i’ve never written a review before, but after what happened to me here i can’t not say anything. Someone was sick on my bag, urinated on the bedroom floor, groaned all night and spat everywhere. when i asked for him to be removed they said NO bcos they would lose out on money, they actually let him stay 5 nights🤣🤣 they put money above customer safety. i was moved rooms and given 1 nights stay back in money along with cleaning fee for my bag. if you value safety, don’t stay here whate...

They offer free beer for a 5 star review. In honesty: The beds are alright, the shower is decent (great water pressure and temperature, not a great room) The place isn’t too dirty but not super clean either. The provided towels are pretty mid. The staff were nice, beyond one very talkative person who woke up some other people in our dorm coming in and chatting in the morning on Saturday.

It is so loud, full of mosquitos and not comfortable at all. The common rooms are just a tiny breakfast area while this area is separated from the rooms. Although the employees are really kind and open to help, they cannot make up for this place.

Fatal. Descuidado, sucio, en mala zona y con precio alto. No me dejaron pagar con tarjeta y encima me pidieron fianza para la llave. Una llave que ni hace falta porque la puerta tiene mal la cerradura y se queda siempre abierta. Las duchas incómodas y escasas, y me pusieron en una cama con el aire acondicionado justo encima goteando agua. No lo recomiendo.

Prison cells are cleaner. We had bed bugs in our beds, the wifi didn’t work, the shower “rooms” were disgusting. I could go on but I’d rather just forget the whole experience.

I tried to spend as less time as possible in this hostel. The vibe was so off. A lot of people who never stayed in a hostel before and therefore don't know the hostel-etiquette like don't answer your phone in the middle of the night, don't turn on the light and don't leave your trash everywhere. There's a big group of volunteers working at the hostel who are very distant and don't want to help you with anything, just like reception. Oh, and the 24/7 reception is bullshit

Overall it was okay, but I would not come back. The shower situation was frustrating because its a shower hose attached to the sink flowing onto the floor so the bathroom gets soaked and your pant bottoms get wet anytime you go the bathroom. The mattress was also really thin and the bunks shake quite a bit so it was hard to sleep. It was very clean and everyon is very nice, just not for me.

Not worth the money. Beds were not comfy, it smelled in the rooms and around parts of the hostel, it felt humid and moldy, just not clean overall. And overall given the price of ~30 USD a night, a complete rip off. Idk how this got high reviews. Hostels are supposed to be cheap, you can get a private room elsewhere for $23 USD on other websites. Why pay even more just for a bunk with 9 beds in the room? Overall Hostelworld options were expensive and not great for what you get.

Shred was very nice! I book a private room. Staff walked in unannounced one time. I didn’t like that. Location was great! Next to all the happening spots. Shower consisted of a shower head connected to the sink water with no walk in enclosure. Definitely wasn’t expecting that. Bed was just a mattress in the floor. Wasn’t expecting that either. Great hostel staff were so friendly and when another guest has a incident in the the room the workers cleaned and apologised immediately even though they could do nothing

This place grew on me. It is very social, I just happened to not meet anyone on my first night. Some staff recommendations led me to closed shops, but other times I went out with staff to some of the best places I experienced in Seoul, so definitely a mixed bag. Property definitely clean enough for my standards but more picky people might not like the let’s say ‘rustic/industrial’ vibe.

I am a Canadian and they didnt accept my credit card cause of their old machine, it happened to an other canadian to. I was forced to pay a large amount in cash and it kinda messed up my plan

Rooms were clean and cleaned everyday. Bathrooms need a deep clean, showers high key look like there’s mould on the ceeling. You can’t sit up in the bottom bunks too as the bed above is so close which was super annoying. Close to train stations.

Lovely stay and hosts.

Friendly staff at checkin and good location with access to the metro and quite a few bus lines. My room was a standard dorm but the lockers were small causing some people to leave their things about the room causing clutter. The bathrooms were not the cleanest my two days there but I’ve also seen worse. Overall good location and stay.

Fine for a night or two. But property feels pretty rundown and old, definitely needs some updating and maintenance. Pretty basic facilities and slightly dingy bathrooms. Better hostels in Seoul.

overall a good experience

location was perfect, right by all the amazing food of varied food culture and then right around the corner is the bar street, had such a blast every night, met amazing people. I love a hostel that welcomes party goers as long as everyone has respect for those sleeping. left my rucksack in a locked cage after checkout as my flight wasn't until the evening. Shrek is so lovely and helpful, will stay again if ever in the area

Great hostel, comfy beds with curtains and in a great location for nightlife and exploring seoul.

It’s located in a really great spot with loads of place to go and the subway station right there. I thought some of the volunteers were kinda rude or not very friendly but the ones who seem to own it were so nice and made us feel welcome.

Such a social popular hostel. Bunks were really private had shelves and curtains so nice and on the bigger side. Bathroom was nice. Staff were so nice and accommodating.

Decent hostel, very rustic charm. Booked 2 nights but stayed for 7. Maybe not as social as hostels in some other parts of Asia but think that’s to be expected for Korea. Very friendly staff and nice beds. Good location in Itaewon. Would stay again.

Firstly, the property charged me a no-show fee even though i was already checked in and staying there for a night? When I approached the receptionist, she told me it was a mistake and then said directed the fault to her colleague even though she was the one to check me in on my arrival. Proceeded to not process a refund until I followed up the next day to the other receptionist. Many other things, but am limited to a word count. Poor service overall and subpar facilities. Still no refund now😔...
