Tamasha Goa Vagator

Listen, some of the staff were really nice and I couldn’t thank them enough. The people I met were awesome. The rest was really bad, including some of the other staff. squeezed in a room where the door hits my bed if someone opens it…

Booked this place because i thought it would be easy to meet people. Thats not true at all, only social activity was a sunset walk. No real interactions with guests. All that aside the dorms themselves sucked, horrible mattresses and super small. Advice to management do a better job with social activities because your facilities arent the best.

Good location, bad beds no curtains mouldy pillows dirty toilets

One of the worst hostels that I’ve stayed. My sandals got stolen and the water heater was down from the moment we entered the hostel! None of them were bothered to repair it even! The dorm that we stayed, the bunks were made of cheap metal and it could collapse anytime! Also the bunk that i got was just below the lamps where I had to hide my face get sleep! Really a sad trip due to which I couldn’t even enjoy the event I came for 😔😔😔

it's a good friendly hostel, host and other travellers are good, you can socialize with them and have fun, location is very nearby to all happening places in goa..dorm beds rooms are bit small and congested, but you can book private rooms and enjoy your personal space.

Well, for the staff and the atmosphere I would give 11 if possible. Very nice vibe, we had a lot of fun with the volunteers and also with the owner who just showed up. Real hostel vibe, very good location, I went at the very end of the season and still turned out having an amazing time. Worth to try!

If you wish to enjoy Tamasha at its finest, you need to look at it more as an experience rather than a stay. Tamasha is much more than the rooms or the dorms it has, it’s the people that make it what it is. Elivia our host, Rohit the manager and the two wonderful volunteers in Ansh and Aayush made our short stay there become one of our core memory. From day 1, we were welcomed in like family and that is what Tamasha stands for. Will return soon for another Cabo cocktail. Cheers!

It's one of the best budget friendly stays in Vagator Food and alcohol prices are reasonable 👌 Walkable distance from Vagator beach

This is one of the BEST hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Rohit and Jesika are amazing they took me to get the best fish ever was very welcoming and made me feel rite at home. Strongly recommend this place.

Hostel mast tha bhai! Saste mein maje mil gaye beach paas, vibe chill, aur log full crazy. Solo aya tha, par doston ka group ban gaya. Wapas aayenge fir kuch dino ki majdoori ke baad

Newly renovated and clean private room. Laid back chill vibe and atmosphere at the hostel was perfect to relax in the monsoon season in Goa. Elivia is a great engaging host and Jesika was super helpful the day I checked in even though she was covering a double shift. They both make a mean Cabo based cocktail perfect as a refreshing day drinking beverage ;)

I stayed at the Tamasha Hostel, near Vagator beach for 4 days, 3 nights trip with my friends to Goa in June 2025. The property is easy to find on the maps and is 10 mins walk to the Vagator beach. Eateries and Cafes nearby serve classic Goan food and are open till late in the night. The staff here is well versed with the places to hangout and visit around the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They also provide extra bedding if required. They also have wifi included. One downside was...

This hostel is run by a female, very enthusiastic and supportive. I recommend all female solo travellers to book this place. It felt like a home.
