First time at a Hostel, TERRIBLE experience. Insane old lady above me literally demonic. All of us young girls in there thought we were gonna get stabbed. The staff had to have known she was not mentally ok to be staying in that hostel let alone with a bunch of young female travelers. This is the most unsafe I have ever felt in my entire life. Also not very clean, no curtains, just not a great experience at all. Bathroom situation not great.

There were extremely old men in the mixed dorms so felt unsafe as a young female traveller. Got a tonne of bed bug bites and a random rash from the bed. Staff didn't even show me where the bathrooms were when I checked in. Very unsatisfactory!

Poorly managed. The atmosphere was pretty good, security and location were fine, but it was poorly managed. I stayed two nights, and was moved to a different bed the second night without being told. Was woken up in the middle of the night to someone complaining I was in his bed. The staff member that was at reception at the time was not very helpful, and seemed more keen on arguing then solving the problem. A frustrating situation that was out of customer control and should never have happened.

I accidentally booked for the night I was doing the booking at 10:30 pm instead of the next night. When I asked if it would be possible to change dates or get a refund, since it was a clear mistake and didn’t cost them anything, I got a condescending lecture on refundable vs. non-refundable bookings. Despite the fact it wouldn’t have been refundable under their policy even with a refundable booking. You’re just $ to them.

Paid for a private room for £86/night. The hostel is located on a very busy road and despite having ear plugs, I could hear traffic all night as well as people moving in the building. Sound travels! I had brought my own sheets which I used but the sheet provided were not clean with hair on them. The building is very old and run down. The bathrooms are not very clean. Finally, although I locked my room, it was unlocked when I returned (I checked multiple times to make sure it was locked).

Warning for females: They have no toilets all 5 toilet facilities were out of order also they’ve blocked the windows so you can’t open them and the rooms are like saunas

Great if you want to make friends. The vibe is really easy and everyone is very sociable. I would say the kitchen is the highlight of the hostel. As for the facility the rooms and bathrooms are pretty dirty, beds included. If you want to secure your luggage you have to buy locks which start from £7 and they rent you towels for £4. Basically no services included

This hostel was more of a long term stay for unique individuals. It was not at all clean like it was in the pictures, the place is tiny and had no air-con, the staff weren’t friendly, the people who were ‘long termers’ were rude and very cliquey and the vibe was totally not it, we wish we had chosen elsewhere we were looking for somewhere else to stay, for such a small space they shouldn’t cram that many people in a tiny place like that for health reason, if I could get a refund I would,...

Our stay, at Prime Backpackers Angel was nothing like the pictures entailed. The property was over, crowded and dirty. There was no space to secure your luggage, within the rooms. The rooms were not cleanly, with stains on the walls and windows open fully to the street - some windows were held open with a stack of books, which we watched fall from the fourth story. The common areas were great - the kitchen was spacious and had lots of appliances, the dining table was big, and the projector was a great feature. I also really enjoyed the courtyard. However, the bunk beds were incredibly squeaky, the floors didn't feel like they had been cleaned properly, the shared bathrooms had lots of grime on the walls, and the lock for the toilet (at least on the second floor), was almost falling off. I did appreciate having the 3rd floor bathroom as an option though.

Het hostel was oké. De kamer was te klein voor het aantal mensen die er sliepen, bedden instabiel en de kamer was mede vanwege het warme weer te benauwd. De foto’s van het hostel matchen niet met hoe de kamers er daadwerkelijk uit zien. In de douche heb je weinig ruimte om je spullen te laten. De plek is centraal wat fijn was. Maar in een grote stad als Londen maakt het niet heel veel uit, alles is uiteindelijk ver uit elkaar. Ik zou het hostel niet aan iemand aanbevelen

Die Lage ist perfekt, man kommt schnell mit Bus oder Tube in alle Ecken der Stadt und das Viertel ist schön grün und ruhig. Mein Zimmer war nach hinten raus, sodass ich nachts das Fenster geöffnet lassen konnte. Leider sind die Betten sehr wacklig und ich bin jede Nacht mehrmals aufgewacht, weil sich die Person über mir bewegt hat.

It was really comfortable and you have space to make your food, to watch TV… I totally recommend it!

Overall prime backpackers was good value for money. No frills backpackers - limited facilities but the rooms were clean, had decent showers and bathroom facilities.

I only stayed one night and I found the place well located, fairly clean and peaceful. The kitchen is big, tidy and clean as well, with many facilities. We had free coffee and crepes as it was Sunday. I found a lovely environment overall although there was this old woman in our 9 bed female room under my bed that looked suspicious and smelt antihigenic. I would recommend this place.

Great atmosphere and staff. Recommend staying- one of the best hostels in London by far.

Great value for money, helpful staff, convenient location and surprisingly for a hostel environment it’s somewhere that you can get your head down and focus on work if need be. Enough space to chill out and watch a movie or cook yourself a meal and get a homely vibe with other people staying there, with a good mix of ages and locals plus travellers from all over.

There is something really special/homely abt the hostel in a deep sense, as per the logo: "A Home away from Home." I'd stay at Prime 3d/week in 2024 to be close to Uni, and thereon lived semi-permanently July '25 onwards, until finishing my work. I've seen numerous tourists, creatives/EU/UK/London crowds visit once & be part of the tribe/volunteer/stay long-term/keep returning. Amazing parties too. Something karmic about the builiding+people Top community, facilities & a true London experience.

Staying at Prime Backpackers was really comfortable and nice, people are friendly and it's easy, I think the only thing which I experienced a bit negatively were the showers/bathrooms, there is one room with showers and a toilet right next to it, it's not very hygenic and the facilites are a bit rough, other than that we had a great time!

I visited most best rated-hostels in London and so many others around the world. I have never felt more uncomfortable than here, very old and long term creepy residents made the place feel less safe. Also a couple of arguments/fights between them at the kitchen. Location is great and beds are comfy. Do not recommend.

excelente ubicacion, cerca del metro a 30 min de cualquwcualquwir actividad. muy buen lugar. me toco justo una ducha tapada que se le subia el agua, pero fuera de eso todo bien
