This hostel is a cash grab for desperate backpackers. There was ONE shower and two toilets for the entire hostel. One of those toilets was in the shower room so in the evning and mornings, you were basically stuck waiting for the bathroom. On my last night, i walked into the shower room to find the door of the shower completely fallen off and laying on the wall. They also put me in a room with only old men and didnt even try and out another girl with me. I guess that ones on me though

Terrible experience. Felt like we were paying to stay at a homeless shelter. We stayed for 4 nights, and for 3 of them there was a much older lady snoring like a lawnmower all. Night. Long. Nobody slept. The room was hot as hell, for some reason in the back rooms they keep the thermostat at like 27 degrees Celsius and it’s a nightmare. It felt dangerous (for reference we were 3 young women) - there were weird older men who would use the same bathroom and literally go into stalls and grunt. Toi...

This hostel was absolutely jarring and as a woman I felt scared going into the bathrooms and common areas. The other people staying here were much much older and it honestly felt a bit like a homeless shelter. The rooms were absolutely BOILING HOT it was so hard to sleep with that and also scary people making weird noises across the tiny room. IF YOU ARE A WOMAN DO NOT GO HERE. Felt soooo unsafe. My room was a woman only room and even then I felt like I was running in and out of the common bathr...

I usually love staying in hostels and I’m not particularly sensitive, especially since I travel on a budget. However, this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I would not recommend staying here if you’re traveling solo. The atmosphere felt very uncomfortable, with mostly older men who were extremely intoxicated and seemed to be staying there after heavy drinking. During the night, they made a lot of noise and were constantly going in and out of the room, which made it very diff...

It was disgusting. Like a prison. Nothing like the photos at all! Block toilets broken showers. Beds were very uncomfortable and overall gross. Wouldn't even give it 2 out of 5 it would be 0!

If you have some offers, and then when one goes to avail it, you say its not available, then how does it make one feel?

Great location, clean rooms and toilets and friendly stuff.

Before arrival, I was already disappointed with their customer service via email. I made a mistake, but they didn’t care. Upon arrival, front desk was rude and told me to wait until check in time without even trying to look up my booking. Pub was empty and no atmosphere. Wouldn’t recommend for a solo traveller. Need charging ports for each Bed

El staff super bien, resolutivo. Las instalaciones meh. Pocas duchas y baños, los individuales sucios o mojados. Las camas sin cortina y las camas de arriba con dificil acceso a los enchufes. Pague una habitacion de 8 y me dieron una de 6 a mitad de capacidad. El barrio complicado de noche. No volvería

L’auberge est à 15min à pied de la gare kings cross donc super le personnel est assez froid, les toilettes, douches étaient + que sales!! les lits à étages sont en acier donc un infime mouvement du voisin du dessus et vous êtes réveillés en sursaut.. Enfin mes draps PUAIENT la transpiration et il faisait beaucoup trop chaud dans la chambre, oú il n’y avait aucune intimité (pas de plaque en bois ni de rideaux)

Really enjoyed my latest visit to The Exmouth Arms. This is a place I really do like. The room was very nice indeed with a comfortable bed. Adequate amount of shower and toilets though it can get busy on a morning .Everywhere gets cleaned during the morning and the staff are pretty diligent. Security here is very good Lively atmosphere downstairs in the bar on most nights. Terrific music they play here. A big thanks to Femi and the rest of the crew for being helpful and assisting.

Stay there: if you want a basic yet authentic experience at the top-notch location for Eurostar travellers. Don´t stay there: if you are looking for peace, quiet and luxury.

Overall good experience. Bed relatively comfy, would love to have a small lamp and a power outlet. Low water pressure but clean showers. Would like to have either paper towels or a hand dryer in the bathroom.

good value, cheap and good location. quite spaceous rooms for London

It was a good hostel with a convenient location. Bed was ok, but there was nowhere to put things onto (chair, table) other then the locker. The pubaytmosphere was nice and cozy.

For this kind of money, this hostel is okay. It's a bit outdated, for example the floor in our mixed room had crooked/sunked. The showers are normal, but there is nowhere to place your stuff next to the sink when washing your teeth or face. The same problem appeared in our room - there was no tables, chairs nor racks to place your things. Just a cage to place your bag. I think the hostel should add some chairs to the rooms so it would be more comfortable. Overall okay, but it could be better.

Great location, easy to get to camden/city centre. Dorms were basic but clean. Lockers aren't big enough if you have more than a small backpack.

Can't cook, not enough bathrooms, the dorms are noisy as, I've stayed in a lot of hostels, but this one was just straight up disappointing. If your dont need to socialise (ie not a solo traveler) and sleep like an elephant it may be okay though.

only stayed the one night so I didn't really get to experience much but it seems like a great spot to stay. I wish I had been able to try the food like I wanted to.
