We arrived at 11am and after check-in they took us to our room. After a moment they came to the room to bring the change for the payment we had made and gave us less than what was expected claiming that we had to pay an extra 50% more for early check-in. They said we should leave the room and wait outside until 2pm if we didn't want to pay the extra. We had inquired by email the day before about checking-in a little earlier if the room was available and they hadn't mentioned any extra charge.
Two categories of 6 beds dorms with different prices. Only difference is air conditioning, which is not mentioned anywhere on their website. Price of air conditioned room is Rs.1,000/- higher than the non air conditioned one. Whereas on website, all the rooms are mentioned with air conditioning. I paid extra amount for the air conditioning in 6 bed dorm. Location is far deep into the streets of Sector E-11 and difficult to find. Its a two storey small house transformed into the hostel.

Problem checking in and finding my booking was not off to a good start. The en-suite room was large and really elegantly decorated in touch with local crafts and culture. Wardrobes were locked and room could have been cleaner. Common area, rooftop, travel literature and maps were great. Kitchen was very poorly provided and not clean/tidy. Nice neighbourhood with shops nearby but far away from main town - Blue Area. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

De accommodatie was super. In dit hostel voel je je echt thuis plus de mensen die er werken zijn super. Naheed en Ihsan zijn super gastvrij, vriendelijk, grappig en sociaal. Ik zou deze hostel iedereen ten zeerste aanraden.
The accommodation was great. in this hostel you feel really at home plus the people who work there are super. naheed and ihsan are super hospitable, friendly, funny and social. i would highly recommend this hostel to everyone.
This hostel is very good value for money. It excels as a place to meet fellow travellers. The beds are comfortable and there are two kitchens available with full facilities. Nearbye are shops and some basic restaurants. Attractions and transport hubs can be accessed by taxi. While fellow guests have described it as clean I found the main areas to be clean but there was a lot of dust in the corners and on sills. The locker under my bed was quite simply filthy with dirt, dust and cobwebs.
The hostel staff is excellent and very helpful, always providing any information they can about Islamabad and Pakistan. The atmosphere is wonderful and very cozy. The hostel is incredible.
The host is amazing, he is very friendly and can help you woth everything. The rooms are very clean and Highly recommend this place, by far the best in Pakistan

A great hostel in Islamabad, great facilities and a lovely rooftop, I got slightly sick and the hostel manager took care of me including buying some bits to help me get better and wouldn’t let me pay! The hostel is clean and is only a stone throw away from the very centre of the city and is 45 mins from the airport

Perfect place to stay in Islamabad. The space is beautifully decorated and really nice to relax in (perfect to avoid the Islamabad heat!), room with aircon was great, and the staff were incredibly helpful in sorting travel to the north. Highly recommend as the place to stay in Islamabad!

Great hostel for a great price! Rented a motorcycle there. Maybe the most helpfull staff ive ever encountered. Will 100% be back
Such lovely staff at the hostel. Helped and answered any questions I had! The area was nice and close to shops. The rooftop was so nice to hangout on with other travelers. Would definitely stay again.
This is the best hostel i stayed in Pakistan and also one of the most beautiful hostels i stayed in the world! The place is locally runned and decorated! The rooms are clean, fully AC, spacious and beautiful. The roof garden is amazing and have some weights to exercise, laundry available, fully equipped kitchen, cozy common areas, clean bathrooms, boardgames and lovely people.
Coyote Den Travelers Hostel is a budget-friendly spot in a great neighborhood, with grocery stores and restaurants just a short walk away. Maya's hospitality is top notch, very accommodating and informative. Several well-designed communal spaces and facilities, and an aesthetic rooftop. Beds are comfortable, with built in international sockets (no need for travel adaptor). It was a good stay and provided a welcoming, great first impression of my arrival in Pakistan. Highly recommended. 🌟
Absolutely wonderful hostel! It's so cozy and charming! It has character and life. Very comfortable. Multiple bthrms, patios and sitting areas. Plenty of reading material, guide books and table top activities. There's even a community of canaries here too. Super quiet neigborhood! Maya, the hostess, is an absolute angel! She and the young gentlemen tending to the place are just wonderful. They'll help u find things to do, eateries, transport, med help, minor and major shopping. Love this place!
De prive kamers zijn misschien wat aan de dure kant, maar als je een 4 bed dorm neemt is dat wat budget vriendelijker. Er zijn onder het bed lockers, er is een echt warme douche. Proper hostel, 2 kleine keukens waar je zelf kan koken, en een gezellige rooftop. Voor 500 roepies kan je de was doen, die kan op de rooftop drogen. Er is plaats om je fiets achter het hek te zetten, de buurt is met bewaking. Rustige wijk.
The private rooms may be a bit on the expensive side, but if you take a 4 bed dorm is that which is more budget friendly. There are under the bed lockers, there is a really hot shower. Proper hostel, 2 small kitchens where you can cook yourself, and a cozy rooftop. For 500 rupees you can do the laundry, which can be on the rooftop drug. There is a place to put your bikes behind the fence, the neighborhood is met with surveillance. Quiet neighborhood.
I really enjoyed my stay at this place, and I’ll definitely stay here again whenever I come to Islamabad.
Very cool owners who are kind, friendly and super helpful. The place looks super chic and nice, amazing decor and the rooms are nice. Overall very great place. A bit hard to get to the major tourist attractions from here, but Islamabad is a poorly planned city so it's not their fault.
Coyote Den is a very convenient place to start travel in Islamabad. All the staff and owner were extremely friendly and helpful. beds are comfortable, clean and location is convenient as well. I'm thankful to the Ehsan and Sana who helped me with my onward travels. highly recommended.
