- The place is rickety and falling apart, no way to cool it on hot days, so it's stifling hot, you can hear everything that's happening in the hostel as no insulation for noise. Staff were generally rude and unhelpful except for the manager who tried to address our problems. The bed was not a double despite booking a double room - just a lumpy full-size bed. The private rooms are the size of a closet. The toilet wouldn't flush properly, the shower wouldn't get hot. They want to charge you for bag storage even if you booked a night before and a night after trekking. I honestly don't have anything good to say about this place.
The 14 dorm a storage room that they changed into a room for extra money. There is a sign on the door that says private don’t enter and a padlock. The walls are crumbing. The beds are so rickety and very noisy. They also don’t have ladders so it’s a bit sketchy to get to the top bunk and you have to put your foot on someone else’s bed. Renting this room without posting any photos online or on the site is misleading. The lady who checked me said I would have to pay more for a bottom bunk.
Si vous voulez dormir, l’endroit est déconseillé, par contre pour faire la fête pas de souci. Très mauvaise isolation des chambres et musique très forte jusqu’à tard. La chambre était plutôt bien et la salle de bain correcte. Il y a de l’eau chaude par contre l’eau était tellement brûlante (robinet d’eau froide ne fonctionnait pas) qu’on est obligé de se brûler pour se laver!
10 bed is 16 bed. Door off hinges. No wifi in room. There’s another door in room that leads out onto the main street, is accessible from the street and doesn’t lock?! All bunk beds have no ladders or side bars. Room is crumbling and has a bucket to catch leaking ceiling water. Bathroom is mouldy downstairs and remaining toilets are often without paper or soap. Bedrooms upstairs better but not ideal as loud and doors squeak. Breakfast and staff nice but kitchen has ridiculous hours.
+ Het ontbijt was goed met iedere ochtend scramble eggs. Ook de locatie is goed.
- Het was druk, lawaaierig en onhygiënisch. Het personeel is drukker met feestjes hosten dan met het hostel runnen. Er zijn te weinig douches. Er was niet altijd warm water. Bijna elke wc zit ook bij een douche waardoor je soms niet naar de wc kan. Je kan je telefoon niet opladen bij je bed.
Very few bathrooms. The 14 man / 10 man room look like prison cells. I heard someone got their stuff robbed that week. Breakfast was very good as it had eggs and fruit and pretty sociable.
+ El alojamiento incluye desayuno; aunque es muy normalito y sencillo, se agradece el detalle. Los baños compartidos estaban en buen estado y la ubicación es correcta. Hay zona de parking justo enfrente del alojamiento, aunque es de pago (tipo OTA/zona regulada), lo cual resultó cómodo al ir con coche.
- La habitación era un "cuarto oscuro" diminuto. Mi novio mide 1,85 m y literalmente no cabía ni en el cuarto ni en la cama. Fue una estancia muy agobiante. No nos pusieron ni toallas; tuvimos que ir a pedirlas nosotros porque, si no, no nos las daban. La cama era pequeña y el espacio tan reducido que no lo recomendaría a nadie que necesite un mínimo de comodidad.
Was situated next to the common area so I was not able to sleep until 02:00 because this is definitely a party hostel. It that’s your vibe, it’s fine, but for those not looking to party every night I don’t recommend it. The showers were gross and my bed was dirty when they showed it to me. For the rest, the staff was kind and the kitchen was nice. They have a good outdoor area

- Leider zieht der Wind durch das ganze Hostel, sodass die Türen davon Nachts klappern und zuschlagen. Die Duschen wurden nicht richtig warm oder es kam fast kein Wasser, was mit dem Wind natürlich noch viel schlimmer wirkte.

This place was super cute, great location, and a really good social vibe! I will say I would only recommend staying in the 6 bed dorm as the 14 bed dorm is noticeably a lot less nice with rickety beds and few outlets

The good - good location, pretty social and friendly staff. However, the facilities are pretty lacking - beds uncomfy and the bathroom/shower situation is dire. I find when there is a lot of workers/volunteers in a small hostel it can make the vibe a bit weird for the guests and I think that happened here - you feel like you’re in their space a bit. Would probably stay elsewhere
The property is in a great location, close to the main st, lovely beds and wonderful staff, would recommend
No need to look any further in Bariloche. Such a cozy place to stay with amazing energy and community. Vibes here are on point. Social but not a party hostel. Good music, great kitchen (everything you need, even have sharp knives ha), solid brekkie, the best staff (so friendly and helpful), perfect location. Can’t fault it. Enjoy your stay :)
Had an awesome week at this hostel. Great social spot to meet other travellers and is located close to bus stops to explore town and the surrounding areas. They have a really nice group of volunteers too. Thank you Aku!

We had a great time, especially the hike to Pico Turista we did with Rubén was amazing! Only down Part is that the kitchen gets quite crowded and our bed was super shaky so you couldn’t turn without waking up the other person you shared the bunk with…

great hostal - couldn’t recommend a hostal more than this one! sure, they need to do some renovation but the staff is so kind and genuinely interested in you having a comfortable stay. i met some great people there, the vibes are amazing!

Personeel (met name Ruben) is super behulpzaam en zorgzaam. Gezellige mensen en de sfeer was goed. Keuken is ruim maar nog steeds chaotisch als er veel mensen zijn. Instructies zijn om afwas zelf af te drogen maar er zijn nooit droge theedoeken in de keuken. De badmatjes in de badkamers moeten ook echt vaker worden vervangen, die zijn een bron van bacteriën. De bedden maken veel krakend geluid. ‘s avonds is er tot vrij laat muziek.

Very social hostel with good cooking facilities and outside space. However we booked for a 4 bed dorm and they put us in a 7 bed which was a shame. Not all the beds have plugs by them and the bathroom floor was always wet. Nevertheless we did enjoy our stay and would recommend to travellers.
The location was close to the bus stop. The guests & staff were very nice and the breakfast was good: eggs, bread, cake, jelly, dulce de leche, coffee and tea and oranges. I liked the wooden look of the hostel, it made me feel like I’m in a mountain hut. It was a plus that you receive a towel for free. The only thing I would complain about, is that our door didn’t close completely (Cerro Otto). One nights it was a bit noisy until after 11 am, but I think its because it was somebody s birthd...
Hostel parfaitement situé dans le centre de Bariloche, l’ambiance sur place est hyper familiale, l’équipe aux petits soins et serviable. Je recommande vivement !
Excelente lugar para pasar como en casa. Tienen parking para moteros y su atmósfera es única! Muy buena ubicación.
