Staff were not helpful and don’t explain how things work within the food and trips side of things , please avoid by any means as the place is not convenient and has an atmosphere like a dry wall

The place is nice however on our first night I was waken up by one of the staff member at 4am completely drunk asking me to come and have a drink. Obviously said no he then went to two other dorms only waking up girls. Next morning we said it to the manager he said it was not his responsibility, didn’t do anything about it. The guy from the staff said a shy sorry after 2 days. He is still working there. We managed to convince the manager to give us the night for free but he made us feel guilty...

Don't stay here! The workers, all of them, including the administrator Daniel, have a bad attitude, they do not attend to you, they are the ones who are on vacation and go from beach to beach and smoking everything, all day, Daniel was especially rude, none of the rooms have AC or There is a fan and it is very hot, the room does not close. On the other hand, although the hostel is in a territory with a black population, they are only in cleaning and cooking tasks. Area is beautiful, not hostel.

This was few months ago, but one of the owners of the hostel tried to break into my private room while i was sleeping with my boyfriend at midnight.

DO NOT STAY HERE !! So many things wrong with this place I don’t even know where to start… the journey is immensely tricky to navigate and far more intense than they make out - they say on their website it’s one boat, but it’s actually two; one from Buenaventura and one TINY boat from a small ocean towns pier which they don’t mention anywhere; which is immensely misleading and seemed very dangerous and unnerving at the time. Overrated

They were rude on rhe checkout, wanted to charge extra 20% bwcausw I paid with credit, even though it wasnt told us before

Beautiful location and views, unfortunately we felt let down by the hostel in general so I wouldn’t recommend staying there. For the price we paid the dorm wasn’t great, the door didn’t close properly which meant we were woken up by rodents, there’s no fans so it is also very hot and the bed / pillows are terrible. The food was a massive let down, really didn’t taste good and because the hostel is so far from the town you didn’t really have much choice than to have dinner there.

Me encanta el hostal y lo recomiendo 100%. Localización privilegiada, mucha privacidad. Ventaja: desconexión total, no hay wifi, difícil teletrabajo. Der Ort liegt mitten in der Natur direkt am Meer und hat eine wunderschöne Lage. Leider waren wir vom Hostel etwas enttäuscht. Wir wollten die Ruhe der Natur genießen, aber den ganzen Tag lief laute Musik. In der ersten Nacht ging sie sogar bis etwa 2–3 Uhr morgens. fyi: bei zu wenig Regen kann es vorkommen, dass kein Wasser vorhanden ist. Das Essen war für die kleinen Portionen relativ teuer (ca. 40.000). Viele der angekündigten Gerichte waren gar nicht verfügbar.

This Hostal is a true retreat. The staff helped with every request and question. Above and beyond kindness and eagerness to make it the best stay. The land is a paradise, lots to enjoy to unwind and also have fun. Helped with allergies and language barriers, so grateful.

Pacifico Hostel is a hidden paradise! Its such a wonderful place! They have a private beach which is super clean and flows directly into the jungle. Most places around Juanchaco are very contaminated and full of plastic but you don't notice that at Pacifico Hostal. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and the food is delicious. They have their own little jungle walk, and swimming with the bioluminescent plankton at night was a highlight.

incroyable hôtel dans la jungle, à quelques minutes du village de Juanchaco. l’endroit est magnifique, plongé dans la nature, avec des accès à l’océan & beaucoup d’endroits où se poser pour profiter des alentours. beaucoup d’activités sont proposées pour découvrir les environs. la nourriture est correcte.

L’hostel est isolé dans la nature ce qui est très sympa pour se ressourcer, avec de beaux paysages. Cependant, les parties communes (wc, douches) ne sont pas super propre et éloignées des dortoirs. On est très dépendant des repas de l’hostel qui je trouve sont assez chers… concernant le personnel il est composé pour majorité de bénévoles, qui sont souvent sur leur téléphone donc on sait pas trop qui travail vraiment… Sur hostelworld il y avait marqué pdj inclus et sur place ...

it's a great place to rest and it has a lot of activities which are really cheap. I would appreciate if it had an internet connection

My expectations were high with this accommodation but unfortenely i did not have a good time. First of all, they don't tell you that you are OBLIGATED to eat what their staff kitchen offers, because they don't let you use the facilities, even though they call themselves a 'hostel'. It is an expensive meal and not very tasty. Besides that, the beaches nearby are very dirty, you can see that on the boat on the way to get there and also when the tides are low. Very beautiful property. My only issue was the bathroom was far from dorms but the price was reasonable with this. Food is fairly priced as we found it was the same in town, the community is remote so understandable prices. This pizza is really good. There may be issues with power or signal but its an opportunity to disconnect and all the activities were awesome! Unreal experience

Great place to stay overall! The vibe is very chill, it's a great place to reconnect with nature. The cost of food added up a bit, but it's understandable because it's a bit of a remote location.

Pasé unos días agradables en este lugar, la naturaleza es increíble, hay muchos lugares donde puedes relajarte y observar el mar o solo recostarte y dormir un poco.

Endroit isolé, idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter de la beauté du Pacifique. On est un peu dépendant des repas de l’hôtel mais on a fait quelques provisions à Juanchaco et c’était parfait ! Le personnel et les volontaires sont adorables

Die Lage des Hostels und Gestaltung sind sehr schön, alles ist sauber. Die Toiletten sind sehr weit von den Dorms entfernt. Volunteers und Festpersonal tragen offen Unstimmigkeiten aus. Es gibt kein WLAN für Gäste, aber das Personal scrollt in/bei den Hängematten durch Reals, natürlich laut und ohne Kopfhörer. Mooi hostel afgelegen in een rots in de natuur. Perfect voor als je even wilt relaxen. Voordat ik heen ging had ik gelezen over de reviews over het personeel, maar het personeel is erg aardig als je het tijd geeft.

This place is really made of its surroundings, the hostel is directly by the water and in the middle of the jungle at the same time, the nature is amazing! They have nice common areas and they offer a lot of fun tours. Although the mattresses in the dorm were quite uncomfortable. Definitely a spot that is suitable more for the natture loving kind, its simple but nice and chill. An amazing place to relax and unwind. Food is quite expensive ca. 30 000 COP, but they provide water
