the lockers are broken. quite unsocial and not a very safe looking location.
Good location with kind staff. Unfortunately my ensuite room (Margarita) was really disappointing. The bathroom was horrendous, with thick black mould, no ventilation and a tiny shower with no door. The shower holder was broken and the floor did not drain, so after a minute I was standing in filthy stagnant water. The room also lacked proper blinds (staff said this would be fixed, it was not) and smelled gross. The hostel tour car was very dirty and smelled of cigarettes. I was glad to leave.
Broken A/C in June - it was difficult to sleep in the hot room. I also saw a spider and a flying insect in the room. Terrible customer service that dealt with my complaint Good location
There were live electrical wires exposed in the SHOWER ! The SHOWER !!! The LIVE light switch was hanging off the wall of the bathroom. There were multiple exposed junction boxes and random wires throuought the wider block. An accident waiting to happen.
The bed sheets weren't changed on my bed, lockers have broken hinges, plug sockets hanging out. there's a smell about the place, and the room keys stop working after 24 hours. The reception isn't always manned when it says it is. They cancelled the tour without telling us. Bad vibes all round I'm afraid. The redeeming feature was the location, it was very convenient for sightseeing and not too far from the bus station. I wouldn't stay again.
Pros: the wifi works great, the location is amazing, the staff is friendly, they have affordable tours Cons: the shared bathroom for the private rooms is unbelievable… the smell from the toilet pipes made us gag, & it was everywhere and constant. I complained & they cleaned it with bleach but the smell remained. The shower was very dirty, not because of the cleanliness, but because it was old. This will be the hostel’s downfall if it isn’t fixed. We wouldn’t stay again bc of this :(
I don't understand the good ratings ratings this hostel has. The rooms and facilities are old, not really clean, especially the bathrooms. A lot of things are not functional (curtains, showers...). The neighbourhood is sketchy and the people not very friendly. The mosque nearby is really loud, and since the hostel isolation is really bad, it is a nuisance. You can't buy alcool in the bazar either. No social atmosphere whatsoever, no events or tours proposed by the hostel to create a better one...
Not worth the money! We had a private room and the bed was next to a wall of windows which had broken curtains meaning we woke up as soon as the sun rose. Room wasn’t ready until 3pm despite check in being 2pm on HostelWorld. Bathroom was small and shower head didn’t fix to the wall meaning you had to hold it the whole time. Common room was dead and the location didn’t make much sense.
The fact that during my stay there was no water for over 24 hours and that the first days the bathrooms were not particularly clean, made that I didn’t enjoy my stay and even left to sleep somewhere else for a night. The mattresses were quite thin and not so comfortable. On top of everything, people smoked in the reception/bar area. The last night the bathrooms were cleaner and the water worked again. But overall I wouldn’t recommend this hostel.
Not great, would not come back. If youre just looking for a cheapbed near centre this might be for you, but it wasnt for me. No effort is being put in to make it a good vibe, the beds are vere close together and no curtains, the lockers are to small to store anything but a small backpack or purse so no where to store your stuff safely.

Nice hostel to stay in Skopje. The best thing is the location in the old bazaar. The staff is friendly.
Location is great . inside to hostel they need a lot of repairing and improvement.
Great location but cleaning wast that goood no lockers . Elevator doesnt work sometimes (5th foor)
Overall it was fine mostly bevause of the location, but the hostel is old. Could use a renovation. There was mold in our room and in the baths… also if you don’t want to be awakened by the mosques prayercall this is not the place for u. Its fine for a sleep but if you can find something else, i would def do.
Great location in the bazaar and friendly staff, room wasn't clean
nice location next to the old bazaar. sweet cafe in front of the hostel where you check in with a super welcoming host. but since the hostel is inside the building, there is no staff present inside. overall not very social. they offer a trip to matka canyon for 10€ but you have be at least 4 people to go. the only critiques are the showers– a lot of space but the ceiling above is sort of peeling of...
La ubicación es muy biena. La habitación tenia un poco de olor a cigarrillo pero la.limpieza en general estaba bien. Faltaba algún enchufe y luz al lado de la cama. El desayuno pago está bastante bien.

Very nice staff and good location.
Great place, came in the off season tho so it was a bit boring.
great location and great value. facilities were fine, definitely get what you pay for. i’d definitely recommend
Good location to stay at to to see the City. The stairs to the rooms are a killer! but thankfully there is a lift :)
The room is realy comfortable and big enough. Location is realy good. You can walk everywhere from hostel. Staffs are very friendly. İf I have change to come back to city, I am gonna definetly stay here again.
The whole hostel is really nice. It is renovated, ofc you can find the signs that is being used all the time like bit od scratched walls but over wall it’s new and clean. Bathrooms were fine but lacking the place to put your own soap or something. There is a breakfast for 5€ in the reception/cafe downstairs. I think it’s really good value for money
A very nice property in a super central part of the city, with easy access to anything you need, a short walk from the stone bridge. The staff were very accommodating despite late check in hours and helped with any questions. The toilet and showers weren’t in the best shape though.
Great property. I bought a private room for €25 and was upgraded to the room worth €70 just because it was empty. Great laundry service, and they accommodated my time needs. Furthermore, when I forgot to log out of subscriptions on the TV, they did it for me. Very helpful staff, great room, would easily recommend.
The staff was nice at the downstairs bar but nonexistent in the hostel part. It felt more like we cramped inmates in a gentrified looking room with 0 privacy (no bed curtain whatsoever). The entire hostel was also very humid and floors were wet. Never saw someone come and clean. Bathroom were moldy to the point they might start filming a Last of Us spinoff there... No ventilation, no way for water to escape and the floors were always flooded. I think they get away with Skopje having few options.
