Cuando reservé a través de las especificaciones del hostel indica que tienen recepción 24 horas (info que me llegó a mi correo también). Llegamos, nunca nadie nos abrió la puerta. También, tardan mucho tiempo en contestar el whatsapp, y las llamadas previo a llegar, y que fueron varias, nunca contestaron. Por tanto, nos tocó dormir en la calle. Mienten en la información que ponen sobre el hostel. Para qué dicen que tiene 24 hrs recepción sino van abrir la puerta? Muy mal.
Overall, it was a great stay! It is located 10 minutes away from the historical centre, Carlos makes you feel right at home. The hostel is clean and has hot showers. The atmosphere is friendly and cosy. The room that I stayed was quite small even for 3 people but apart from that everything was great!
Un hospedaje super chevere ! Los chicos son super amables, la localización perfecta y todo muy limpio. La cocina y los baños son perfectos también!
Nice staff and social atmosphere. A basic kitchen to use (just not between 7-10am as they serve breakfast). Just the dorms have no opening windows or skylights with no curtains, which we really struggled with.
Cool hostel with very social vibe, run by friendly volunteers. The 3 bed dorm is very small but that way you really get to know your roommates well :) Kitchen equipment could be better and lights in the bathrooms just function my motion sensor which can be a bit annoying. Location is close to everything you need and price was fair.
Sehr familiäres Hostel. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das private Zimmer was ich hatte war super, hatte sogar einen eigenen Balkon mit Hängematte. Tolle Preis-Leistungs verhältnis. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
Un séjour plus que magnifique au Veci Hostel ! Des volontaires qui font vivre la maison et qui sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes et de très bons conseils. Des ateliers confections d'arepas y sont proposés et des sorties en ville pour s'imprégner de la vie locale sont possibles. Chaque volontaire fait en sorte que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous ! Bien plus qu'hostel, c'est une vraie famille ! Je reviendrai vous voir c'est certain ! Allez-y les yeux fermés vous n'aurez plus envie de ...
Really nice staff, yummy breakfast! The hostel has activities you can partake in which was fun. Only thing to keep in mind is that the hostel is very small (only room for like 15 people) so it’s not crazy social
Nous avons passé un super séjour dans l’hostel. Merci à toute l’équipe pour sa gentillesse, de conseils et ses animations diverses et variées. Nous garderons un super souvenir de vous tous 😘

super chill and nice hostel
My highlight was the nice social areas that make it convenient to interact with the others, and of course the amazing people I've met there. Also delicious breakfast!
Super nice hostel, 3mn walking from Villa de Leyva town center, located in a quiet street. Great value of equipment for its price, I could enjoy a real hot shower and equipped free to use kitchen. Plus the mood of the volunteers and the place makes feel you like at home and helps to exchange with other travellers, we even had had a night out with the full hostel :) I would come back with no doubt, warmfull and relaxing stay.
