Beimen WOW Poshtel

This hostel is really overpriced, doesn’t include a towel and only returned to collect my luggage. There are double beds in the girls dorm which are let out to two friends, meaning the room is used as a social space and is more than the 16 people which is already a lot. Additionally, super anal about check in time which hasn’t been my experience in other hostels in Taiwan. The only good thing is the location, but the metro is good in Taipei. NK is way better and includes breakfast and dbl be...

We stayed in a double room, which was tbh for the price very inconvenient. It was small, dark and smelled like smoke...We don't know about the dorms but wouldn't recommend staying here, even though the location is decent and it has a very nice kitchen and common area (however, not at all social)

My dorm was en-suite, the bathroom was attached, but there were stalls so multiple people could shower/use the toilet at the same time. However, the bathroom absolutely stank. Furthermore, the sink was not in the bathroom but in the dorm room, so if you need to wash your hands or brush your teeth, you have to turn the light on. Light sleepers, good luck. Finally, the worst thing for me was that the mattress was lumpy and hard as rock. Common area was nice and staff was lovely.

It’s a nice hostel and globally confortable but it’s overpriced for what it is. My locker half broken, no food/breakfast options, the best isn’t incredibly comfortable and no towels… for 18€ a night you expect at least a towels… The location remains very good, close to night markets, metro and main city spots !

The location is great but the rooms are small and you only get 1 or 2 showers for 20 people inside the room.

I really wanted to like this place because it has a lotta potential . That big cozy social area, organized bunkbeds with curtains, multiple bathrooms. Alas, the room inside feels so moldy and wet . I could actually smell it. And .. this one did it for me-mosquitoes !! yes i was assigned the top bunk on the topmost 4th floor and there were mosquitoes. It was so bad i couldnt sleep n i decided to sleep on the sofa . The rest of the 2 nights i booked , i slept with the light on above my bed.

private rooms are very very small if you’re sharing with another person and both have backpacks! The hostel it’s self was really clean and had a nice social area downstairs but was quiet. The location is perfect for getting around!

Bed and common area were nice. The bathroom was kind of run down though. Not enough ventilation in the showers and there was mold on the ceiling. Some of the fixtures were broken.

Rather clean and cheap but 2 main issues: 1- little space in the rooms, can’t hang anything anywhere, you gotta put all your stuff in the locker, whether it’s clean, dirty, wet, etc. Very not hygienic but 2- they charged me 100 extra per hour for late check out while the room was empty, ridiculous.

Nice hostel, clean but the bed and pillow are very uncomfortable. Lots of privacy given as the beds are made well and great lockers to store your thing away. Loved the security of the hostel, and the communal area was great! Met some lovely people who I spent a couple of days with, but overall the hostel isn’t the most social.

It's a good place to stay if you are looking for something cheaper. The room, bathroom, and basement were clean. However, the older female receptionist was rude and had an attitude. There are livelier places to stay at if you're looking for that.

Es war alles sauber und die Lage war sehr gut. Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Hostel- Atmosphäre kam leider nicht auf. Es war eher wie in einem Hotel.

The location was perfect, the 20mix-dorm I wouldn’t recommend. Facilities were good and staff was nice🫶🏼

The hostel was friendly and located in a good neighborhood. The bed was a little on the soft side, which might not be everyone’s favorite, but everything was clean. Staff was very helpful!!

Good location close to both main station and metro. Cleanliness was alright and big beds :)

Very cute hostel. Staff is friendly, there is also an elevator. The place is VERY clean. Like there was not a speck of dust in my bed area and the bathroom didnt smell or have dirt anywhere. There is a small storage locker just big enough for one 50gal bag. My biggest complaint is where some of the lights in the room are. I was on the top bunk and one of the light was directly in-front of my bed and whenever someone turned it on early in the morning i was blinded and pissed off lol.

Nice place. Decent location

Easy check-in, even after hours. Very clean, you see the crew cleaning every day. Staff is kind and always willing to help. Good common room and kitchen area.

I really had a good stay. Neat and clean with an amazing location which is close to all essential stores and metros

I only stayed one night. I slept very good and the hostel is near of Taipei main station, it’s mean ver good location. Of course I’ll stay here when I come back to Taiwan!!!
