+ Ellos no describen la realidad de sus cuaprtos muestran y ofrecen balcon para los cuartos y en realidad son parte de la sala privada de los dueños del local y no explican la verdad de la situacion no muestran su realidad en booking..son mentirosos.

+ The location is great, right on the lake
- The lock on our room door was broken so we couldn’t lock our room. Our room was right on the main walk way where everyone walks past so didn’t feel like our belongings were safe in the room. We notified the staff who said that the lock has been broken for a while and they are waiting for a new lock to arrive but it’s taking a while. So the room was advertised and we were able to book it online with a broken lock. We originally booked 2 nights but left after the first to check into another place with a door that locked. The room should not have been advertised online in the first place.

- Personeel was redelijk afwezig. Wanneer honden in de tuin poepten ruimden ze dit niet op. Zwemvesten roken naar kattenpis en ontbijt was zeer mager. Ook werd er de hele dag geklust en getimmerd. Heel onrustig.

+ Lovely location right on the lake. Good price and so you get what you pay for! A quick stop over en route to the airport in Managua to fly out to Corn Islands and didn't want to stay in the big city, less than an hour from Coco to the airport for a reasonable price (taxi arranged by the hotel)
- Had a few issues, however the staff were very quick to try and help out. -my door wouldn't close and / or lock with my key but they sorted it out after a while (but I couldn't leave my room until it was mended) -you could see into my room through the curtains when my light was on (rectified with a make-shift bedsheet hanging off rail) -felt very exposed as my room was right on the main walkway up and down to the lake so everyone looked straight in... (fine if you expect this and don't mind!), in future if I stay again I would book one of the darker wooden looking rooms - these are on the first floor with their own little balcony, so you still get the views but not the people walking straight past
+ We stayed in the larger bedroom with a private terrace with a hammock that overlooked the property which was nice. .
- First we got the wrong room so we had to complain. The room was dark and dirty. Some bugs in the room.
+ Close to the lake, nice views from the room. Staff very friendly and gentle.
- Horrible mattress, small room, no aircon, room too close to reception and little privacy. Too big the balcony, too small the room. Breakfast very limited and no options. Restaurant expensive. The food comes from the nearby Paradiso Hostel. Kitchen closes at 6.30pm. Many people come just for a day visit and makes the beach overcrowded.

Hostel très bien situé aux bord du Laguna de apoyo. Bon rapport qualité/ prix. Le dortoir est confortable, bien qu’il fasse très chaud et humide la nuit. Le site est agréable, plusieurs chaises, hamacs, quai dans l’eau. Les déjeuners sont bons et copieux. Le personnel est très sympathique et aidant.
Hostel very well located on the edge of the Laguna of support. Good price/quality ratio. The dormitory is comfortable, although it is very hot and humid at night. The site is pleasant, several chairs, hammocks, water dock. The lunches are good and generous. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
LOOOVE! What a beautiful place! Not social, but really a place to relax in incredible nature, a social environment might have destroyed that vibe
J'ai beaucoup aimé mon expérience à Coco bay! Les chambres étaient confortables et propres. La plage est superbe, en plus du quai et des chaises (au soleil et à l'ombre). Tranquille le soir. Cela m'a permis de vraiment décrocher et relaxer. Bon déjeuner avec belle vue sur le lac. Je retourne à cet hostel sous peu pour en profiter encore un peu!
I really enjoyed my experience in Coco bay! the rooms were comfortable and clean. the beach is superb, plus the pier and chairs (in the sun and shade). quiet in the evening. this allowed me to really unwind and relax. good breakfast with beautiful lake view. i will be returning to this hostel soon to enjoy it a little more!
This place is amazing! I think it’s so underrated. You hear of most people going to Paradiso. But maybe that’s why this place is so good because it’s more chill? So worth staying a night in a private room. The price is so good for how nice the room is (you have a balcony with hammock) and the fact you can use the facilities for two days with one night stay. Staff are wonderful and really friendly. Food is yummy. So relaxing. I could’ve stayed a week.
Good stay at Coco Bay to enjoy Laguna de Apoyo. Lovely to be able to go from the room to the water in less than a minute. The room got very hot at night and the fans on out beds didn’t work, so the night was somewhat uncomfortable.

Perfect place to relax! Loved their beach and kayak rental (included in your stay!). The rooms were okay, so was the breakfast - with a great view of the bay. Very peaceful and relaxing
+ El hostal es muy bonito, da al lago, es cómodo, está limpio, se organizan actividades diarias, está bien equipado. Además tiene buen desayuno, normalmente típico. Ofrece kayaks gratuitos con los que se puede ir por la laguna. El personal y los voluntarios son muy agradables.
- Las opciones para comer y comprar son un poco limitadas en la zona. Tanto el hostal como la comida son algo caras para los precios del país, aunque creo que está justificado. Ojalá se pudieran usar los kayaks un poco más pronto por la mañana, antes de que el viento se vuelva más fuerte.

- Le fait que rien n’est précisé sur les marches à monter et descendre si vous êtes septuagénaires ça devient difficile ou si vous avez des difficultés à marcher le préciser sur l’annonce
A nice hostel to stay for 1 night in Laguna de Apoyo, really relaxing but still nice activities to do together
+ First time staying at CocoBay and my expectations were exceeded. The staff was so kind and friendly. Food was good too! Everything was smooth and they even accommodate us with breakfast in our last day. (We had to leave earlier and they did an exception to serve us before we left. Amazing!
- I wish the beach would be bigger but it's a nice beach and usually not a lot of people.
+ I stayed for one night and I think it’s my favourite hostel that I’ve stayed in :) I was in a mixed dorm with 10 beds but slept very well, very clean and comfortable large single bed 👍 Lovely pancakes for breakfast and great view of the lake with lots of places to sit.
- It would have been nice if the shared kitchen had an organic waste bin , to make it more environmentally friendly
