I have to say the worst hostel I've been to so far, I'm a Colombian digital nomad traveling my country, and the Staff got into my private room without my authorization, the reason? to turn off the AC because the owner wants to save the planet. Also, they charged me for some beverages I never had during the checkout. If you wanted to save the planet, you would have made a more sustainable design with ceiling fans instead of AC. I advise you this from 6 years of expertise in sustainable construct...
We got a reservation, but when we arrived they said there are full and we had to sleep in a hammocks. Also we saw a lot of people coming after us and get there beds and dorms. We can’t recommend the hostel
I’m not sure why this hostel has a high score as it’s incredibly basic and low standard. The location is far from the sea front, shops and restaurants, the rooms are very basic and dated, with no warm water. The breakfast (optional) is expensive and not particularly good, other than the bread.
The aircon didn’t work and am pretty sure the owner was fully aware of this and made excuses. There was also a completely broken tap in the bathroom. I didn’t feel safe with the location of the hostel. Wouldn’t recommend walking back after dark from the beach even though the hostel owner said it was perfectly safe to do so.
Clean, nice and comfortable. Location is not ideal (though taganga is small so it’s not so bad) And the hostel is quite empty so not ideal for solo travelers.
Het hostel was schoon, fijn en mooi. Het eten was zeer goed! Personeel ook aardig. Wij waren 2 vrouwen en voelde ons niet op ons gemak in het plaatsje Taganga. Daarom zijn we eerder uitgecheckt dan we oorspronkelijk zouden blijven.
The hostel was clean, nice and nice. the food was very good! the staff was also friendly. we were 2 women and we didn't feel comfortable in Taganga place. so we checked out earlier than we originally planned to stay.
The hostel is about 6 Blocks from the main road, it has no pavement and if it rains you cannot get there without walking in ankle high dirt water and taxi drivers dont work on rainy days. dinner was bad, we had a Burger that tasted like old meat and a tuna sándwich, it was canned tuna even when the promissed it was fresh tuna, the room was ok and the air conditioner worked. The kitchen was dirty and smelled awful. The staff was rude when asking for coffee and tried to charge us extra 3 time
Staff is friendly, vibe is nice, and the pool is very needed! That being said, with the ratings it has, I felt a bit let down. The rooms + bathrooms are outdated and the bunks squeek and sway every time you move. Location wasnt great, no system for labeling food (so a lot just gets thrown out, and they just guess on which beds are clean/dirty (which im sure leaves room for error. I hope they can get more organized and update the rooms so that it can live up to what it once was!
Divanga Hostel is a nice place to visit Taganga. Personel is very friendly. I had a last minute chance of plans and was about to lose a night I paid in advance. Without any problems and with a smile they paid me back. That was a great experience. Thanks a lot for that.
Me quede en el hostal para ir a Tayrona, es un lindo hostal un poco descuidadas las instalaciones, cuando me recibió una chica francesa no me explico nada solo me dio mi toalla y me indico mi cuarto, después ya el staff las chicas colombianas amablemente me explicaron lo que había en el hostal como funcionaba. Es un hostal tranquilo para relajarse, lastima que la alberca tenía el agua muy turbia. La comida del restaurante es excelente.

The best hostel to stay for diving in Taganga! The dive masters were really knowledgable and friendly and Lucie the owner was so sweet, she made the hostel feel like a home away from home. Delicious food also!

I had a really great stay at Divanga Hostel in Taganga. The place has a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for chilling after a dive or a day at the beach, and the pool is a nice. It’s also very convenient to have the bar and restaurant on site, and I appreciated the guest kitchen which is practical if you want to cook your own meals. Taganga itself also felt safe to walk around, even in the evening.
Super expérience au Divanga !!! L’ambiance est vraiment géniale : conviviale, détendue et idéale pour rencontrer d’autres voyageurs. Le personnel est top, toujours souriant, accueillant et prêt à aider. Les espaces communs sont aussi très sympas pour se poser, discuter ou partager un moment avec les autres voyageurs. Bref, tout était au top !! Merci Divanga ✌🏽
Great experience at Divanga !!! The atmosphere is really great : friendly, relaxed and ideal for meeting other travelers. The staff is top notch, always smiling, welcoming and ready to help. The common areas are also very nice to pose, chat or share a moment with other travelers. in short, everything was top notch !! thank you Divanga ✌
Super nice hostel to stay in Taganga. The rooms are simple but nice. They have a nice pool and a good shared kitchen. Staff is very nice. I would recommend!

Divanga Hostel is a fantastic place to stay in Taganga. The food at the restaurant and the drinks at the bar were amazing. The location is perfect, close to the beach and everything in town, yet peaceful at night. The pool is a huge bonus (and a rarity here), especially after a hot day out. Lucie, the owner, is incredibly dedicated and welcoming, and you can really feel the care she puts into the place. I will be coming back for sure!

La ubicación es un poco alejada de la playa y el centro, lo que implica que de noche haya que caminar por las calles oscuras hasta el hostel, no se ve tan segura la zona. En cuánto al hostel, excelentes servicios, aunque no se informa bien al ingresar de los espacios comunes como el bar y la cocina. El hostel es muy tranquilo y cómodo.
The location is a bit far from the beach and the center, which implies that at night you have to walk through the dark streets to the hostel, the area does not look so secure. as for the hostel, excellent services, although you do not get well informed when entering the common areas such as the bar and kitchen. the hostel is very quiet and comfortable.
A lovely hostel with great hosts. Food was really nice and the location is great to walk to the beach, town and bars/supermarket etc The scuba dive facilities are great and they also offer snorkelling, and other activities. Highly recommend

super moment dans cet hostel ! le restau franco colombien est incroyable, le personnel hyper agreable et lendroit est incroyable ! A 2mint de la plage de ce petit village de de pecheur tout mignon et dune grande beauté. le club de plongé de lhostel est aussi au top ! la plongee et le snorkeling a taganga est vrmt top !! je recommande 200%%
super moment in this hostel ! the franco colombian restaurant is amazing, the hyper pleasant staff and lendroit is amazing ! a 2min from the beach of this small fishing village of de de pescador tout mignon and dune grande beauté. the diving club of lhostel is also at the top ! the diving and snorkeling in taganga is vrmt top !! i recommend 200%%

Lucie & her staff provided warm hospitality and caring service. And -- a first in my experience -- this hostel has the best food in town! Merci beaucoup.
Camas super cómodas, la piscina es un puntazo, el desayuno deja mucho que desear en cuanto a sabor aunque la cantidad esta muy bien. Al llegar no nos hicieron un tour del hostal ni nada y el check in se sintió como pobre y con poca info
The beds are super comfortable, the pool is a point, the breakfast leaves much to be desired in terms of taste although the quantity is very good. upon arrival we were not given a tour of the hostel or anything and the check in felt like poor and with little info
I really loved it there. Suche a cozy places, very social atmosphere and great food (with lots of vegetarian options). The staff is super helpful and friendly. And perfect location to go diving! Would definitely recommend!

Great hostel! Super friendly and helpful staff - they were able to organise a fun dive for my boyfriend and I with little notice. We were very appreciative as we were only staying two nights and so had limited opportunity to go diving. Nice chill atmosphere and delicious food - would definitely recommend :)
