- The place was very old, and it smelled so strongly of cleaning products that you couldn't sleep.

+ Me desculpem mas num gostei de nada,pra começar só fui pra dormir, não tive prioridade nenhuma aí, já viajei muito e nunca precisei pagar toalhas pra usar .mas enfim obg

- Não gostei de nada muita pouca vantagem . Outra coisa quarto muito quente, colchão horrível amanheci com dores nas costas nem sequer consegui dormir ,fui pra descansar e saí mais cansada .não aproveitei nada dessa estadia .

- Rooms ... some of the girls attitude.... no AC...broken doors... and many other minor annoyances. Out of 4 days we stayed only one. Next day we booked hotel and stayed there.

- Dormitorio per 10 persone senza finestre, dove la notte non di respira con una puzza terribile, letti a castello fatti di legno su cui era impossibile salire, senza scala, ma con dei buchi ai lati in cui inserire i piedi per andare al letto di sopra

+ A chegada fiquei surpreendida o quarto era partilhado com homens impossível sentir-se a vontade nada a ver com as criticas simpatia so uma pessoa da limpeza ana uma cozinha onde dis para o pessoal a partir das 8 as 10.30 não podes ir impossível cocinhar onde esta a sala y a recepção nada simpática a recepcionista fui le preguntar onde tinha um ferro de engomar tinha que esperar a te o final dos pequenos almoços acabei por não esperar resumindo não voltarei mais nota 😱

- A horrible experience. Booked for a night ended up fleeing in panic by a taxi to a 4 star hotel

+ Ci siamo sentiti truffati. Pagato 185 euro per una stanza doppia per due giorni. La stanza non era all'altezza del prezzo pagato. Abbiamo scoperto nella ricevuta che abbiamo pagato 2 volte per una stanza doppia con visita oceano. La stanza era con vista parziale, spartana con serratura bagno rotta e specchio bagno inutilizzabile.. Invio foto

- There is no air conditioning at room. There is no TV at room. There is no Parking. You have to park in a public parking and walk a distance to the hotel. There is no fridge provided at room . No drink water in room and they charge you 2 euros for a small bottle of water. Generally it was the worst experience that I’ve ever had for a hotel in the range of over 100 euros per night. I would never recommend this hotel

+ Infelizmente nada, a localização era pessima,,,, o quarto nao tinha tv,,, o preço e exagerado para a hora do horario de entrada era as 16h,, e geralmente em todo lado e ao 12,,, entramos as 16h pa sair as 11 do outro dia pessimo mesmo

+ Guests disturb Portuguese staff who think they're on holiday themselves. No matter with whom I interacted, they made me feel like an intruder who disturbs them. Before arrival I asked online to give me island bus timetable - somebody responded they don't know it. So, since I didn't know it, I ended up walking 2.5 hours from the airport to the guest house at night with a suitcase, taxis didn't stop despite waving. I wrote the hostel twice on my way. So what do you do? Normal customer service orders taxi for a guest. They didn't care, didn't respond. I could die at the doorstep - they wouldn't care.

- After arrival, a young, long-haired brunette who checked me in, was visibly annoyed to stop bonfire party with other young people up the hill and walk with me to the reception downstairs. She shouted at me instead of explaining stuff, then I noticed a printed bus timetable, framed, in the reception corner. Despite asking for the quietest room possible, they gave me a front ground floor dormitory next to the main door and publicly-available toilet. That meant door open all the time, people walking up the stairs next to this room all the time, random people accessing that toilet all the time. At midnight I went to complain to the reception man that I can hear his TV. He was visibly annoyed that I point out at him watching TV loudly, switched it off, mentioned that they have emergency rooms but I'd have to reserve it and pay online for another room, no reimbursement given. Then he lied he didn't mention any emergency room. He was patronising, lying and annoyed that he has to speak to a guest. I slept for four hours. Rooms don't have enough ventilation, people snore, leave the door open. Next morning people at breakfast were too noisy, kept main door open, so it wasn't possible for me to sleep beyond 8 am. Then, I went with my PC to work: sat upstairs to be disturbed in a few minutes by the same night receptionist, ~40 yes old Portuguese athletic male, who decided to do yoga with some girl just next to me. Female morning staff don't speak English, but could show me distrust to get a coffee and pay €1 for it later, until the Arab-like receptionist started the job and knew how to operate the card machine. Sleep on a dune. I'm sure I'd have had much better stay if I decided to sleep on sand, not there.

- L'absence d'accueil, je n'ai pas croisé le personnel sur mes 4 jours. Tout s'est effectué par WhatsApp et c'est très dommage.

- It was all so nice, nothing not to like.

+ The breakfast was OK, the location is perfect, maybe the best place on the island. 2 volunteers were really nice.

- If you didn't pay for the breakfast because you wanted to have yours you couldn't use the kitchen. The younger lady was really kind, the older wasn't.

+ It's a very quiet place in the off season time. Very pleasant, helpful people working there. Very nice long sandy beach, actually quite often swimmable water and a hidden gem Zimbralinho beach that can be reached either by bike or even by foot. Probably the best place that I have worked from.

- I could have been more social from the beginning. When there are a lot of people, it's a different place, different vibe, different type of fun, I guess. Not every evening is a super nice sunset in Calheta.

- Review do Hotel Porto Santo Destination Fui com boas expectativas, mas saí a correr. O hotel está isolado, o caminho para a praia tem espinhos — nada seguro. O espelho do quarto caiu sozinho durante a madrugada e espalhou vidro pela casa de banho. Caos total. As cadeiras do andar de cima e o próprio andar de cima mesmo à frente das suítes, estão nojentas: velhas, sujas e completamente destruídas. Deviam ir para o lixo há muito. Acabei por mudar para um all inclusive. Definitivamente , não recomendo.
