Pecatu Guest House & Hostel

It was so incredibly dirty and moldy that my throat started to swell. It was truly gross I left with 2 hours of contemplating paying for a different spot

You get what you pay for it’s good value for money however the water completely stopped working 1 day after we got there so toilets couldn’t flush and no water for showers. The bathrooms weren’t clean and there was no air con in the rooms. Our friends stayed in a shared dorm and woke up in the middle of the night with hundreds of ants in their beds - Staff were nice and very apologetic. wouldn’t recommend unless on a really tight budget.

From the social area/ where the reception is you can see a massive dump/tip right next to the hostel which isn’t great. Didn’t actually end up staying the night either because they wouldn’t let my friends all stay in the same room even though we did it through the same booking. There’s far better Hostels in Uluwatu so really wouldn’t bother with this:(

I wouldn’t recommend, I checked in and then left as I felt unsafe especially as a solo female , the people were lovely but I just felt uncomfortable with the location and also quality of the hostel , also was told not to lock the door , maybe would be okay if in a group

There was mold everywhere. The ceiling in the room was dripping. The hallway was always flooded bc of the rain was leaking through the roof. The staff was friendly but always just hanging out instead of fixing everything that was broken or dirty.. I wanted to use the towel provided but it had a lot of stains on it.. would never come back here again.

Worst hostel I've stayed in. I booked myself a private room to end off my bali stint with a little treat for myself, it was a mistake. For starters, the entrance light was broken, the safe in the room didn’t work, the main light in the room was broken, the A/C didnt work (the hostel description claimed there was working A/C) so i was left with a fan in the room which hardly helped. Also, the wardrobe was falling apart, the bathroom smelled quite bad and the only available plugs were on the opp...

This was one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. I only spent one night there because I felt so uncomfortable. It was like staying in a garbage dump—there was trash everywhere. The place was absolutely filthy. The showers and toilets were so disgusting. I honestly can’t understand why this place has such good reviews. It was just awful. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone.

i stayed one night then left. very dirty the bathrooms looked like have never been cleaned. the outside era is just so messy.

I’m very happy with my stay this week! Staff is very friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed the location because it felt safe and secure. I highly recommend if you’re looking for an affordable private suite while still being able to meet cool people if you want to have fun.

I had bed bugs in my single room.This guy even told me the one before had the same problem. In the fan room. The stuff First of all just wanted to clean the sheets. Forma are the cheapest but u love like a prisioner. Its mainly Surfers there which is cool. At Night mostly the locals stay out and drink.

Staff chased us to the taxi shouting at us for reasons we’re still unaware of, bathroom situation is disgusting no atmosphere and rooms weren’t nice at all

calidad precio muy buena. esta bien ubicado para ir a surfear si uno se quiere quedar una estancia mas larga a buen precio. la habitación era basica pero no dejaba nada que desear. el baño estaba limpio y las zonas comunes eran simples pero hacen su funcion. el staff muy agradable y la ubicación muy buena en pecatu. fui en temporada de lluvias y estaban renovando el hostel, pese a eso es mas que aceptable. no esperes grandes lujos si pagas como unos 5$, pero es un lugar agradable para estar

Great stay

Weird place. There was no water coming out of the tap from the sink. The WiFi doesn’t reach the room. They let all the dogs up on to the common area sofas so they are really dirty. There is construction happening so from 8am all you can hear is drilling.

Le personnel était très très gentil mais la porte de mon dortoir ne fermait pas, j’étais seule dans le chambre. L’hostel est un peu reculé, je suis une femme seule et je ne me suis pas sentie safe du tout..

I really felt at home, the satff were so nice and helpful!! A good and cheap hostel with a perfect ambience. It has a really good vibe!

Super bon rapport qualité/prix. Ambiance au top, très bon endroit pour rencontrer des gens. Emplacement génial dans Uluwatu et staff très aimable et toujours disponibles. Je recommande !
