Chaweng Terrace

Worsttt experience. Totally scamed by the hostel. We stayed one night during the moon day party, when we out for the party, someone theft all our money which is around 15000 bhat from our locked luggage. We didn’t know that and left the room. When we realised the moment and contacted them, no response. Please don’t choose this hostel.

this place was a catfish, the photos look good but in reality it’s terrible. bad location right near a main road and airport so you can hear everything. in our room there was a leaking toilet which smelt so bad. the a/c didn’t work so it was constantly hot and the bed sheets were not clean. if i could give this place 0 stars i would we checked out 2 hours after we got there and went back to our other hotel. will never come back to this place, do not recommend!!

Niet schoon en veel lawaai. Begrijp dan ook de vorige reviews totaal niet. S'nachts veel lawaai van de bars/restaurants en de drukke weg. Verder vieze handdoeken en beddengoed. Na aangeven, opnieuwe vieze bloedvlekken in het beddengoed. Echt geen aanrader.

Expensive for what it was, balcony doors didn’t shut so it was so loud. It’s on a main road, so all you can hear is party taxis going past and people shouting. The hostel door got stuck so we got locked out, because the key and lock were so stiff. The bed was solid and super uncomfortable. When you used the shower it meant everything got soaked in the whole bathroom and bathroom flooded. Didn’t provide any drinking water, which many hostels usually do. Do not recommend :)

Staff and location were great! And here goes my only bad review… Rooms are not as seen in pictures (no decorate cushions, awful view) there was a dead large cockroach in my bathroom and the mugs were covered in dust, so I don’t know when the room was last cleaned!

Waren zu dritt nur für eine Nacht dort. Im Waschbecken im Bad lief kein Wasser, die Bettwäsche war dreckig und uns hat es die ganze Nacht überall gejuckt. Die dritte Person hatte keine richtige Decke, sondern nur eine Überwurfdecke, an der fremde Haare waren. Alle Möbel extrem abgenutzt und alt. Die Lage ist gut, wenn man feiern gehen möchte. Très mauvaise expérience : coupure d’eau (lavabo et douche) à partir de 21h sans avoir été prévenues par le staff et bruit toute la nuit d’un camion et de sa pompe au niveau des évacuations d’eau juste devant notre fenêtre. Niveau sécurité, nous étions dans une chambre au rez de chaussée donnant sur le parking avec une baie vitrée comme seule protection sonore et physique. Nous qui pensions nous reposer après quelques nuits compliquées, raté…

Really not a great place to stay in the area. I would recommend Lub d over this as this is literally a hotel with no social space or atmosphere. If you want a quiet night in then this is the spot

Simple hotel. Close to airport. Not much else going for it.

Not really a hostel, it’s a hotel and they’ve put bunk beds in some of the rooms. The rooms are tiny and there’s no “hostel” facilities - no curtains, tiny room, no socialising, and only two outlets in room (one was behind bed frame). The bathroom was pretty bad and we kept having to ask for toilet paper and change the bins. The lock on the door was broken and the door kept opening, bathroom door as well. Glad only two in the room as I can’t see how 4 would fit. Service lady was love...

Overall okay stay here. It was in a noisy but useful location. Not far to walk to the beach etc. Staff were really helpful, on the first day we had an issue with the cleanliness of our room and the staff corrected this straight away which we were really grateful for. Rooms aren’t well soundproofed so you can hear literally everything so bring ear plugs!

Very clean and comfortable! Good central location while still being quiet. Booked for additional night!

The room was not like the images at all. No view and the bed sheets were very stained. There were questionable marks on the pillow cases and sheets. I am not picky, but definitely did not get what I expected based on the images.

Overall great hostel w/ amazing staff in a central and safe location. The lockers have their own locks so not worrying about buying a lock was nice. The food available for purchase is also worth it.

Waren hier für eine Nacht bei der Durchreise. Das nette Personal und die zentrale Lage sprechen dafür für eine Nacht wiederzukommen. Leider ist es aber ziemlich laut (einerseits wegen der zentralen Lage, andererseits wegen vielen Partygästen und den Flugzeugen direkt über dem Kopf), aber wie gesagt für die Durchreise perfekt. Eingangstür unten ist 24/7 geöffnet, genauso wie die Rezeption. Das Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen aber hat bis auf einen Föhn alles, was man so braucht.

The staff were very helpful and always greeted us during the day. The room was very good value for money - en-suite, refrigerator, working television, balcony and the comfiest bed we’ve had in a while on our trip. On top of this the room itself was very spacious. Housekeeping usually occurs later than expected but that’s possibly the only negative aspect. There isn’t an atmosphere as it is a hotel but that wasn’t a complaint on our end. Room was smaller and more dated than the pictures shown. We stayed in the building separate from the main reception- anyone could walk in and out at any point to security is deffo an issue. Bed and pillows were really comfy. Close to the strip and 7/11.

The bunk beds move a lot, feels not sturdy up top and room is quite cramped. Bathrooms are nice and good location

We had a private room. Didn’t notice anyone else actually staying there. We were luck to have scooters so easy to get into town otherwise about 5-10min walk depending where you go.

Nice quiet hotel. Rooms were lovely and clean, made everyday if you wished by door sign. Air conditioning was actually cold which was nice! This hotel is right next to the airport runway so is very loud with planes flying by but it’s not that often and other than that, very quiet.

Such an amazing stay at Chaweng Terrace. The rooms were very clean and it was in a great location. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

More of a hotel but great value and nice staff. quiet at night too

Great hostel! Really near Chaweng strip which is great for a night out. Not the most social, me and my boyfriend stayed in a dorm to meet people but no one moved in and there’s no social area. Saying that though, the rooms were a great size and extremely clean. The staff was so nice and helpful! Regarding going out, we just went to bars and made friends there which wasn’t difficult at all since it was so busy and fun! Would still recommend for sure!! Great value for money.
