The property needs to give a warning on Hostelworld that the music is so loud that it is like living in a rave. It also needs to warn about the constant cigarette and pot smoke in the kitchen and dining areas. I have stayed in a lot hostels, but not one where the staff is so oblivious, that guests are allowed to be inconsiderate toward other guests all night long! Sleep is not valued at this hostel!

Had two items stolen off me in front of cameras but unfortunately it was 'too sunny' for the cameras to pick up anything. I did really enjoy the people, beds and ping pong table!

I am a Mexican-American who stayed at this establishment only to have my thing stolen. May 2025.

We got ROBBED inside our dorm and the staff did nothing about it! Worse, they even protected the robbers by saying that they’d been staying at the hostel for months and a half and nothing happened before. As if that would be a valid argument… There were SO many things WRONG with this hostel, but the lack of security was astounding. DON’T stay here even if it’s the cheapest option in town. Anybody can just come in and leave as they please and the staff doesn’t care at all.

Pas cher, certes, mais ça pue le rat crevé. 2 nuits grand max, après c’est la survie. Propreté douteuse : chambre de 12 lits avec salle de bain façon bunker crasseux. Pas de touristes, surtout des travailleurs, ambiance malsaine : regards lourds, zéro convivialité. Bruit constant entre le chien qui aboie et certains client sans aucune considération pour le sommeil des autres. Mention spéciale au staff du bar : désagréables et hautains. Mieux vaut payer plus et trouver mieux.

Refugio de adictos que no dejan dormir a nadie toman hasta amanecer gritando con música a todo volumen hasta media noche y todo el día, no tienes como descansar, tremendamente agresivos si te quejas , clientes salen de ahí molestos incluso riñas en pleno lobby y los recepcionistas no les dicen nada,, amenazas, hostigamiento, roban la comida, etcétera casa del terror

DO NOT STAY HERE! The reviews are all lies. The hostel is full of strange locals and homeless people. Never felt so unsafe in my life. Tried to leave but it was too late and night to go out. The place is a mess and was woken up at 7am to someone trashing the hostel and this went on for over an hour. Extremely dangerous for females

I don’t understand the good rating AT ALL. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone! I don’t even know where to start with all the stuff that was really not good at all. 1) you don’t even get a tour from the hostel, they literally only give you a paper with some infos when u arrive. 2) the kitchen has NOTHING & you have to pay if you wanna use things. 3) the blanket was non-existent and it was freezing in the dorm. 4) Wi-Fi didn’t work in the dorm. 5) very weird vibe 6) super loud dor...

not much equiped. not all are traveling almost are living there . it's good for one night not more

Wow, where do I begin with this one.. I guess Ill start by saying you get what you pay for an after a day or two I got used to it. Very strange atmosphere and aesthetic but they keep this outdated looking place pretty clean. My bed wasnt made for me when I arrived and there was no water to drink so you always have to go out just to stay hydrated which really should be the bare minimum standard for a hostle. The showers are hot and the beers are cheap. Not so great, not so bad.. but cheap AF so

There was no hot water in the showers, which isn’t ideally for winter in CDMX. Also, despite my dorm room being consistently locked, I was told there weren’t any keys available. I literally had to ask someone from the front desk to come upstairs and open the door for me every time I wanted to enter my room. Aside from that it was fine, relatively clean, near the metro and a mall, has curtains and outlets for each bed.

I wouldn't stay more than a few nights. My last stay there, they closed the kitchen for 3 days, there was no drinking water, and the toilets rarely had tissue. It's cheap for a reason.

Ya me he hospedado en este hostal. Los recepcionistas mientras menos contacto visual hagan, mejor. Les preguntas sobre cosas locales y ni te sugieren nada, super indiferentes, cero servicio. En cuanto a limpieza, los bañso siempre estan sucios. 2 noches no hubo agua para bañarse. La ubicación es buenas y pues mucho por quejarse hasta cierto punto pues por lo que pagas no es que puedas exigir demasiado. Aunque la estancia pasada fue mucho mejor, la recepcionista era mas linda y limpieza bien.

Way too many things were not working.

Staff was kind. I spend Christmas Eve here. We had a fun little party on the roof top. My bed was uncomfortable and you have to make it yourself. That was a little odd. They have gym so that’s rad. Overall if you need a cheap place to go, it’s solid. My cigarettes did get stolen when I left them out for about three minutes

No hay absolutamente nada para comer (ni cubiertos ni platos). El agua de la ducha a veces sale muy fría. Hace mucho frío en las habitaciones y las camas no son muy cómodas, pero son privadas, punto positivo. El hostal está bien, pero no es nada del otro mundo. El personal a veces es un poco arisco con las respuestas, ya que llegamos y habíamos hecho una reserva de 4 personas en la misma habitación, pero decidieron separarnos sin darnos ninguna justificación. La ubicación está muy bien.

Gran lugar para ir, personal amigable, las instalaciones pueden mejorar pero no están nada mal, bien aseadas y con mobiliario suficiente

Staff was super friendly and helpful. I would only ask for a water refill station (honestly they might have had one, I didn’t ask) and maybe a few tables and better chairs in the outdoor area

Tiraron mi ropa a la basura y sólo me dijeron lo siento ,esto es realmente inaceptable

Al momento de hacer check in no me dieron la llave de mi habitacion y no me dijeron, tuve que ir la mañana siguiente a pedirlo y me dijeron que no tenían y que vuelva dentro de 1 hora, volvi y habia otro recepcionista que parecia no saber nada de la llave de nuevo, se lo pidio a otra persona y creo que no tenian suficiente, me dijo “te la doy pero me la devuelves mañana?”, o sea, soy un huesped, no me esta haciendo un favor, ellos deberian tenerlo contemplado. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good, solid hostel. Comfortable beds with curtains, nice hot showers, central location, and very affordable. Could be a little cleaner but overall, I have no complaints. It's hilarious to read the negative reviews. People want to spend 150 pesos but get the hotel experience.
