Steve's House

Le staff a été désagréable au possible. Nous a à peine parler et nous a dit qu'il ne voulait pas faire affaire avec nous. Durant les 2 nuits où on est resté, on s'est vraiment senti jugé et de trop. Une des pires auberges que j'ai faites dans le monde.

I booked a female dorm and the dorm I slept in was mixed so be aware of that when booking. Staff were lovely and good lockers and dorms aside from that.

It was really good but we had a problem with our shower and all the room was flooded

Es un lugar muy extraño a lo que uno se imagina: son unas habitaciones detrás de un restaurante por lo que es normal salir de la habitación y encontrarse gente de afuera cenando o algo y eso puede ser incómodo. Está bien ubicado al lado de la terminal de buses lo que es perfecto para ir a lado cataratas. El personal es un intermedio: ni amables si mala clase.

Great hostel in a perfect location for visiting the falls, right next to the bus station. Staff were really friendly and allowed us to leave our bags after check-out whilst at the falls. Restaurant attached to the hostel does is good value. Dorms are perfectly fine and spacious.

Ideal place for visiting the falls as a backpacker. It is just a few minutes walk to the bus station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant attached provides food also for low budgets, plenty of other restaurants close by. Big lockers is a plus. The hostel was clean but fairly basic.

The place is clean and the room is nice. Steve was super efficient to answer and the staff super helpful. In general the hostel is great and I recommended. But the pool doesn’t look so good or well taken care for and the air conditioner in the room started leaking over night which didn’t feel to save since it is above one outlet. Other than that all great, location is also great.

We loved Steve’s House! Staff was so nice and helpful, and Dorro the dog was a champ. Location is good, close to the bus station. Only minus is that there is no kitchen, but they offer lunch boxes for trips which where very nice and cheap.

Staff were super helpful! Great location, pool was nice but not the cleanest, no kitchen but cheap restaurant attached, bag storage! Solid place to stay whilst visiting the falls 💪

All in all good. But I could hear the music from the bar in my room

Great hostel, very nice staff, nothing too fancy but everything you need, especially very clean bathrooms, good rooms We had a great time Definitely recommend it to everyone !!!

Very nice hostel, excellent location close to the bus terminal, supermarket, restaurants etc. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I think the security could improve a bit, the front door is always open and there is access to the rooms from the restaurant, and the rooms don’t have keys (the lockers are very big though, so everything can fit inside).

The staff here were so very friendly and sympathetic to my travel issues and made a lovely gesture to compensate for that. My room was lovely and very clean! The only thing that wasn’t so great was the pool area. It was quite grubby and looked like it needed some maintenance. The hostel is in a great location in town. The bars and restaurants are not far to walk to and I felt safe.

Sólo el tema de que no tiene dónde cocinar, por el resto de verdad recomiendo el lugar si no requieres de hacerte de comer. Ahí hay servicio de bebidas y alimentos, sólo revisa horarios.

This place was fantastic. It didn’t have many reviews so I was hesitant but I got a private room that had a super comfy bed and pretty good water pressure. It’s attached to a restaurant so you can get very reasonably priced food for breakfast or dinner (no lunch) and the staff were very nice and helpful. And super close to bus station which is again very convenient. Only knock is that check in was a little difficult but it was a great place

Excelente lugar, las personas muy amables, la ubicación es más que perfecta si quieres salir a caminar y conocer las tres fronteras o si quieres ir a las cataratas. Si eres vegetariano te recomiendo la hamburguesa de este lugar, es la más deliciosa que jamás me había comido.

Near to the bus terminal! Thats a huge plus. Also staff is really helpful and friendly. Room was great, had a very good sleep. Food in the restaurant was also nice. All in all we had a great stay here. (Being close to the bus terminal is key!) only negative: pool is a bit dirty and the bathrooms are a bit old..

Great location next to the bus terminal. Good choice for staying a night or two to visit the falls. Room was decently comfortable and the restaurant was convenient after a long day of travel. Well priced and would recommend.
