beds are comfortable and the lobby is spacious. I also had a great time going on a tour in the jungle with the travel agency affiliated to the hostel. The staff is generally helpful, however no activities are organised for the guests: socialising and getting tips on what to do in town is up to you. Sehr gut, Sehr schöne Unterkunft, grosse Badezimmer, gute Ausstattung, sehr sehr freundliches Personal, sehr grosses und umfassendes Frühstücksbuffet alles super würde immer wieder kommen
