Great location close to the tram and relevant sightseeing (cistern, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque etc. Unfortunately my room really smelled verry much like cigarette smoke which was really annoying. Additionally paying by card was only possible with a substantial fee (~5€) which I was not aware off before hand. Paying in EUR or Lira would have been possible without an additional fee.

Quarto muito pequeno, nos fundos do hotel. Porém tem im terraço no último andar com una vista muito bonita da cidade.

Cancelled my confirmed booking even though They have deposit payment. Not clean and smoking smells everywhere

Sehr zu empfehlen. Oktay hieß mich sehr herzlich willkommen und lässt einen sich sofort wohlfühlen. Die Lage ist gut, vieles ist zu Fuß erreichbar und die Tram ist auch nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Die Sauberkeit ist nicht perfekt, aber gut.

Great place, but I wouldn’t call it a hostel! It was lacking the social scene of a hostel I’m accustomed to. I got bored here and felt rather lonely. The owner is a hardworker and respectable man, but kinda reminds me of a defensive and stubborn villager when you give him a suggestion. He is a know-it-all and is biased about history, and he had a bit of an attitude sometimes. Other times he was charming. There weren’tshared dormitory hostel rooms. The owner does try. The Paris Hotel is basic accommodations with a heart! And a good value! The owner and staff are great. They were so helpful during our 3 night stay. We had some special requests which they were able to help us with. Everyone there spoke good English. The hotel is located in a quiet region within a quick walk to the Blue Mosque and to public transportation. The hotel has a rooftop common room with a nice view over the Bosphorus. Breakfast was free and was available for a long period of time.

A hidden gem

This hotel is located in a very good position. The area looked safe to me, and there is always someone at the reception. The owner is very kind and really cares that guests are at ease. The room was clean, simple but pretty good for the price. Also breakfast was included, and varied enough to please anybody.

Affordable accommodation close to everything in Sultahamet. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming,they also helped me organise a transfer to the airport. I would happily stay here again.

Volvería una y mil veces. La amabilidad del dueño y de los trabajadores no la tienen ni los hoteles de 5 estrellas. Siempre pendientes de todo. El hotel perfecto la ubicación y la terraza un lujo,menudas vistas y con café y tea gratis. y el desayuno buffet bastante bien. Lo único malo pues la gente q no respeta las horas de sueño con portazos y gritos pero bueno no es culpa del hotel. Sin duda volvería

Amazing stay! I was within a few minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and Blue mosque as well as a lot of the local restaurants and the tram station. Owner and employees were all amazing and very hospitable. The breakfast was a good start to my day during my time there. There was also a rooftop where you can see the bosphorus strait.

This is an exceptional place to stay in Istanbul. The location is very ideal to all the major attractions and it’s in a safe and cool neighborhood. I cannot emphasize how much the owner, Oktay, who instantly made me feel at ease in a place that often scams visitors at hotels. He ensured our booking was fulfilled and even upgraded our room! The entire time was a pleasure chatting with him and getting his insights about the city. He even sorted a cab to the airport for us at a fair price. 11/10.

Great affordable accommodation in Istanbul. You can't fault the location, or the hospitality. Huge breakfast spread each morning. It's not a traditional hostel as such, so doesn't have hostel vibes, but there is opportunity to interact with others art breakfast time in the communal dining room.

This is hotel has everything you need. Octav, the owner, is super friendly and helpful. Location is superb for exploring sultanahmet and for using the tram. Terrace is beatiful and relaxed, allowing you to watch the sea of marmara and hear the seaflocks. Breakfast is abundant. Staff is kind and friendly. All in all, incredible value for money. We stayed twice with my wife, and would come a third time for sure.

We booked a double room with private bathroom and it was great. We also had breakfast included which was delicious. The owner was super sweet and so helpful. The room was clean aswell as the rest of the hostel. There is a roof terrace overlooking Istanbul and the sea which was really pretty. There is a kitchen with a kettle, glasses, plates, stove etc. Our room also held a kettle and a fridge. Really nice place to stay in Istanbul. All the the dates are very friendly. There is a great view from the rooftop. We enjoyed the breakfast. There is a washing machine available and a drying room with drying racks. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.
