Ivory Towers Backpacker Lodge

I would not recommend staying at this hostel. The rooms were impossible to sleep in. The mosquito situation was out of control and we were left sleepless and covered in bites that we are still itching from. The rooms had no fly screens and no fans, so we had to sleep under the covers which were too warm given the lack of fans. We also booked a 4 bed dorm and were put in a 6, which the staff just shrugged their shoulders at; this was particularly frustrating as there was no lockers for security.

Bad bikes free to take, kind of odd staff, but comfy rooms. Our food in the fridge was immediately put to 'free stuff', because we didn't label it, but there wasn't even anything to label it with and no notice you had to do it in the first place.

Our stay was fine, but not the most welcoming, and the hostel lacked cleanliness, especially in the kitchen. Especially to similar hostels in the area.

Lovely hostel, hosts were really nice and the kitchen was big! Not enough bathrooms, had to wait for the shower more than once. Also, toilets only have a sliding door. Not a lot of space in the rooms. There’s a jacuzzi and a sauna, and the garden is lovely!

At the dorm bet a wooden plank was missing leading to a very unpleasant night because the mattress was going through.

Hostel does the job. It's not the cleanest I've stayed in, but it's okay. Kitchen is big and has all you need. However, they leave the doors in the kitchen open the whole day, which makes it super cold (even when you close them they open them again). There is not much of an atmosphere.

There are mice in the kitchen.

Stayed for one night during off-peak season so it was very nice and not too busy. The rooms were not too crowded, only 3 beds in the female dorm room. The kitchen is spacious with everything you need to cook. Two lounge rooms as well with comfy couches for relaxing. Good wifi and there also is a spa pool.

Probably your only cheap choice in Fox Glacier, but it's not a bad one. It's not really social, but there's a large kitchen as well as a sauna and hot pool (which I didn't use, however). What made the place awesome for me was the free bikes you could use to get close to the glacier and/or Lake Matheson and the lookout point beyond.

All is perfect with a lot of equipment (bike, sauna, hot tub…)

Really good hostel especially for the price, chilled vibe and facilities are great. Special shoutout to the owner and his dog buddy (the main attraction)

Blissed out hostel, kept extending my stay because I was loving it. Clean, lovely kitchen, spa and inspirational quotes everywhere. Not sure what more you could want

hostel was very nice. clean and friendly staff. i stayed in the smaller building which i enjoyed because everyone was always hanging out and chatting in the small kitchen and living space. it unfotunately only has two showers and two toilets though. besides that it was a nice stay!

Good place for one night, well-equipped kitchen, clean and comfy beds

This place was a great value hostel. I found it very peaceful and everything seemed really clean. Lots of chill areas and a nice balcony with seating to have a chat. The bed was a bit uncomfortable as it was very hard but that’s the only negative feedback I have for this place :)

Gran ubicación, excelente trato del personal y máximo confort.

We only stayed a night, but they had free bikes to take to go see the glacier. Bathrooms were clean, some things in the kitchen could have been a bit cleaner maybe. When we arrived we got an all around introduction for the hiking spots.
