Soy francesa y dormí aquí dos noches. Es el peor hotel en el que me he alojado. En primer lugar queríamos pagar en efectivo, pero tuvimos que pagar según la tarifa del gobierno, lo que en realidad lo hizo el doble de caro para mí. Además el baño era muy cuarto, los retretes rebosaban. Por otro lado el desayuno era bueno.
I am french and slept here two nights. it is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. first of all we wanted to pay cash, but we had to pay according to the government rate, which actually made it twice as expensive for me. plus the bathroom was very roomy, the toilets were overflowing. on the other hand the breakfast was good.
Nobody to answer at the door when I arrived late in the night despite them saying there's a reception 24/7. No answer either on the phone number provided.
This is not a fair review. I am old, ride a motorcycle, and am not the usual client, so take this with a grain of sand. After riding 9 hours, being dressed for the highway where it had been 11C and is not 30C, I pulled into the hostal - the SECOND place I had booked as the first one just told me what I had booked was not available. Exhasted, hot and already frustrated, I needed to get off the bike, parked, eat and get some sleep. The girl at the counter was taling to another person.
Don't really understand the good reviews stating it to be the best hostel ever. I can only speak for my experience: When checking in, I didn't get any information about what to do or activities, my bed in the shared dorm was right next to the bathroom, which door was not closing so I basically slept in the toilet. There was almost no atmosphere during the day and the breakfast was basic hostel breakfast with some cakes. Overall the place is really rundown and needs some maintenance.
Never seen so I'll equipment kitchen in all the hostels I have stayed in in South America. There was no cutlery at all and the pots and pans could certainly do with replacement. Breakfast was crusty dry bread and some spreads with sweet cake. The instructions for the eggs was not very clear to how they were supposed to be cooked.
Bon séjour dans une atmosphère sympa avec un petit patio très agréable. Le staff est top tout comme les petits déjeuners, copieux et bien utiles pour démarrer des journées d'excursions.
Good stay in a friendly atmosphere with a very nice little patio. the staff is top notch as well as the breakfasts, copious and very useful to start days of excursions.
Es gab Unklarheiten bzgl. des angebotenen Preises bei Hostelworld und dem Preis, den wir vor Ort zahlen sollten. Wir durften nur mit Bargeld zahlen, weil wir nicht die Option mit kostenloser Stornierung gewählt haben. Daher mussten wir dann auch die ~20% IVA Steuern bezahlen… Der Mitarbeiter hat darauf hingewiesen, dass man nur mit Karte zahlen darf, wenn man die teurere (mit kostenloser Stornierung) Option bei Hostelworld auswählt. Steht bei Hostelworld allerdings nirgendwo… Sonst gutes H...
There were some uncertainties regarding the prices offered at Hostelworld and the price we should pay on site. we were only allowed to pay with Cash because we did not choose the Option with Free Cancellation. therefore we also had to pay the ~20% VAT Tax... The employee pointed out that you can only pay with Card if you choose the more expensive (with Free Cancellation) Option at Hostelworld.
We were allowed an early check in which was great however our room floor was quite dirty. The breakfast was ok - it was mostly sweet processed breads and a lack of savoury foods. There were eggs for us to cook but the hostel did not provide any oil which was frustrating.

Great hostel, near to the beach, bars and everything you need. Staff were excellent, so helpful and friendly. Bedding was okay, top bunk was too hot to sleep first night but fine after. Atmosphere is brilliant, met some amazing people just chilling in the garden area and loved cooking bbqs in the evening. The tours they organise are good, but expensive. Cheaper options are available by the beach, or find people and rent a car. One “English speaking tour” was 80% Spanish 20% English. Overall ...

One of the best hostels I've stayed at in Argentina. Eduardo and the other staff were kind, friendly, and very accommodating. The rooms and washrooms were cleaned everyday. I love that our own room had our own washroom. The shower didn't clog and you're not standing on inches of water. The room was big, spacious, and had large lockers for your luggage. Lots of hooks to hang stuff and each bed had it's own plug and light. Thank you for an amazing stay. Looking forward to coming back to Puer...
A great hostel in Puerto Madryn! Very friendly staff who are happy to give tips on places to visit in the area. A fantastic breakfast with homemade cake. Spacious dorms with plenty of storage space and a cosy courtyard. Thank you so much for a lovely stay! I can highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Puerto Madryn! :)

La Tosca was amazing. The atmosphere, facilities and location was all perfect. I highlight recommended staying here as the value for money is amazing and the staff are always so happy to help. Special thanks to Sabrina who helped my friend and I navigate a very stressful last night and was super patient. If we ever come back to Puerto Madryn, we know where we will stay!
Lovely stay for a few nights for the price we paid. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped me with some GF food for breakfast which was great, good but not the best breakfast we've had on our travels amongst other hostels. Helpful with details of trips or places to rent cars. Didn't love lighting the kitchen stove with a lighter as you get very close to the flame.
Great location, less than 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff are so nice and helpful, speak both English and Spanish. So many nice places to chill and two kitchens. Breakfast is lovely with lots of homemade cakes and treats. I would go back!
Nous avons passé un super séjour à la Tosca, le personnel est super sympa, l'atmosphère est géniale, les chambres sont propres, bref rien à redire !

- Decent hostel - Staff are very friendly and helpful about local info - rooms overall are ok, but need cleaning hit more often - decent kitchen - very good breakfast (for a hostel) - very good location Cons - Pillows need changing they were disgusting and very uncomfortably. The actual pillow was yellow (dirty) - also need a quite time, it’s loud if people stay in the social area late.

Everything is good! But the dust at floor seems little bite more! Breakfast is good but same every day 🤭🤭.

Grossartiges, kleines und gemütliches Hostel! Supernettes Personal, welches dich bei allem unterstützt. Die Athmosphäre im Hostel ist sehr familiär. Die Highlights der Region liegen teilweise einige Fahrstunden weg - um Geld zu sparen empfiehlt es sich, ein Auto zu mieten.
The atmosphere in the hostel is very familiar, while the highlights of the region are located a few miles away - to save money, it is recommended to rent a car.
Tipptopp unterkunft, mit süßem kleinen Innenhof zum Verweilen bei schönem wetter, einer Küche plus aufenthaltsraum,(ist allerdings nachts von 11-7 uhr zu) sowie zweitküche, die 24/7 offen ist, und die wohl nettesten leute, die ich auf meiner reise getroffen habe, sowohl was das personal angeht als auch die Gäste 🫶🏻
Tipptopp accommodation, with a sweet little courtyard to linger in nice weather, a kitchen plus a living room, (is however nights from 11-7 ohr zu) as well as a second kitchen, which is open 24/7, and the nicest people I have met on my trip, both the staff and the guests 🏻
La Tosca was a fantastic hostel! They were so welcoming and the location of the hostel is right in the center and close to the bus station. They were helpful with all the information about Peninsula Valdés, all the tours you could do. Even when we were struggling to find a rental car they helped us out so much that we managed to get a car for our trip. I really recommend them and would stay with them again!
