+ First night - room zero sound proofing impossible to sleep- extremely noisy next to main gate . Impossible to sleep. Second day AirPods(max stolen. Sh*thole.

- I didn’t liked the noise from outside from the guests and the traffic Bad windows couldn’t close them This is a place for youngsters that like to party party party Not for anyone that had past all those things

- This place is a devils donjon. The worst experience ever. They made us wait 5 hours to check in after we arrived at 9am and told them how tired we were from a 12 hour flight and 12 hour train ride. They had ready to go rooms as we walked around the property and saw but they lied and told us the rooms weren’t available. Even though we requested a room on a higher floor they gave us ground floor which was super loud and difficulty to sleep at night. The manger and the boy behind the computer were disgusting in their treatment and lack of service. The owners are terrible people to attract this type of workers and probably treat the workers like shit. Overall it ruined our experience of Palermo and I have nothing positive to say about the city itself because we were left in such bad mood to enjoy anything. It was overpriced more than anything as well on top of everything else. And for a hostel. Can you imagine that. I really hope they go one of business soon for scamming travelers and ruining precious experiences for people.

+ The service attitude of the staff was very bad. When I needed help from the reception staff, they ignored me and even walked right past me.

+ RACIST WHITE PRIVILEDGED FUCKING RACISTS, PLEASE DON'T COME IF YOU ARE NOT WHITE who does'nt loce this ! nothing made sense, it is dirty, the kitchen, the floor the couches, don't trust there aren't any bed bugs !!! because there was a Lot !! Also some of the stsff were really rude, and passove agressif. Please flee from this Hostel and go to catania or RBnB

- EVERYTHING They asked me to leave directely because i was late for the check out, And also they accuse me of stealing a jacket which i didn't do ... + The common area.

- I booked this place based on all the good reviews, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. While the staff was friendly and the building seemed nice at first glance, if you’re looking for a place to sleep comfortably and feel safe, this is not it. As a solo female traveler who has stayed in many hostels around the world, this was one of my worst experiences. When I checked in around 9 p.m., the room was already dark, with no space to change or unpack besides the two bathrooms in the room. Other guests were already sleeping, so I couldn’t turn on the light or make any noise. The hallways were equally unwelcoming, with motion-sensor lights that turned off after just a few seconds, leaving everything in darkness. The bathrooms were dirty and smelled terrible, with the shower area included inside them, making it uncomfortable to use. I finally managed to change and settle in, but the bed (a top bunk) hadn’t been made, so I had to put the sheets on myself. The ceiling was low, and I kept having to watch out not to bump my head. The air conditioning was blasting cold air, and being on the top bunk made it worse. I couldn’t turn it off or adjust it, so I ended up wrapping a T-shirt around my head. The only blanket was a thin, dirty sheet that smelled awful and clearly hadn’t been washed. Throughout the night, people kept coming in and out, struggling with the same lighting issues and dropping their things. I couldn’t sleep at all, and there was no curtain or anything to give me privacy. To make matters worse, there was an older man in the bed next to me, and he kept staring at me, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. It would be thoughtful of the management to consider offering separate dorms for women and men to make female travelers feel safer. Additionally, adding a small space or table with decent lighting near the room doors would make a huge difference.

+ The location close to the port is convenient, there are terraces with sun loungers

- I arrived at 3pm (check in from 2:30pm). There was a queue at reception, no one said hello to me until it was my turn. The receptionist gave me a piece of paper with codes and explained how to find my room. I went to the room alone (I was not escorted in) and found used linen on the bed and a dirty floor in the room and bathroom. I went back to the front desk and reported it. A staff member called someone and informed me that I would have to wait half an hour or an hour as the room had not been cleaned and they would take care of it. As an apology, I was offered a coin for a free drink (without even asking if I wanted one!) When I got back to the room, the maid was there. I said hello and she said nothing and kicked my suitcase with the door. There are no curtains by the beds in the room. The air conditioning cannot be turned off or the power changed and I caught a cold. The door is very difficult to open. If I could give a zero, it's a zero for the service and for the complete lack of understanding of the hostel atmosphere (such spaces should be soulful and friendly). - Everything! Disgusting property by all means! I discourage everyone to stay at this property. The beds and the room look exactly like an old hospital, the food is disgusting and very little variation. The staff is extremely rude and don’t speak English. This hostel is a chaos, you can’t even sleep at night from the extreme noise at the property even at 4:00 am in the morning. The location is not that close to the city center. Don’t believe the photos you see on the website, and don’t waste your money! We paid everything in cash in advance and the unprofessional lady at the front desk still placed an authorization of the full amount on my credit card. The only kind and professional person at the hostel was Andre who was temporarily training the staff at the hostel, but unfortunately he left, so just wanted to say thanks to Andre!
