Wouldn’t even recommend this hostel to my worst enemy. I can start off with saying when I got to my bed it was wet and had big brown satins on it. And I got 1 million kip and 50 euros stolen from by the housekeepers. They go through your stuff when the clean so be careful with that. And the owner will just say that you’ll have to go to the police station to report it. So thats no help. The breakfast is okay. Not a really nice atmosphere to be honest. Book chill hostel instead

Ich habe als Alleinreisender ein Hostel gebucht, um mich mit anderen Leuten zu connecten. Nach dem Bezahlen wurde mir gesagt, dass ich eine Nacht im Hotel eines Freundes schlafe und dann für zwei Nächte im Hotel seines Bruders. Nicht das, was ich mir vorgestellt habe... Aber: Die Hotels waren voll in Ordnung, das Frühstück sehr gut und die Hosts sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
I booked a Hostel as a Solo Traveler to connect with other People. After paying I was told that I would sleep one night in a friend's hotel and then for two nights in his brother's hotel. Not what I had imagined... But: The Hotels were voll in Ordnung, the Breakfast very good and the Hosts very friendly and helpful.
Really the worst hostel I have stayed in my 6 months of travel in Southeast Asia. Really decadent place, the receptionist is never there and the hostel is basically abandoned. The worst of all is that they sold me a tour that not even half of the things were done and I had to threaten them to get part of the money back. Then on top of that I washed my clothes and they delivered them all stained with detergent and after washing them again they wanted to charge me for that wash
Owner rips off his guests: Tubing 130, instead of 100. Extending room - 160 for me, 150 + 180 for my mates-same room,same day Rented a bike, fine when returned, had a flat tyre in the morning. He said I had to pay for it at local mechanic. Felt like I'd be charged more than the quoted 60k. I returned the bike instead, price went up to 70k, then he short changed me. No AC, WiFi barely usable, ok shower if not busy, often no toilet paper, good brekkie, watered down alcohol, higher price than...
Michael will pretend to be your friend and then s**m you out of your money. He told us to buy train tickets from him at the hotel. It was not until we were leaving that we discovered the ticket cost 1/3 of what he charged us and would not explain why the price was this high. We do not recommend going here if you want to keep your money.
Ich kann die guten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Schlimmstes Hostel in dem ich je war. Wir hatten ein Viererzimmer. Die Betten sahen aus wie Gefängnisbetten und waren total unbequem. Die Laken waren verdreckt und nichts war frisch bezogen. Wir hatten keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer und nur einen Fan, der die heiße Luft verquirlt hat. Wir haben dann rausgefunden, dass die anderen Zimmer Klimaanlagen haben. Haben wir wohl ein Downgrade bekommen. Es gab keine Vorhänge vor den Betten, ...
I can't understand the good reviews at all. Worst hostel I've ever been in. We had a four-bedroom. The beds looked like prison beds and were totally uncomfortable. The sheets were dirty and nothing was freshly cleaned. We had no air conditioning in the room and only a fan that deflated the hot air. We then found out that the other rooms had air conditioning. Did we get a downgrade?

Staff are so lovely and the rooms are nice and cool! Not the best social area, but breakfast is great!
Michael is so lovely and really made me feel welcome for my stay. The beds are comfy and the AC was a lifesaver in the heat. There wasn’t a rooftop as I’d expected and I think that the social room could do with some comfier chairs so people would hang out more. Really enjoyed my stay overall!
Great hostel with lovely staff. Everyone is very friendly and the owner of the hostel is great with helping book trips for you. 10/10 would come back. Beds are also very comfy

Guy who runs the place was really nice ! Nice hot showers and comfy beds, however there was no curtains at the foot of the beds which was a bit strange and disrespectful people having sex in the dorms :/

Had an amazing stay at this place! Micheal is extremely friendly and helpful with booking scooter, transport, and printed my visa. The breakfast was delicious, unlimited free fruit and bread and eggs or pancakes of your choice! The showers were amazing and beds clean and comfy. Not a party vibe but nice and social, was able to make friends at breakfast and in the common area. Only downside is no view of the river which you can get elsewhere, but I really enjoyed my stay!! The guy who runs this hostel is an angel, I got tonsillitis here and he kept checking to make sure I was okay and anything I needed he was more than happy to help going above and beyond, but apart from this the breakfast very fresh, constantly felt like staff were cleaning though out the day and the vibe in the hostel were amazing. I was ment to be to stay one night but extended for a week in the end. Everything can be booked at reception so check there before booking elsewhere even for travel
I enjoyed my stay soo much here! Michael was super helpful and was able to organise anything. The hostel was really central and the breakfast delicious and made to order :) Thanks Michael
