- Első tartozkodásomkor feltűnt pár dolog (mivel turizmusban dolgozom) amiről nem tájékoztatják a vendégeket.A külföldi vendégeket igy át lehet cseszni,a magyarokat meg lehúzni.Mikor kikértem a panaszkönyvet,úgy tettek fél órán keresztül,mintha nem találták volna. A menedzsment nem kommunikál az ügyfelekkel,őket még telefonon sem lehet kapcsolni. Mivel a recepciós segitőkész volt,hajnalra elszállt a mérgem,és közvetlenül náluk foglaltam egy szállást dec.21-re.Amikor aznap megérkeztem,kiderült,hogy mivel első alkalommal beirtam a panaszkönyvbe,törölték a következő foglalásom.Erről nekem semmilyen tájékoztató emailt nem küldtek nekem,majdnem az utcán aludtam. A vezetőséget nem lehet elérni,emailekre nem válaszolnak.

- Breakfast expensive for the low quality and variety, but the most awful thing of this place it's that the 3rd floor was like a bar instead of a place to sleep. The rooms near by were partying inside the rooms, people talking in the hall and the recepcionist didn't do anything when I went to complain. They shouldn't alow things like this to happen, it was not on the lobby, or they should put a disclaimer of what kind of Hostel they are so people that wanna sleep avoid this place. It was the worst experience I ever had in a Hostel. I asked a refund and they don't Even respond the emails.
- I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Wombat’s Hostel in Budapest. I had booked and paid for a female-only dorm, yet when I arrived, I discovered they had allowed a male guest to stay in the room due to overbooking. At no point was I informed about this change, and I only realised when I walked into the dorm. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering the safety and privacy expectations that come with booking a gender-specific room. When I raised my concerns with the receptionist, I was simply given an email address to contact. I emailed on 30th November and, after receiving no reply, followed up again on 3rd December. As of now, I still haven’t received any response at all. For a large hostel chain, the lack of communication and disregard for guest comfort and safety is shocking. I will not be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable or respectful accommodation experience.

- malheureusement mon expérience n'était pas bonne j'ai réservé via booking j'ai choisi de payer sur place, c'est que j'ai fait réellement, j'ai payé à l'arrivée et j'ai séjourné durant la date de ma réservation. on m'a débité comme même la carte de crédit , j'ai fait donc une reclamation, espérant un remboursement Bizarrement booking me contacte disant que l'hotel mentionne que je n'était pas présente durant le séjour et cerise sur le gateau il demande une indémnité en plus du séjour que j'ai payé deux fois.

- The room so dirty and full of bad smell, makes me vomit on the spot and feeling uncomfortable for whole day. The bed almost broken when you slightly turn your body the sounds of the bed so loud. Bed sheet never change, so dirty and smelly.. this hostel more like for homeless people stay, negative hygiene

Literally the best hostel ever. I need one in every city ever. I can’t even begin to describe how awesome this was.
Sito céntrico el desayuno está bien calidad precio es verdad. Que en las habitaciones se escucha un poco el exterior pero vamos soportable nosotros tuvimos una buena estancia todo limpio
This was my first hostel experience and it was amazing. The hostel bar was great for socializing and meeting other solo travelers. The location of the hostel is perfect for exploring Budapest and the bathrooms were very clean. Everyone I know that has traveled to Budapest has stayed here because of the great value. Highly recommend.
The Hostel is REALLY big, which makes it feel really unpersonal and the chill area is also kind of uncomfortable. It’s harder to get to know people, completely different to my other hostel experiences. Also the kitchen was extremely dirty (which of course ist also the fault of the people who use it) and i think they should clean it completely at least once a day because so many people are using it. El hotel está súper bien ubicado. Cerca a todo lo de interés. Queda a pocas cuadras del ruin bar más famoso, lo cual está muy bien para volver luego de la fiesta al hotel con facilidad. El espacio común es muy amplio y bien iluminado, es muy agradable. El desayuno está muy bien y completo. El personal amabilidad justa, podría sonreír más. Las habitaciones muy bien, limpias, cada cama con su espacio para guardar cosas y mesita propia, así como luz y cortina para comodidad y privacida...
Le personnel prend fréquemment des pauses de 5 minutes annoncées (matin, midi et soir), me laissant attendre bien plus longtemps (plus de 15 minutes), sans sourire ni attention pour les clients. Par exemple, un matin, le barman mangeait son sandwich sans me regarder ni me parler, me forçant à attendre 5 minutes avant de partir ; il a ensuite posé une pancarte “Break, revenez dans 5 min”. L’attitude générale est froide, impolie, voire étrange. Niveau propreté, les toilettes commun...
The staff frequently took advertised 5-minute breaks (morning, noon and evening), leaving me to wait much longer (more than 15 minutes), without a smile or attention to the customers. for example, one morning, the bartender ate his sandwich without looking at me or talking to me, forcing me to wait 5 minutes before leaving; he then put up a sign Break, come back in 5 minutes. The general attitude is cold, rude, even strange.
Arkadaslarımızın odasına girip eşyalarını ÇALDILAR! Ve görevli hiçbir şey yapmadı sadece sırıtarak polisi aramayın bişey yapmaz dedi. Uyduruk indirim kuponu vermeye çalıştı. Polisi aradık ve hemen geldi ilginç bir şekilde çalınan eşyaların yarısını bir adam bir anda belirerek geri vermeye çalıştı??!! Akşamımız zehir oldu ve işletmede çok büyük bir güvenlik açığı var. Başka yeri tercih etmeye çalışın!!
Very big hostel with nice rooms and staff. One toilet between 6 girls wasn't ideal. The safes and lockers were handy and my bed was comfy. I was on a top bunk which are not easy to get in to do recommend asking for a bottom one. Breakfast is ok but nothing exciting. I think because it is so big it's a bit harder to socialise/enjoy the atmosphere. Maybe a little bit overpriced for what you get. Handy location though a good base to explore the city in comfort :)
Everything was perfect
Városi fiatalok álma egy igazi közösségi hely sokkal több mint szállás. Bulik is vannak szervezve. Profi személyzet. Nem aludtam ott egy rendezvényen voltam ott de csak jókat tudok mondani.
Fine place. Not the cheapest around. AC didn’t work in my room. Breakfast was great. Someone tried to sell me coke. Pretty good place all things considered
The place has so much potential . Nice rooms and toilet and big common areas. But for solo travelers to socialise it's a big no. They should have a volunteer or staff to bring the people in the evenings together for an activity. It's just groups and social interaction was nowhere out there for solo travelers. Wish they had games night or even some activities to get everyone to come together.
Excellent location and very helpful staff. In my room the A/C never worked, room was hot. Anything else was good.

Great location, nice atmosphere to connect with people other than exploring Budapest that offers so much to experience..
If you are a solo traveler, I would not recommend staying at Wombat’s. There were no hostel events, making it very difficult to meet new people-clearly geared for groups. There is also a complete lack of security anywhere. With the constant crowding at the hostel entrance, it made me feel uncomfortable as a female solo traveler that the front was not secure as well as the elevator to room levels. I will say that the rooms and other facilities were very clean, which is its only saving grace.
Muy buena experiencia
The wombat in Munich Germany is definitely they're best that I've stayed with. This one is great as well but also so large that I think its hard for them to create an atmosphere different from a hotel. Very good beds and facilities. Showers could be renovated and AC is not very strong.
It was good but coming from Vienna’s Wombat hostel. It was a downgrade. Rooms weren’t as good as Vienna’s. But Budapest’s location was soo good right in the corner of a good street which is 15 mins away from the city center. Worst thing was the luggage locker that charged €3 for 2 hours.
