Mi Atardecer en Tepoz, Hostal

Perfect place for resting and thats pretty much it. The bathroom near the dorms is for women only.. and the "mixed" ones don't even have a mirror, couldn't even shave there.. Host made us pay for drinking water? 1st time I saw that.. This hostel should be for women only, as a man I felt like I was just disturbing their peace.. No alcool allowed at all. Terrasse closes at 10 and had to smoke a cig in front of the street I would not go back there if I had to.

The hostel was cute and had potential, but we were the only guests so there was no atmosphere. There was also no water in the shower or in the water taps, so I had to shower with bucket of water. In the morning we found a bed bug from the bed, but didn’t have bites or find more bugs so seems to be quite recent. The lady who lives there was very helpful and the location was perfect.

Very clean place like spotless. Hot water and a beautiful roof top view. Very functional kitchen and a alcohol free place. Not for families or kids. Very centrally located. An extremely attentive hostess. We found it hard to sleep because our room was a little to hot with a fan and the window and door open. However it was in the beginning of the hot season and we were in a small private room.

Friendly staff, but facilities need .an upgrade, gass stove was not working very well. Dogs barking at night, with room next to the road sleeping was tricky. Staff was friendly and cleaned very well.

El lugar es sencillo pero bonito. Pero no nos gustó que la señora que nos atendió era súper estricta. Éramos los únicos huéspedes y a pesar de que en sus reglamentos decía que la terraza la cerraban 10:30 fue a sacarnos a las 10:15. Apagó la luz del pasillo que daba al baño y nos hizo sentir muy incómodos con su actitud, como si fuéramos un par de adolescentes malcriados. Eso le bajó puntos porque el lugar es bonito y está bien ubicado pero a la señora le faltó eso mismo.

La ubicación es excelente, pero la calle está llena de tierra, por ende la terraza siempre tuvo mucho polvo. No hubo agua un rato y mi compañera se tuvo que bañar con una botella de agua. Yo me bañé con agua muy fría. El Wifi funcionó muy bien. La estancia en la terraza tristemente es limitada.

I had the dorm and bathroom to myself; if I was sharing I think maybe there was not enough space in the dorm and maybe bathroom would have a queue. I didn’t get a warm shower, but maybe I didn’t allow the water to run long enough to obtain heat. It is a convenient location to zocolo and includes the noise one should expected in the central area. The host was friendly!

A really nice location in the centre of Tepoztlán. The hosts are very kind and welcoming and run a spa on the side if you’re interested! Rooms are nice and kitchen has all utilities you need. Especially the rooftop is amazing for a beautiful sunrise and sunset! Due to the season (January) it was really quiet, but that was the case in the whole town. Would definitely recommend!

The owner is so incredibly kind and helpful! The hostel itself has a good kitchen and the beds are comfortable. It’s location is also in the centre so it’s easy to get around.

Lovely location, super close to zocalo and market. Great views from the terrace.

Amazing staff would will personally take care of you, incredible value for what you get, and great location! The town itself is awesome too!

The owners were great and made the place feel like home. There’s an amazing view from the terrace, and everything is within walking distance.

A nice humble hostel in Tepoztlan. The staff are so nice and I loved the rooftop. I spent a very relaxing 3 nights here and really enjoyed how central it was. You can get to the mercado central in 5min and the cathedral and the plaza in 10min walking. Highly recommend!

La habitación privada, es excelente, cómoda, de buen tamaño y muy acogedora. Las áreas comunes son lindas, la cocina bien equipada y la terraza es espectacular. Mi única queja es que hay pocos baños en el hostal para la capacidad que tiene el mismo.

Isabel and Fransisco are super nice and such a cute couple. Treat them with respect and they will help you with everything!

Hice una reserva por 2 noches en el hostal, pero decidí quedarme por una semana. El espacio está muy limpio y ordenado. Y tiene una terraza con una vista hermosa! La anfitriona, Berenice, es muy agradable y me dio muchas recomendaciones de Tepoztlán! Gracias por la experiencia hermosa ✨💜

Beautiful views in a central location. Super friendly, and I loved the local guided trips. Can't recommend this enough! (just pack bug spray)
