Wow, das perfek Hostel! Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist wahnsinnig lecker! Betten bequem und alles ist sehr sauber. Ich habe es dort geliebt und wollte gar nicht mehr weg und bin länger geblieben als geplant. Man kann super entspannen, auch bei Regen gibt es genug Platz zum Entspannen und man kann fußläufig schöne Ausflüge machen.

I had a great and chilled stay at Black Pearl Hostel. It's in the middle of nature and perfect to relax. The food is great and the staff super nice and helpful. I forgot my jacket in the hostel and they sended it to me, thanks for that! :-) Beds are also really comfortable!

Perla negra is an oasis of peace situated right next to the river, where you can swim and enjoy the quietness of the surroundings. There are wild birds everywhere, sometimes monkeys in the morning on the trees, and the owner has two dogs, one horse and ducks that are free roaming around the property (you can pet the horse and the dogs!). The mattresses in the dorms are huuuuge and very comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious (vegetarian as well!) and the owner super nice.

Loved this hostel so much, the staff are so welcoming and friendly and ensure everyone has food each day as it is a bit remote to town, but it has the most stunning private river access that I could spend all day at, so tranquil & beautiful. I injured myself during my stay and the staff went above and beyond to help me seek medical attention & helped with insurance. 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely loved it here! The private stretch of river was one of the most beautiful, relaxing places I've ever been. Would have been nice to have access to a kitchen, but the food was delicious and everything was great otherwise!

de loin le meilleur hostel que l’on ai fait ! un super accueil, un cadre magnifique, une rivière juste en bas, des plats maison juste excellents ! on recommande !!!

Tuve la mejor experiencia aquí. La habitación es super cómoda, los baños están muy limpios y la zona es preciosa. Hay hamacas para descansar y un río privado donde puedes pasar el día. El servicio fue 10/10, y la comida es súper rica!!!!Me hubiera gustado quedarme mucho más tiempo aquí, el lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Amazing spot, couldn’t recommend more highly. So peaceful with the private river and other nearby swimming spots/waterfall hikes. Great food at good prices on site too

Safe heaven for a few days away from the city, this place just feels good. +++ Cared for nature, dogs, horse, ducks. Right next to the river! Proactive communication with the owner. ++ Quality veggie kitchen! Quality dorms and showers. Easy access to San Rafael/Guatape/Medellin. - Depending on the cook, breakfast could be a bit dry and the coffee is generally cold, chocolate is better. -- Slow Internet (ok for video calls, not for browsing/download, but that's in the whole region).

I loved this place. Feels so remote but also on the main bus route, nearby waterfalls accessible on foot or by bus, food is excellent and reasonably priced, dorms are comfortable and clean, private river is beautiful. Perfect for a few days of peace.

C'est le meilleur hostel dans lequel je suis allé! L'emplacement est incroyable au bord de la rivière, c'est vraiment un oasis de paix avec tous les animaux. La nourriture est excellente, ils m'ont accommodé tout mon séjour pour mon alimentation sans gluten. J'aurais pu mettre 15 étoiles, c'est un lieu exceptionnel.

Beautiful hostel in a gorgeous area. The dorm room is nice and comfy, the food is great, the wifi is strong, the animals are super friendly (they have the most amazing horse), and the staff is ready to help with whatever you need. Highly recommended!

such an amazing spot, very peaceful nestled just outside San Rafael. the staff were so nice (and even posted some clothes I left there to Santa Marta for me) and the food also hit the spot. will be back when I'm in San Rafael for sure!
