Can Cocollona

Das Hostel war okay, aber nicht perfekt. Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig, vor allem im Badezimmer, das oft nass war, da die Fußmatte fehlte. Im Schlafzimmer war eine große Pfütze durch Regen oder Tauwasser. Zudem gab es einen Hund, was nirgendwo angegeben war – für Allergiker problematisch. Dies kann sehr unangenehm für Allergiker werden!! Die Stimmung war ruhig, kaum junge Leute, eher Arbeiter. Wer ein geselliges Hostel sucht, sollte sich woanders umsehen.

Terrible! Creepy & dirty. I booked in a 6-bed female only room, but when I arrived I was put in with five older men. The door had a gaping hole where the lock once was. Then it turned out they had double booked my bed and I had to leave. The only female dorm was a fully booked 4 bed dorm (the 6 bed female dorm advertised did not exist). There were no on-duty staff in the hostel, and the contact number was unreachable the whole time. We had to wake the off-duty staff, who were helpful.

The matress was really uncomfortable. Other than that, the hostel is okey. I will recommend finding one closer to the center.

This hostel is a house that’s been turned into a hostel and isn’t really big enough to accomodate so many adults. The rooms are cramped and feel old. I stayed in September and it was hot and humid and the windows needed to be kept open for ventilation however with no screens the rooms were full of mosquitos. The bathrooms were cramped, one shower door was Broken and there was nowhere to hang your towel or clothing when showering or in the room. Overall the whole place needed a good clean. It...

From the moment I walked in i didbt get a good vibe. Firstly, there is no A/C in any of the rooms, the door to the patio is always open so flies and mosquitoes are in your room. Two very noisy fans for six people is not adequate, very hard to sleep. Showers and toilets are in the same room, not enough for 16 people. After getting a terrible nights sleep, due to no air, I was woken up by an electrician in my room while ppl were asleep!? I checked out a right then a day early, it's not acceptable!

Kind but sometimes clueless staff. Most people were new volunteers that didn't know how things work and couldn't answer questions. Mosquitos were also a problem in rooms. Since there is no A/C must leave windows open but windows have no screens preventing Mosquitos from entering. Very good laid-back vibe and variety of people staying there. Close to train/bus station but far from most everything else in town.

La atención muy buena, y el ambiente estaba bien. La limpieza e higiene de los espacios deja que desear. La pieza en que estaba olía muy mal, y el colchón y la almohada también tenían mal olor. Cuando me asignaron la cama y me pasaron la sábana la almohada ya tenía funda, por lo que sospecho que no la cambiaron después de ser usada por el huésped anterior

I reserved a spot in a female dorm, but the first night it was just me and four men in the room. Otherwise, the hostel was cozy, the free breakfast and the staff were great.

Excellent. Wonderful staff. And I got breakfast extra early because I had to leave extra early. Ten out of ten. At least.

A really comfortable, homely place to stay. It’s very close to the train/bus station and I met some nice people. Breakfast in the morning was a nice addition! Would stay here again.

What a lovely hostel! It had a nice easy check in process, with very clear, well communicated instructions for late check in. I got a great night's sleep, and I like the fact it is so homely :)

Perfect hostel. The staff are brilliant & do so much for you. The beds are some of the best I’ve ever slept on in a hostel - very comfy & I loved the privacy curtain. I slept really well here. Location is great - just 5 minutes walk from the bus & train station & a 20 minute stroll into the old town. Highly recommended!

Honestly, such a lovely place to stay! It’s super cozy and like a real bedroom, and the female dorm had a lovely balcony that would’ve been great if it was warmer! And it was a great location for the train station to connect into the old town of Girona! The beds were super comfy the curtains were great, and the atmosphere generally was very calm and friendly ! Der Aufenthalt in Can Cocollona war ein ein Traum und das Geld absolut wert. Alles ist in einem kleinen, gemütlichen Haus mit Küche und Aufenthaltsraum. Durch die liebevolle Einrichtung, das Personal und die familiäre Athmosphäre, habe ich mich direkt wohl gefühlt und habe als Alleinreisende schnell andere Gäste kennengelernt. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich, meins hatte einen kleinen Balkon und alles war sauber. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben.

Tout était génial ! De loin, la meilleure auberge de mon expérience. L’accueil est chaleureux, les espaces propres, la décoration adorable. On s’y sent comme dans une maison familiale avec ses souvenirs accrochés aux murs. On était un dizaine quand j’y étais, ce qui était fantastique pour découvrir de nouvelles personnes dans une ambiance calme et bienveillante, loin des fêtes et soirées de grandes villes. L’auberge est proche de la vieille ville. Merci, tout était parfait !

I had a nice stay, the location is practical for the train station and about a 20 min walk to the old town. The walk went through a park outside the station which is well lit but also had a few drunk people yelling most hours of the day. The door to our dorm didn't shut properly which meant it was a little loud and bright during the night. Didn't have to wait for a shower and the breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. Price per night is fantastic, esp. in comparison to other places in Girona

Me gusto mucho esta hostal. La habia reservado mucho antes de llegar a España y me sorprendí y me agradecí por esta elección: 1. Reserve en una pieza de 4 solo mujeres y muy bien. Tenía un balconcito para dejar alguna prenda para secar (no es tan grande) y para salir a airearse y solo observar. Bello bello.
