Central Hostel Cluj

Dirty place, bedbugs, nasty bedsheets and the host never changed them. Bathroom were in deplorable conditions. Stay clear of this hostel if you are visiting Cluj Napoca.

Ambiente sujo, não tem limpeza periódica, quartos com percevejos e instalacoes precárias. Ambiente nao é seguro, a porta fica aberta o dia e a noite inteira.

Extremely noisy untill 2am. Location is good, not clean at all very dirty.

bed bugs. nasty staff make you feel uncomfortable. disgusting rooms. unhygienic toilets. overpriced. completey rubbish... i dont normally write a review but it was really terrible

En arrivant nous avons eu l'impression de déranger et de n'a pas être entendus, alors que nous avions réservé longtemps avant Chambre : lits très mous. nous pensons que les draps avaient servi aux précédents occupants sans avoir été lavés. Il nous a été proposé d'utiliser un petit frigo de canettes Red Bulls qui était sal et moisi. A salle de bain : joints moisis, Paradoxalement, le miroir, le lavabo et la poubelle étaient propres sac neuf. Pas de linge de toilette fournis Pas...

Bed bugs. I wore PJ bottoms to sleep and my legs from the calf up are the only part of my body not terribly bit. I’m just hoping to avoid scarring at this point. Other than that, the toilets had no TP and you had to manually pull the plungers up. Rooms obviously not cleaned much. My bad for not checking reviews or beds. Great location and cat.

Last night I had the worst hostel experience of my life. When I raised a concern that I had booked a female room and they had put a man in the room, the manager became irate. He denied I had a female room, threatened to kick me out, lied, gaslighted, called me stupid, denied any refund, berated me for over 10min in front of others, then physically came and lifted my chair to dump me on the floor while I was just trying to book another place and get out. PLEASE avoid... I'm still traumatized.

One of the worst hostel I did in my life First day i got sexually harassed by an guy. i told the staff about it and they didn't take the situation seriously, i had to insist to be changed room he wanted me to change bed in the same room The next day he tried to make 'jokes' about it which wer ofensive. There was bedbugs everywhere I can only recommend to people to dodge this place.

L'acceuil est chaleureux, et le personnel est cool. MAIS, évidemment il ya toujours un MAIS La nuit a 20 euros vous allez comprendre pourquoi Les lits ne sont pas fait Poils, cheveux, CAFARD, la douche est dans un état je vous laisse imaginer. J'avais réservé pour une chambre SEUL, je me retrouve a dormir avec 3 personnes. Évidemment je n'ai oas dormit sur place, et même les personnes qui était dans la chambre mon dit que je faisais bien de ne pas dormir ici vu l'état. Au plaisir ...

I was disappointed to be frank, i booked for a 4 bed room but in reality it's a 6 bed room when asked the answer given by the host was now it's changed, btw it stinks and no space either. The kitchen is unclean and with unwashed utensiles, when the owner showed me, he told me that i need to wash them myself if i need something to use. And i guess there is no need to talk about the bathroom. They run the hostel with other name too, "Zen Hostel". Overall not a good experience.

Im Zimmer waren Bettwanzen. Nie wieder! Sonst war es für den Preis ok. Das Frauenzimmer konnte man abschließen, aber sonst kann theoretisch jeder rein und raus im Hostel.

There wasn't any kind of light on, it was all darkness. No sight of life around, no one seemed to be there. I went through with my phone flashlight and saw weitten signs of "closed for reforms". It looked complitely abandoned. Booked another place bc didnt feel safe nor comfortable.

Great location right near the heart of Cluj but what really made the place stand out was the amazing staff and the feeling of community they created in the cozy hostel! And if you think you’re good at pool or ping pong see Daniel

Super Lage. Blick in Nachbarsgarten. Nettes Personal. Leckeres Frühstück. Nette Bar im Ersgeschoss. Sauber. Und süße Katze.

If it were half the price I would have no complaints, but compare it to other hostels for the same price in different bits of Romania and you see it is not great value for money. Staff are friendly, beds mostly comfortable, location is brilliant.

Chegamos perto das 23h. Reservamos um quarto de 4 misto. Colocaram-nos num quarto de 12 misto, sem sequer informar da decisão nem pedir desculpa. Não casa de banho a funcionar. Não nos acompanharam até ao quarto nem explicaram qual seria a nossa cama. Não havia almofada nem toalha. Cama desconfortável. Quarto frio e sujo. O staff era simpático em que até nos ofereceu shots de pickles à entrada mas não supriu as fracas condições.

Booked a private room and I arrive (to no staff on site) to find out that I’ve been assigned a dorm. Credit where credit is due, they refunded me the difference. My bed mate had a horrid leg infection and the bedding did not look very clean. The bar on site is pretty basic but good. The location is nice with plenty of restaurants and sights within walking distance.
