Hospedaje Turistico Recoleta

Reserve y un señorita r Javier me escribió de la peor manera indicándome que el precio estaba mal y que debía pagar más dinero del que se reflejaba en la web, no solo eso sí no que además me dijo que si no quería pagar me buscará otro hostal realmente patetico la actitud de este señor y poco profesional la actitud de todo el personal, recomendaría cambiar urgentemente el personal, en especial al señor Javier

Muy mala mi experiencia en el hostel. Las fotos no condicen con el lugar que es muy viejo y no está refaccionado .La habitación que me dieron tenía sábanas cortas , mantas muy pesadas y viejas , el baño perdía agua y el piso se mojaba , sin TV , los pisos crujen , todo es muy viejo , se escuchan todos los ruidos de las habitaciones. El precio es caro comparado con los hoteles que están en la misma calle Recoleta que son nuevos y muy lindos .

Very bad experience. Rooms are HOT, and there’s 1 small fan for 10 people in a small congested room

İ booked a private Room after the Salkantay Trek.. I arrived in the Hostel really tired and they told me that they changed my room to a dorm without asking.. it was really bad! I changed to a Hotel next to the Hostel and I had a better private Room and it was cheaper.

Not the best stay here. The private room we had was right by reception which was noisy and a bit dark and damp. Looking back it isn’t shown on the hostels page at all which meant it was a bit of a disappointment when we arrived. Charged in dollars, but then a bad exchange rate to soles which I had to pay in cash.

I was bit by bugs in my bed at this hostel.

This hostel is seriously overrated, sorry!!!

They assigned us a different room from what we booked. The pictures doesn’t really match to the real state of the rooms. The bed was full of hairs. The shower was cold at times. We extended one more night and the manager (or owner?) made up the price of the room and when we asked for clarification he answered “it’s complicated” and add on top of that “come on you come from Europe, you can pay that”. He made us feel uncomfortable and the energy was weird.

Very unorganized. Had to check in and out again because of a mixup and the staff was very unorganized and not very helpful in terms of being understanding. Not any social vibes at all. The house is beautiful.

Nice hostel in a good location,a short walk to the historic centre but far enough away that you can eat at local restaurants. Other people here were friendly and staff were very helpful.

Lovely building. Traditional home. It WS very charming. Marcello is so kind and helpful. Showed us a good place to eat and was very welcoming!

We had a wonderful time in the Hospedaje in Cusco. The staff was super friendly and helpful with all the questions we had. We went on several trips and could store our big luggage without extra fee. The rooms were clean and although it can be could in the night in Cusco we had enough blankets to keep us warm. The breakfast wad also good and freshly made. The hospedaje felt a bit like home during our time in Cusco. We can definetly recommend staying there in Cusco. Thanks to all the Recoleta Team

Very nice hostel in Cusco, Peru! I had 4 nights with them. Perfect for tourists who want a bit of social in the common area while enjoying a good sleep before early-pickup tours around Cusco. Everything is clean, they have options of private or shared bathroom, breakfast is included with variations everyday. Very nice staff who are helpful and willing to answer questions. Highly recommend!

A lovely place to stay! Very calm and relaxed atmosphere with friendly people. Bathrooms cleaned regularly. Owner and staff (quite a few of whom are family members) are really lovely. The inclusion of a kitchen (albeit a fairly basic one) is super useful as well. The location is a little far from the centre but that hasn’t been an issue for being picked up for trips. Even if it’s not in the area, you just ask the company and they are fine with it. Showers are hot and beds are comfortable.

Great hostel, 1.5k outside of the main square so you’re close enough to do all activities, but it’s a little more peaceful and you have more opportunities to experience the rest of Cusco. The staff was very kind and helpful in answering all my questions and setting up tours. Great quality bed pillow and towel by hostel standards

This family-run hostel is great. Breakfast is included, and everything is clean. We could leave our bags for 4 nights during the Salkantay trek if we booked a night on return, which is fair. The manager and staff are very friendly. It’s a bit outside the center but close to good restaurants. Only downside: Wi-Fi isn’t great, but that seems common in Cusco.

We originally booked one night but ended up staying for a whole week because we felt so comfortable here. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They let us leave our bags for free while we went on a 5-day hike, the laundry was really fast, and the owner’s son even offered to take us to the bus terminal. It’s a really nice family-run hostel with a warm atmosphere. Great value for your money, we really enjoyed our stay!

I stayed in the hostel for 2 nights with a friend.The team is incredibly friendly and helpful; they really make you feel welcome and are always ready to assist with anything you need. The room was comfortable and very clean, perfect to relax after a day of excursion or visiting Cusco.The location is great, close to Plaza de Armas and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, so everything is within easy reach.A big plus: we were able to leave our luggage at the hostel for free while we went to

Fantastic hostel, all of the staff here were incredibly kind and helpful. The hostel isn't too social but it's perfect as a peaceful base before and after tours.

Great hostel in Cusco! It’s a 15 min walk to the main square, but there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was spacious and clean. The shower also had hot water and good pressure. The staff were all super nice. Would recommend!

We stayed here either side of our Machu Picchu trek for around 6 days and we LOVED it. A completely authentic stay. The whole family was so genuine and went out of their ways to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We booked quad bikes for Rainbow Mountain through the hostel which was brilliant. They were very flexible on payments and luggage storage. There are so many hostel options for Cusco and I’m glad we picked this one! Thank you, Anyai!

Very good stay at Hospedaje Turistico! Quiet hostel with friendly staff and good breakfast (sometimes eggs, sometimes fruits or pancakes, it varies). We did the Salkantay Trek and were able to leave our backs in a safe room for free.

The hostal Recoleta was incredible and the workers were very kind and friendly.I highly recommend this hostal.

Loved my stay in Recoleta. I had a private double room and it was perfect for chilling and switching off before Salkatay. It’s a family run hostel and it’s quiet but I met some great travellers for a chat/dinner. It’s not a party hostel but there’s a tv room with fooseball/ping pong table. Breakfast is free and very nice, tea available at any time. There’s a hairdryer and hot water available too. It’s a 15 minute walk to the centre but it’s safe!

This was an excellent hostel and was very clean. The room was clean everyday and was in a very good location. The staff helped me organize my vacation and made everything smooth and easy to navigate. Everything was very authentic as it was right in cusco. I have been in others hostels in Cusco and this was the best one. Breakfast was a plus as we didn’t know it was included. I would recommend this hostel to newcomers as it felt like home and welcomed me in a good way.
