Balled up toilet paper and crumbs of some kind left in my bed. All three beds my group had looked like they were slept in without cleaning.

Experience is spoilt by the front desk staff and their total lack of rationality and logic.
El hostal no estaba limpio la habitación muy muy sucia y el agua de la ducha no era muy caliente y por ser en Marzoco el clima de Londres si que es algo que afecta
The hostel was not clean the room was very very dirty and the shower water was not very hot and being in March the climate of London if that is something that affects
Bathroom never got cleaned the entire time I was there. I saw 2 mice running around the 3rd floor. I’ve stayed at different St. a Christopher’s locations before, and these were by far the most rude and standoffish staff I’ve ever encountered. PLEASE save yourself the time and look elsewhere if you have other options.
Our hostel experience here was not great. The location is nice, but overall was not a good experience. The staff took our sheets and pillows before our stay was over, so on the last night, we basically slept on nothing. The power in our room was not working, and we had no way to charge our devices, and the staff didn't believe us when we told them. Additionally, we thought the atmosphere wasn't great. Nice location, fun bar, terrible service.
Have no clue how this hostel is rated as highly as it is. No kitchen facilities, common room consists of a tiny room with a few couches, a kettle, and a microwave with a broken handle. Rooms had a terrible odour and broken lockers. Half of the toilets on each floor seem to be permanently locked, and the ones that aren't are crawling with cockroaches. The pub downstairs can also be quite noisy during the evenings. Only positives were the friendly staff and the location.
INGLÉS I was only there for 3 days and it was enough to end up covered in welts all over my body from animal bites that were in the bed and there were rats in the rest area, expensive and terrible place to stay. ESPAÑOL Solo estuve 3 días y fueron suficientes para terminar lleno de ronchas en todo el cuerpo por picaduras animales que había en la cama y había ratas en el área de descanso, costoso y pesimo lugar para hospedarse.
Lage ist gut. Das ist aber auch das einzigste. Von Sauberkeit kann man hier nicht sprechen. Die Toiletten waren immer extrem schmutzig. In den Badezimmern war schwarzer Schimmel an den Decken. Die Duschen waren immer voller Haare und Dreck. In meinem Hochbett klebten über mir 2 Kaugummis und meine Füße sind voller Bettwanzen Bisse. Auch generell die ganze Atmosphäre war nicht sehr angenehm und auch nicht sozial. Ich kann dieses Hostel nicht weiterempfehlen.
The location is good. but that's the only thing. you can't talk about cleanliness here. the toilets were always extremely dirty. in the bathrooms there was black mold on the ceiling. the showers were always full of hair and dirt. in my bunk bed 2 gummies were sticking over me and my feet are full of bed bug bites. also in general the whole atmosphere was not very pleasant nor social. i can't recommend this hostel further.
Not too sure how it has an 8.1 star rating as the bathroom facilities were very unclean. the showers had no hot water, pads on the floor and all the bins in every single bathroom were so full, some with clogged sinks too. Hair all over the floor seemed like no cleaning had been done in weeks. Rooms were cold and mouldy smelling. We booked an airbnb instead and lost all our money. One of the receptionists was lovely though.

Hostel is great but had a horrible experience with two of the staff members. There are no outlets in the bathroom and The outlet in my room wasn’t working so i used the outlet in the hallway next to the hair dryer provided to straighten my hair. Two of the staff members forced me to do my hair outside on the roof like a dog bc they said my hair made the place “smell” and could cause a fire. It was just racist and uncalled for
The hostel was great, but the doors banged really loud and there was a green light on all night in the room, making it difficult to sleep.

Bar specials for alcohol and food, roof terrace for smoking, lounge with a microwave. The location is very good in a fun area. Many good shops. Awesome bus and underground services.
Stayed here twice now. Staff is friendly (Porter at the desk helped me check in super quickly) and location great with river and Tube access. Beds are fine, have curtains which is nice. Kinda an older crowd, and not super social with poor hangout spots. The deal you get at the bar is great though (£3.80 pints always). Overall meets expectations.
Great place to stay in terms for its price value! Staff are really helpful and kind especially Porter.
Porter was amazing and great service
Good location, stayed here to be close to an underground line to the O2 and was perfect. Stayed in a private room - was as expected. Beds were quite hard but other than that had a good nights sleep.
Ben situat i bona acollida. He dormit en una habitació compartida mixta de 21 persones amb taquilla (has de portar tu el cadenat). Correcte en general. Però, els endolls USB no funcionaven als llits a tota la cambra. I la segona i darrera nit algun bitxo m'ha picat tots els braços (potser una aranyeta, no sé). M'han picat els braços durant tot el dia i ja veurem demà. Els lavabos, dutxes i WC necessiten reformes Generals.
I slept in a mixed shared room for 21 people with a locksmith (you have to wear a lock). Generally correct. However, the USB end-alls didn't work as the lights were all over the room. In the second and last night some thing bit my arms (maybe a goldfish, I don't know). They bit my arms all day and I'll see you tomorrow. The sinks, showers and toilets need general reforms.
Thank for staff. Breakfast so delicious. Chill Out Room was good.
Pretty good hostel! The bathrooms were really small with inconsistent water temperature and pressure and the the toilets would randomly stop working fairly frequently. The beds had a good amount of privacy though. There was some weird spot of gunk I noticed on my bed rail on the last day though that was kind of gross and looked like mold so they could possibly do a better job of cleaning
Je ne viendrai plus dans cette hostel que pourtant j avais choisi sans hésiter pour son emplacement. Mais il st vrai qu a chaque séjour il y a une ou plusieurs déceptions. La première la voici : recevoir plusieurs emails disant que pour nous faire gagner du temps on peut faire le Check in online, ou l’on doit scanner son passeport autoriser l’usage de l’image. Bref cette fois ci, alors que mon voyage était bref j ai perdu bcp de temps à cause de l’ auberge.
I will never come back to this hostel which I had chosen without hesitation for its location. but it is true that in every stay there are one or more disappointments. the first one is this: receiving several emails saying that to save us time we can check in online, or we have to scan our passport to allow the use of the image. briefly this time, while my trip was brief I lost a lot of time because of the hostel.

The staff and location are excellent.. Facilities could be better. Some toilets were out of order in the dorm areas. The private double room was wonderful. Lockers and breakfast were down a deep staircase so very difficult for someone with mobility issues, like me.
Really fun stay, I'm pretty introverted so the capsules worked well for me as I was able to pull the curtain and sit in there the whole time without socialising. They do get a little hot and they play music downstairs until quite later but they provide earplugs and I didn't find the music disturbed my sleep that much. I was on the top row though idk about the bottom. Bathrooms were pretty disgusting but the rest of the place felt very clean. Great location, close to a lot of things.
