Too friendly, no boundaries between guest and staff! 👎🏻

The a/c was broken for all 3 nights I stayed there. They sent someone around who would look at it and then leave. It would break within 5 mins every time. The room doesn‘t have a window as it was facing the hallway both ways and it was unbearably UNBEARABLY hot and stuffy in the room. In all my months of travel I have never been this uncomfortable during the night.. If you can‘t fix it you should move people to different rooms. I paid for a/c not a sauna.

Stayed 3 nights in a private room and wouldn’t advise it. Had I not paid in advance, I’d have checked out immediately. Very small room, no window, dull lighting. Washroom has no outside lock, bathroom is extremely tight, and the shower holder is so loose it has to be held throughout. Hardly any storage, old weak AC. Central location, breakfast, laundry, pool table, and scooter rentals are positives—but the private room is not worth the cost.

Found bed bugs in our room. Management was uncooperative, reluctantly offering a 2-night refund after a lengthy discussion. Laundry service claimed 2-day turnaround despite offering express 3-6 hour option. When asked for express, staff threatened to call police multiple times. Unacceptable experience.

The receptionist need to learn how to speak to people and not laugh in there face when they have done something wrong

I booked 4 nights at this highly-rated hostel, advertised as non-party with quiet hours after 11 PM. This was a lie. Loud music, shouting, and even swimming continued past midnight. My dorm was chaos—constant door slamming, loud talking, a couple having sex all night, and someone vomiting in their bed. After this nightmare, I left. The receptionist dismissed my concerns with a rude 'no refund, dorm, lots of people.' Absolutely disgusting that they allow this. Avoid at all costs!

I booked 2 nights at first. When I arrived, I asked the staff if there was a bed in the female dorm and he said no cause only mixed dorms were available. That’s fine, but he put me (a girl) in a 8 beds dorm with 7 other men. And I know there was other options. So, I would not recommend this hostel for a solo female traveler AT ALL. The staff is not concerned about safety.

Personally I did not enjoy this hostel, and I ended up moving after 1 night. Positives: the bathrooms, the breakfast, and the front desk staff were super helpful booking excursions etc Negatives: rooms were very dated and creaky, loud noise from the lobby area, construction noise too. Just not for me, but others might enjoy it.

Property is ok but it is not clean. I found multiple insects and spider webs once arrived and a cockroach on my bed during the second night (private room). Once I said it to the reception they promptly removed it and sprayed my room, which is not great because I was about to go to sleep. Position is great though.

I booked and paid more for a female dorm and when I arrived they told me there was no more space so I had to move to a mixed dorm. They argued with me when I asked for some of my money back because the female dorm was more, and told me to go stay somewhere else if I didn’t like it. The bathrooms were gross and always smelt. Atmosphere was bad and workers were not nice at all. The only good thing about this place was the big breakfast.

Really loved my stay here! I stayed in an 8 bedroom with a shared bathroom. Pros: Everything was really clean, shower and bathroom included. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was tasty. Cons: if you close the curtains on the bed, there's very minimal ventilation, so I had to sleep with my curtain open lol :))

A perfect place and a great location

I was there for 5days and definitely come back to this hostel. They're very nice. Cleanness 👍 Press the button on the door handle to lock it if anyone needs to know.

Solid hostel, not the most social atmosphere but that might be because it’s not high season anymore. Really nice breakfasts though and the toilets and showers are super clean. Also in a good spot in the middle of town.

Nice hostel, think it was low season so that affected the atmosphere! If the place held more events I can imagine it being more social and lively! Good breakfast in the morning and links with local transport to get to different activities. Close to the main strip of Vang Vieng. Comfortable beds with curtains and AC.

It's not party vibes. It's just make you so so much comfortable during your stay, decent hostel with nice staff helps me a lot with my travel

My first experience in a hostel. Very welcome, 24 hour front desk, check-in was really easy and doesn't ask so much information. They do have daily breakfast and it's super delicious. Comfy beds, large room with a cute paint in the female room.

It's more than just a hostel. They are friendly and completely helpful. We have been here for New Year Pi Mai, it's been great time and we love to say thanks to everyone especially Jack theguy with the tattoo
