Harana Surf Resort

Staff is really not helful, we booked a private land tour for 3 people (3000pesos), staff told us everything was fine but none of the 4 persons we spoke too, had the intelligence to tell us that 2 of the mains attractions we wanted to do were close for 1 month. And suddenly when we came back it was not 3000 pesos anymore but 5000. We also had to argue to have a late check out because we were late with the surf lesson that HARANA organised and they wanted to charged us more… for 30min.

Nicest hostel I ever stayed! A bit expensive, but worth it.

Harana was great. I had an accident on my scooter and this was the best place to relax whilst my body mended. The grounds are so beautiful right on a little beach(not good for swimming, just surfing) free amazing breakfast every morning. The dorms were one of the nicest id been. It wasn’t massively a social hostel but because of that i made friends in my dorm. A little walk from main things but with a scooter perfect. Very clean and well run place. I loved it here.

stayed in 5 hostels in siargao and this was my favorite.best mix of good facilities, location, and easy to meet people. some tips for improvement: a whatsapp groupchat would be cool. also the ac in villa 2 didnt work very well. there are now privacy curtains but it gets a little hot sleeping behind them. wifi didnt reach the villa. staff are incredible s/o to jessica. dogs are super cute. the location is perfect btwn cloud 9 and general luna. one of the few hostels with beach access

Beautiful hostel with its own beach and free, really good breakfast. The rooms are nice but someone brought someone in for the night, so not as safe. Still, it’s a really good hostel and I highly recommend it. Showers are nice as well. Good for meeting other travelers

Hands down to Harana’s staff service, always friendly and helpful. Location is perfect away from General Luna , food is amazing and private pool and beach- isn’t it perfect?? Shouldn’t have leave Harana to try out other hostel, pretty regret on that. Cant wait to stay with Harana again!

Trust me this is where you want to come, great value compared to many other hostels. Staff are amazing and breakfast, coffee and calamari juice probably worth 500 PHP in itself every morning is free!! So many options too! Surf school I would say is hit and miss. I had two not so good and two good instructors.

A very spacious dorm with comfy beds. 2 shower and 2 toilets in each dorm. Breakfast is included. 3 western option and more local options. As Harana is also a restaurant it is more natural to get in touch with the people in your dorm than with the rest. But the location has many spots to chill and also access to the beach. It is a very nice place!

Super liebe Leute. Der Ort mit dem Ambiente hat uns super gut gefallen und wir werden definitiv wiederkommen. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns die Wünsche immer erfüllt.

Wonderful place! The rooms and hostel area are beautiful and the staff is so lovely. The food in the restaurant was some of the best Filipino food I had. And shoutout to the sassy queen Barky! Only thing they could add are some social events so it’s easier to meet fellow travellers.

Stayed in 12 bed doorm. Only noticed that the drying rack for wet clothing was a bit small for 12 guests.

I love the staff. Lovely managers. And daily cleaning of your stay. Amazing surfing spot and beautiful venue with restaurants, beach bar and pool and beach front. With the overall situation of the black out. They have running generator and scheduled time for conservation. But overall works lost of the time with WiFi!

Geweldig verblijf, goede sfeer, lekker ontbijt (veel keuze), heerlijk zwembad. Neem vooral surflessen bij de bijbehorende surfschool.

Simply outstanding - can‘t recommend this place enough
