smelt a lot like mold or something?? i wouldn’t recommend staying for like over a night as the smell kinda got to me…

Although the people and environment were great, this hostel was the worst out of everywhere I stayed. The room I was in had a lot of wear and tear/stains, smelled bad, and didn’t feel clean. They also charged to use bath towels despite the hostel being an average price but below average facilities. If I could do it again, I would choose a budget hotel over staying here.

The beds are terrible! Out of the dozens of hostels I’ve stayed at around the world, this is the only hostel I’ve ever left half way to go somewhere else. It’s like sleeping on freezing cold stone. No padding at all and the walls have no insulation so you can feel the freezing air all night. Otherwise the place was clean, great location, and the staff was super friendly. But I can not recommend this place to anyone for how terrible the beds are.

The rooms need to be cleaner and the rooms need to be nicer. Good location though!

Beds were great and spacious, bathroom and showers really clean. However the kitchen was quite dated and was dirty in areas. I personally didn’t find it very social at all, no one was ever in the common area, I think a lot of people were using it more as a hotel

Tried multiple times over multiple days by phone and email to contact the hostel staff prior to arrival with no response. Arrived before check in but no one was there and we could not leave our luggage. Rooms and common areas had a strange odor that wasn’t bad just strong.

Nice for a short stay near the peace park.

Fantastic location, very close to Hiroshima castle and peace park. However no one was there to check anyone in. Doors and luggage room left unlocked. Everyone was hung out to dry until we got an email at 10:15 that night telling us to self check in. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Shame I had to leave a bad review because when someone was actually at reception they were very nice.

Staff were great and hospitable during our stay. Facilities were also neat and recently cleaned, which we very much appreciated. In hindsight, the only thing was that there was a specific smell in our roon that we couldnt place. it might have been the tatami mats and maybe it is a normal smell because we are not used to it, but we haven't smelt it since our stay in other places that also had tatami matts. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay very much!

L'auberge est très apaisante, le cadre est super beau. L'emplacement est très pratique et assez proche du centre (même si la côte est rude).

Auberge très agréable avec de la place au pied du lit pour ranger ses affaires et très bien situé proche du tram et des points d'intérêts de la ville. Je recommande !

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft, wir mussten mit Klimaanlage heizen, da es sehr kalt war im Dorm. Betten und Fläche darum herum recht unterschiedlich groß, wer als erstes da ist, kann sich das größte Bett aussuchen, da alle gleich viel kosten. Lage war ok, fussläufig alles zu erreichen. Steckdosen am falschen Ende in den Kojen, Matratzen sehr dünn

I enjoyed my stay here. The dorms were quite spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The hostel was cleaned top to bottom every day. Overall, I would be happy to stay here again.

Good facilities, clean and quiet. The room was really nice and comfortable. felt very private despite being 8 people room

Very friendly staff all facilities where provided cosy beds and there is a bar downstairs what more could you ask for.

good location, and very spacious bed, never had such a spacious dorm before. there is space to unpack your luggage within your own personal corner. the room was a bit dusty, but okay for a short time. decently social, but the guy doing check-in in the night was a bit grumpy. the ladies working in the morning and afternoon are very friendly, and the young lady who’s there in the afternoon/evening really went out of her way to help me when i had some wardrobe malfunctions.

A very nice hostel - super location, good facilities, nice staff, the hives were okay but the mattress was sooo thin and hard! My hips got so sore! So very little sleep! Please put in comfy mattresses, and create more atmosphere! Loved my stay in Hiroshima, the Peace Park, Museum and Miyajima island - all very worth while - and the local people very helpful.

Overall pretty nice place. Loved the washitsu roomand really good location Only downside for me was the shower that you had to press the button to make it run every 20 seconds (like a public sink) which was a bit annoying

Very chill hostel. Not that social but there is a common area and a kitchen if you want to meet people. The location was good and the beds amazing!!

It was a bit mixed but generally good. The man who was working there when we checked-in definitely needs to be more friendly and less grumpy, except for him the other staff were fine. The lounge is kinda old school (feels like you're at someone's grandparents' house), and the location is great!

Muy bien ubicado, fácil de llegar y muy cerca del parque de la paz. El ambiente acogedor y las habitaciones y servicios cumplieron con mis expectativas. Muy recomendado.

Super cute hostel with traditional tatami beds. Staff was very accommodating. Very close to everything too.

A really chill hostel with very cute dormitory’s. Located just 10 minutes from the memorial museum and in a good area with loads of restaurants.

Great hostel. Really nice bed / bed area situation. Heaps of room.
