Le dejo una estrella porque no se le pude dejar ninguna. La verdad ni lo recomiendo, no vale la pena ahorrar dinero con tal de quedarse en ese lugar. Las fotos nada que ver con el lugar, y el personal no es amigable

Weird place. Very very hot and dirty. Bro running it literally has mannequins wearing women's underwear. In my opinion the serial killer vibe is kinda funny but the heat was too much and it was pretty dirty and awkward.

C'est plus un appartement avec des lits un peu partout qu'une auberge selon moi, tout le monde a accès à l'ensemble des chambres et la propreté laisse a désiré, j'ai jamais vue un rideau de douche aussi sale

We had three nights booked at Locomotive Hostel, we stayed one. I highly recommend you do not stay here, we arrived late the first night and therefore stayed for the first night but if we could we would’ve left before. We booked a private room, which was next to the highway (extremely noisy) we were boiling hot during the night but could not open the window because of the noise. When we got there, the hostel was a place full of stuff, there were tacky signs everywhere, towels, sheets, staff...

NO RESERVAR NUNCA. Nada más llegar al portal tocábamos y nadie nos abría, ni siquiera considero que sonase el timbre. Pudimos entrar gracias a un vecino que nos abrió e indicó dónde estaba. Al llegar al hostel, tocamos y nos recibió un chico (bastante pasota y desprendía un olor peculiar la verdad) que nos indico dónde estaba nuestra habitación, nos dio las llaves y sábanas. Entramos al hostel y estaba lleno de trastos, desordenado y sucio, nada que ver con las fotografías publicadas...

If you're desperate, this would work. However, we had issues - the common areas were very messy, and kinda creepy, there was no hot water, the manager/owner was very blunt/rude, and we felt very unsafe.

Worst hostel I've ever been . Just avoid it . The owner is never home and u can expect waiting 30-45 min at the front door before someone will open .

Unfriendly staff, very dim lighting and generally an undersirable vibe.

Would not recommend at all. 1. It is loud, the room is directly at a bigger junction. 2. The hostel itself is a mess, not tidy at all (including the bathroom). 3. The host did not behave professional. E.g. he just accepted cash, although in Hungary it is a must per law for shops, hotels etc. to accept card.

Uns hat die sehr gute Lage zum Budapester Ostbahnhof ,wo auch ,die Internationalen Züge an und abfahren hier her gezogen. Natürlich auch das Budapester Kulturleben. Wir wissen auch , daß in alten Bauwerken es mit der Barrierefreiheit nicht so gegeben ist. Beim leuten und Eingabe der Klingel wurde uns nur ganz kurz und unfreundlich ein zugangscod genannt. Wir mussten 2x fragen , dann kam durch Zufall jemand der und die Türen öffnete. Dann oben angekommen und der unfreundliche Ton bis zum ...

This hostel could be very nice. I liked the decoration and location. Beds, showers, toilets are alright. It's no problem if there are foreign workers but they have to be told by the manager to clean their dishes, not to speak on phones in dorms and to use earphones when watching videos.

Is a small and good hostel to stay . Clean, efficient and staff is kind

Nice little hostel if you’re looking for an escape and a quiet night. Lovely staff and comfy beds

not as bad as the reviews let to believe. this histel is definitaly a viable option although i wouldn't choose it again. check out was supposed to be 24 hours. via email was asked ehat time i arrived ao the bed could be ready and i put in 9 am. in the owners agenda wtitten down was 12 pm. but he said the bed would be ready after 33 pm. bad planning and frantically just a lie.

Exactly what you can expect for that cheap price, not a single thing more

For one night it was okay. The staff was helpful. No lockers and the facilities were mediocre, not much space or privacy in shower or bathroom. Everything kind of filthy. Walking into the city Centre takes about 25minutes, but the keleti train station is really close so that was convenient. I met some nice people there.
