Palio (Haad Rin) Hostel

Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Mould all over the floor in our room, a complete health hazard. Not a cleaner in sight, toilets and showers filthy. They turn the water off in the night so you can’t wash your hands, have a shower or flush the toilet. The key we were given for our room didn’t even open the door.

Disgusting hostel inside Muay Thai gym. Room had no ac and was dirty. Hostel filled with animals pretty sure were giving people flees. However its great location if going to full moon party

Schlecht Hostel schwer zu finden bin mit Sack und pack 1,1/2 std rum Gelaufe und habe es nicht gefunden. Dann bin ich einfach wo anderes ein gecheckt

In dem Zimmer waren in einem Spalt in der Wand Kakerlaken und das Bad sowie der Boden im Zimmer waren dreckig. Die Decke war eine Tagesdecke mit einem großen gelben Fleck drauf. Das Bad ist ein Gemeinschaftsbad, dass auch die Leute von der Thaiboxarena nutzen. Ansonsten war das Bett frisch bezogen und es wurde sogar ein Handtuch zur Verfügung gestellt. Wegen der Kakerlaken habe ich meinen Aufenthalt nach einer Nacht dort abgebrochen und bin in ein anderes Hostel gezogen.

Insgesamt waren wir 3 Nächte über Full Moon da. Es war sehr dreckig, wir hatten mehrfach Kakerlaken im Bad und im Bett. Über den gesamten Aufenthalt ging das Wasser im Waschbecken und die Toilettenspülung nicht, nur in der Dusche kam Wasser. Es gab keine Rezeption und die Kommunikation mit dem Personal war schwierig, da sie kein Englisch sprechen. Direkt neben dem Hostel befindet sich eine Boxarena, in welcher es auch sehr laut werden kann. Insgesamt ist nur die Lage von dem Hostel gut.

I stayed at this hostel only to be near the full moon party and it was perfect for that reason. Less than 10 min walk to the beach. Only reason getting 3 * made great friends and had good full moon ores at the hostel However everything else was not clean, very dingy and dark rooms, it had no reception or staff near.

Worst hostel. They must’ve overbooked and put me in some horrible building a 5 minute drive from the reception. Beds were filthy with blood stains. Very dirty and spooky atmosphere

De mensen die er werkten waren best apart en hadden geen idee waar m’n kamer zou moeten zijn. Ik ben eerst in een vage kamer gestopt waar mensen lagen te slapen. Das opzich niet erg, maar ik had een female only dorm geboekt en dit waren mannen. De tweede kamer was wel oké! Een bloedvlek op het bed was dan wel weer goor, maar ik had een laken bij. Vragen om nieuwe lakens zou denk ik niet begrepen worden aangezien het personeel nauwelijks Engels sprak. Ook was het door full moon vrij duur.

there was a cockroach in our room, the bedsheets were dirty, had to argue so they can find the remote for the air conditioning. our room was in a maui thai gymnasium. we booked 2 night and afterall we stayed 1/2 a night. the bed were so bad we could feel the spring in our back. half of every bed was busted.

It is nothing like the picture. Very dirty and our room was full of water because of the rain

es ist gar nicht wie auf den fotos. alles war voller spinnweben und es waren ameisen im bett. abgesehen von diesen faktoren war es eine nette unterkunft. super zentrall für die vollmondparty. der besitzer ist auch voll lieb und wir durften gratis bei einem muay thai fight dabei sein (sehr sehenswert!!) und das gym benutzen.

great gym! nice staff that will give you a muay thai lesson! super close to beach and walking street. was very social and convenient for full moon party!

Chose this spot because it’s close to the full moon party. Super good hostel for that and watching Muay Thai fights as the hostel is a gym. Bed was a bit dusty on arrival but nothing major. Good facilities and friendly enough staff.

Bonjour, nous avons été placés dans un dortoir de 8 personnes alors que nous avions payé pour un de 6. Tous les draps étaient tachés, il y avait des cafards dans la salle de bain et l’eau chaude ne fonctionnait pas. Les rideaux ne couvraient même pas la longueur du lit.

War für 8€ in Ordnung aber geht auf jeden fall besser. Wasser vom Waschbecken und klo is nach einer von drei nächsten ausgefallen. Aber is super nah am stand.

This facility is actually a muay thai gym w 3 bunk bed rooms in the back. The location is great; you get easy walking access to both east and west beaches. The staff won't respond to messages or emails no matter how often you messsge. Since this is located inside Haan Rin Arena, I suggest this place any time that venue has a fight, since you'll see it free. The gym is also usable, but the gym doesn't appeal to you, book elsewhere.

loved our stay here, super close to the beach and all surrounding amenities. the air conditioned room was such a treat when the heat was kicking our butts.

Die Lage war gut aber für das was man bekommen hat war das Hostel echt viel zu teuer. Weder die Toiletten noch das Zimmer wurden gereinigt. Müll wurde nicht geleert. Das einzig gute war die Klimaanlage und die Lage.

Very kind owner, amazing location for the full moon party. We even enjoyed a free Muay Thai fight! Rooms are not exactly as pictured but the bed was comfy and location made it all worth it.

Good location for full moon but other than that pretty awful place to be. Beds rock hard. No hot water. Overbooked our room

We booked this hostel as it was close to the full moon party. We were nervous about the security of our belongings prior to arriving, but we felt so safe. Our room was inside the gym which was was able to use for free and watch the fight for free. The staff were amazing so accommodating. Highly reccomend if you want to be close to haad rin

Good place just to sleep for party, toilet is a bit scary, it’s falling apart and water is dripping from the ceiling. Location is great, the staff is normal. Beds were fine. If you want to stay longer choose something else. If 1-2 nights ok

Its near the full moon party beach and thats about it when it comes to the good stuff. The showers and toilets are solid, beds are okay, sheets looked dirty but overall it was okay.

war okay für eine nacht (full moon party). sieht null aus wie auf den bildern & super komisch zu finden weil die rezeption nicht am gebäude ist. aber von der lage her für full moon halt top

You can walk from Pier, so you don't have to take a songthaew. Close to the beach☆ The sheets are dirty but have been washed. The bathroom was also clean for a guesthouse. It was a full moon day so the prices were high. There are no electrical outlets next to the bed. When I told them, they brought me an extension cord. The safe is outside so it is not very safe and there is no staff available 24 hours a day.
