Old dirty rundown hostel.

Overall I didn’t feel safe here, there’s no lock on the entrance to the hostel and no lock on the dorm either, so I was never given a key. There’s someone at the front desk overnight but I don’t know how he knows who is a guest vs a stranger walking in. The faculties were okay, not luxury but clean. I checked out asap into somewhere more secure.

Vond de ontvangst niet heel welkom, geen rondleiding. De kluisjes waren te klein en de sfeer was kil en de kamer super rommelig. Dit laatste ligt niet aan het hostel maar voelde me er niet heel prettig bij, daarom na aankomst toch maar iets anders geboekt.

The property was nice and cheap. We got a room that definitely does not look like the photos - more like a wooden cabin. The staff was unfriendly, had several cases where we expected another feedback. English is as well as challenge - but that’s fine. :)

Not very hostelly... apart from the kitchen there is no place to hang out but a table in the courtyard and there was no bonfire on both nights of my stay. My blanket smelled very musty. It was very good that I could check-in in the middle of the night and you can easily book great trips through the reception.

Relaxing and quiet hostel.

Mooie privékamer met lekkere dons. Niet veel sfeer, te weinig badkamers en geen olie/kruiden/goede pannen in de keuken.

Shared a private twin room which was really nice. The receptionist was really lovely and helpful (sorry I can’t remember her name). The hostel itself was really quiet and it seemed like there was only a couple of other people there. This wasn’t an issue for us as we just wanted to chill out

Esse hostel tem muito potencial, lindo espaço e o staff é local, amável e cuida muito bem de tudo. A limpeza, os quartos e cama são de ótima qualidade. No entanto falta investimento, principalmente nós utensílios de cozinha que estavam velhos e estragados. A localização é boa, mas em torno de 15min caminhando do centro. Adorei que oferecem toalhas e lavanderia. Pelo custo benefício, foi um ótimo hostel.

We only stayed one night but it was awesome. The room was big and clean, and the bathrooms were very clean as well. David at the front desk was very funny and welcoming. It was quiet at night which was perfect for us because we had an early morning shuttle. If we ever come back to San Cristobal we would definitely stay at this hostel for longer!

Muy buen lugar. Cerca del centro de San Cristóbal. El personal fue muy amable y al pendiente.

I ended up extending my stay. There were not a lot of people at the hostel, but the ones who were there were great people. If you want a fire at night, you have to ask, as it is not always people there. They will gladely set up a fire. Recommended more for relaxing and less for party ✌️

Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable. el personal siempre fue amable… cocina limpia, camas cómodas…

nuestra estancia en rossco fue maravillosa. el personas es muy amable, cercano y atento. las instalaciones son bonitas, amplias y limpias. sin duda lo recomendamos! :)

Me encantó este hostel. Precio increíble, ubicación a 15 minutos del zócalo y muy cerca del mercado artesanal y de comida. Las camas muy cómodas, muy limpio y las fogatas dan un ambiente especial. Estuve por acá diez días y me hubiera quedado muchos más si no era porque me tocaba seguir viaje. Lo recomiendo muchísimo!!!

It was a very good hostel overall. A bit out of town but I didn’t mind it. Only 10 min walk from the main square. I loved the fire every night. When I was there there wasnt a huge athmosphere to be honest which I would have liked, but that changes night by night so can’t fault the hostel for it. Overall I’d definitely recommend it

Great place to stay and explore! The staff are lovely and will help organise tours and extra nights easy. Private room has a huge, comfortable bed which was great! Fire each night to meet people was awesome too. Only downfall is no drinking water provided like most hostels and kitchen is very dark to cook in. Could do with some more utensils and actual sharp knives but that's the only downfall. Would happily come back!

Muy hermoso el lugar, la ubicación y su gente.

ein Hostel in dem man sich wirklich wohlfühlen kann! wirklich nettes Personal und ein sehr schöner Innenhof. Achtung vor dem Leitungswasser, besser mit Trinkwasser die zähne putzen, wir haben jetzt schon oft mitbekommen, dass Leute von dem Wasser in San Cristobal krank wurden, wir eingeschlossen. Gibt aber deutlich schlimmere Orte um sich schlecht zu fühlen. Das Hostel bietet viele Touren an, welche unserer Erfahrung nach ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis haben.

I loved staying at Rossco, it felt peaceful and social when you felt like it. I loved the fire in the evenings and the outdoor spaces in general felt nice to relax in. The staff were super sweet and helpful. The kind of place I could spend longer!

Excelentes instalaciones. El personal muy amable. Muy recomendable. Podría tener la cocina un poquito mas equipada. Eso es todo.

A great place to stay for the price! They have a kitchen and a few areas to relax! The showers were great, and the beds/blankets were amazing! It's just a bit out of town but honestly I would go back!
