Pathetic place.
I had bad experience there. When I told the owner of the place about it she ignored me One guest was aggressive and bully with me and I was scared she’ll physical attack me if I won’t left the conversation. The owner told me it’s my fault that I know British English and she know common American English she refused to apologize. Offered me to me to the worst room in the hostel where the volunteer stays. From my point a view this is the worst experience ever
The reviews on this place blow my mind. This is the grossest place I have ever stayed in my life. They use round photos to hide how bad it is. It is extremely dirty, and smells so bad as soon as you walk in. There is stuff everywhere, I’m not sure if it’s to add to the aesthetic but it just adds to the overall mess. The bathroom is filthy, I didn’t shower for the two days I was here because the drain was clogged with a pile of grey hairs. There is no AC, everyone sleeps with a fan in their...
I cannot understand why this hostel has extremely high ratings on this platform while there were many issues (and after speaking with fellow guests and google ratings are not isolated to me): I was required to pay in cash for all except a 10 euro deposit. Most importantly we were also only told this information after our first night of staying there and so felt obliged as we had already stayed one night. It was also unclean, the dorm and bathroom had dirt all over the floor and smoke in the air.
Naja, also, man kann drin übernachten und die Lage ist gut. Aber es ist abgewohnt, die Duschen sind eklig, keine Fenster im Bad, es riecht nach maximaler Feuchtigkeit. Du kannst nur Cash zahlen. Die Betten sind abgewohnt. Ich würde nicht nochmal dort schlafen.
Well, so, you can stay in it for the night and the location is good. but it's used, the showers are disgusting, no windows in the bathroom, it's aiming for maximum humidity. you can only pay cash. the beds are used. i wouldn't sleep there again.
Don't go here if you have to sleep in the second floor. This room have a tiny windows that make the room super hot and smelly and in the bedroom they have the drier that increases the heat in the second floor.
stayed there in july and it was extremely muggy and hot. no chance for air circulation and smelled very musty. i think my friend and i both got sinus infections from sleeping there. the showers were atrocious.
The facilities are so overdue for an upgrade it’s actually ridiculous, it was like staying in a share house that hasn’t been upgraded since the 90’s, with one bathroom that includes a toilet and one separate toilet and shower there’s not enough facilities for the amount of people they host. What everyone says about Anna is true, she is an angel and will give you any and all the info you could ever ask for. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider ist das Hostel sehr unordentlich und unsauber. Ein sehr kleines Badezimmer für sehr viele Menschen… Die Waschmaschinen stehen mit im Badezimmer, sodass im Obergeschoss eine krasse Hitze herrscht.
I don’t understand why all the reviews rate this hostel so high. I only stayed here 1 night instead of 3 and my other 2 nights I had booked a hotel because there was no way I was staying longer in this place than necessary. The bathroom was disgusting (I wish I could include pictures in reviews) and the whole place just looked messy and a bit grim. The rooms are also super small. I stayed in the 6 people dorm and I genuinely don’t think everyone could stand in the room at the same time ...

Great hostel with a really lovely community atmosphere. Staff are eager to make sure you have the best time possible. Be sure to ask for recommendations :) There are fewer and fewer of these types of places and we must protect them !

Woke up to the dorm room door being wide open and a very grim conversation happening amongst the male volunteers. Walking out they remarked to each other that they didn’t know I was there. Overall my stay felt like I was intruding on someone else’s party - besides the welcome check in the staff/volunteers were pretty standoffish but seemed to get on well with one another. A ‘we’re not like other hostels vibe’ that seemed to amount to nothing. I did my best!
The Bubble felt like living in a shared flat with changing roommates. Everything felt very homey and very inviting. The staff were great, super friendly and very welcoming. The place was clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice. I had the best time here, I would 100% recommend!
Great chilled out hostel, brilliant location, had everything I needed and the hosts were lovely. Would recommend and stay again!

Fantastic hostel - amazing value and great vibes
Don’t read this review like any old review… this is a heartfelt hug of a message to Bubble hostel. My friend and I stayed for 4 nights and it was just simply the most lovely time. Epo, Paul, and Ali were so kind and welcoming and we just felt right at home. It was so lovely could not recommend it enough. Not to mention super clean, comfortable beds, good facilities etc. thank you all 🩵
an incredibly special place, and one of the most unique hostels I've been in. It's tiny, homely and feels almost like a shared apartment abroad rather than the classic cheap hotel hostels. Ali, Jack, Epo and Paul are the kindest crew you'll meet. 10/10

The Bubble! Had a lovely stay. Great location, great atmosphere, great people! Fantastic if you’re looking for a break from the party hostels, it does feel like being in a home. It’s definitely still social (has to be as it’s a small space), but very laidback and warm. My dorm was good, beds were comfy. Only things I would see improved is the bathrooms and kitchen getting an update, but still perfectly usable! Also wouldn’t rec to someone who hates the smell of cigs. Shout out to staff, ...

No me senti muy comoda con la limpieza de la casa, a parte de ser demasiado pequeña para la gente que reciben. Pero el personal que me recibió ha sido de la gente mas calida que me he encontrado en hostales.
I didn't feel very comfortable with the cleanliness of the house, apart from being too small for the people they receive, but the staff who received me were some of the warmest people I've ever met in hostels.
It was simply the best hostel i have ever stayed at. Olga, the owner, was such a nice and positive person, the volunteer staff were just awesome, and the whole environment inside the hostel was just cozy and embracing of everyone. Truly felt like a family, even if it wasn't for many days. Thanks for having improved so much my stay in Budapest, and i hope to be back soon!
It was so nice ! It is near from the train stations and in the middle of the city. Hostel very cute with a great vibe. The team is awesome and Olga is absolutely lovely, I will definitely come back ! Lot of kisses and szép napod !
People are very kind. The atmosphere is amazing and the location is great!
So homey, everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and it was such a lovely home base for my time in Budapest!
